I did find the outrage by her teammate at Cake lady daring to actually be able to let the contest go once they were past it and not able to do a damn thing ridiculous and hope she is quick to follow rolling up her pastry mat.
As annoying as Craig was with his voice, lack of experience and technique, Melissa, the woman who you are referring to, bothered me more than anyone. She was the classic negative nilly who bitches about not liking the direction the team is going yet doesn't actually offer anything better or stand up for her own vision. I thought that the judges let her off way too easy in just saying that she was overruled by Lena -
on other reality shows, they would harp on the fact that Melissa let herself be overruled and didn't stick up for what she wanted, giving off the impression that she's weak and not a leader. Then again.. it didn't sound like she really had any awe inspiring ideas herself making her negativity that much more annoying.
I don't really have any favorites yet and barely remember any of their names, especially those not heavily featured in the premiere. I think it's going to take another episode or 2 to be able to differentiate between them as well as learn their own personal styles/talents.
Finally, count me in on thinking that having two 4 person teams and then two 3 person teams was unfair in a challenge of this magnitude and in reality, Team Jack & the Beanstalk had more like 2 members since Craig was reduced to just doing prep since he was incapable of mastering anything else. The 2 women each did a dessert and then collaborated on the show piece together while Craig watched.
