Making fun of her laugh and her pimples had him stooping even lower than she did.

Making fun of her laugh and her pimples stoops lower than her making cheap shots at his sexuality? Yeah, no. Making fun of somebody's sexuality is just as vile as making fun of their ethnicity. I fail to see how making fun of a few blemishes is equal.

Ragan is completely repulsive. He's as dirty as anyone else in the house and a whining crybaby to boot. HATE.

No disrespect to gay people, but I find that Ragan is trying too hard to be the stereotypical "gay guy" and it's making him very unlikeable.

I think you just paraphrased Rachel's comment during their now infamous fight, and I agree with you completely.

Whoever Ragan chooses to be is his own business. Nobody can really know for sure. He just strikes me as naturally flamboyant, as some people (gay or otherwise) just tend to be. Rachel is flamboyant in her own way.

However, Rachel's comment wasn't about Ragan trying too hard to be a 'stereotypical' gay. What she was doing was clinging to that stereotype and calling Ragan a 'bad gay' because he didn't exactly fit the mold she has built up in that puny brain of hers. Her comments were totally offensive not only to Ragan, but to myself and I suspect many, many other people across the country, gay or straight.

Labeling somebody as a 'bad gay' implies that there is a good, correct way to be gay, which is so fucking wrong and utterly offensive. Ragan had every single right to call her a vile, disgusting devil-child because she kind of is.

But that horse died long ago, so I shouldn't keep beating it.

I agree with you and as I said, I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. Just saying he's trying too hard. (No way do I agree with anything Rachel does or says!)

Yet Ragan brought up the word itself again last night when he was treating us all to another insufferably bitchy campfest.

I'm gay, too, and I haven't loathed a houseguest this much since Amber was on the show. My point is that the sentiment behind any of Rachel's comments is no more bitter than the sentiment behind Ragan's comments. He's a vile hypocrite, and gay or not, he's a disgrace to humanity.

I'm gay. I totally wasn't offended by Rachel's remark. One, consider the source. Two, despite her way of putting it, in some ways, she was and is correct: Ragan is playing the "bitchy, mean girl-gay stereotype" for all its worth. Sadly, Ragan fits into many "bad gay" molds lying around the community.

Precisely. He's choosing to fill the Marcellas/Joe/Joshuah role of vile bastard this season, and Rachel called him out on it. Simple as.

Ragan, an honor graduate of the flaming school for nelly voices, complains to Hayden that he can't stand to hear Brendon's voice. Has there ever been a houseguest any less self-aware than nasty little Ragan?

Admittedly, I can't figure out why he'd want to be on this show in the first place. The man isn't stupid, he appears to be respected in his field, and is probably the first houseguest with prior media credentials that don't involve porn or dating reality shows. But, he is leaving with at least $20,000 and I suppose his professional and academic respect might as well be worth something when it's cashed out.

I think it's obvious the guy is a complete famewhore He is hoping this will at the least blow up his podcast and lead to something bigger, although I cannot imagine his podcasts have the 10,000 listeners he says it does. I mean, I'm sure it does have that many it's just that I can't picture listening to that whiney voice using a 100 words when 10 will do and being a fan.

Kudos to Ragan for pulling another one out of the fire and winning POV. All he has to do now is win HOH - otherwise he's toast.

Regan's best chance of winning the half million disappeared when Brendon was evicted last night. Going against Brendon in the final two was the only chance he had of winning. He loses against Britney, he loses against Hayden, he loses against Lane, and he probably loses against Enzo since he'll most likely have Brigade blood on his hands to get to that point.

Ragan's Website

Some facts you will learn:

  • At 34, Ragan only weighs 140 lbs.
  • Ragan stopped sucking his thumb at age 30.
  • Ragan's students apparently think he's a tough grader.
  • Ragan's mother abandoned he and his father.
  • Ragan looks really good with hair.
  • Ragan is really freaking smart.

It's worth a gander.

Christ on a cracker. For a professor, someone can't write a sentence without CAPITALIZING words for EMPHASIS. Does the blog ever mention where he teaches (supposedly)?

Aw, Ragan... You feel defeated? Alone? Conspired against?

Now you know how you made Brendon and Rachel feel for the last seven weeks.

Love him or hate him, his interview in The Advocate will certainly cement your opinion.

Well, the next time I want to read a tough interview, I guess I'll go to The Advocate! Not. No one would know about the AIDS/babies comments and the other things he said unless the read the comments. I kind of like Rachel, altho that may be because the two contestants I disliked the most hated her -- the enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that -- but the discussion of her was fair.

I also thought his comment about not being able to be nude was interesting. I don't usually walk around nude, but I hate wearing a bra and take it off practically the moment I walk in the door. TMI. I'd never really thought about that aspect of being on camera 24/7 and how irritating that must be.

I'm just glad he meant he wanted to be nude in his own house. My mind immediately went to some nightmarish scenario where Ragan was posing naked in some magazine.
