I have watched a lot of TV in my 32 years. But Mother of God, Burt Hummel’s speech tonight on Glee made me sob, stand up, and cheer like I have never done before. Shit in heaven Mike O’Malley nailed it.

Also, besides the unnecessary auto-tuning, Santana and Kurt nailed “Bad Romance.”

Idina and Lea brought more joy to “Poker Face” than Lady Gaga does.

I will love this show forever, based on these three scenes alone. And let me say it again, in case I haven’t said it right…Burt. Hummel. Kicks. Ass. I hope every kid coming out is lucky enough to have a father like that.

Hell has frozen over. Matt spoke! O.O

Also, I love Mr. Hummel. That is all.

I can't believe that Rachel would sing Poker Face with her mother.

Tina as a vampire scaring Figgins off, was freaking hilarious. I'm still laughing. Hahahaha!

This episode was pure gold.

Here's the thing with Kurt and Finn: Kurt wasn't innocent. As bad as it was for Finn to go yelling about faggy this and faggy that, he did have a point under there. Kurt was acting like a pretty slimy sexual predator - being flirty, obviously crushing on Finn, yet holding back just enough to go "What, me? No, not at all" when called on it. That's a terrible thing to do to a person, because it leaves Finn looking like he's totally overreacting to nothing when Kurt was manipulating him into that response the whole time. I don't care that Kurt is only 16 and not that emotionally mature - he knew that he was in the wrong, and his little snit at Finn about "I feel sorry for you" was entirely uncalled for. When Finn said he wanted to talk, Kurt should have apologized for coming on so strong. So the big Finn support of Kurt at the end was nice and all, but Kurt still hasn't either come to terms with or been responsible for his own behavior.

Holy crap Other Asian AND Shaft both got lines. IN THE SAME EPISODE.

I unabashedly love Gaga's "Bad Romance" so I had high standards for the Glee version. While the vocals were great (Santana! Singing!) the dancing left me a bit unimpressed. There has been some great choreography on this show and it seemed a bit weak this time around. That said, Rachel's pseudo-Kermit dress was hilariously tacky and awesome.

Mike O'Malley I love you. Please join the cast of every tv show I enjoy watching because you are awesome. I could not control the waterworks when he was yelling at Finn.

I had to pause the tv when they cut to MM during "Beth" and he was directing the wackadoodle orchestra in his head. Hysterical.

Loved loved loved the piano version of "Poker Face". Idina and Lea's voices sound wonderful together and the two actresses have a great chemistry.

(Edited because I was having a Gaga-induced brain fart)

So Finn gets called out and learns his lesson about using the "F" word, but Kurt DOESN'T learn his lesson about being a crazy manipulative stalker (and a liar about that)?

There's a small imbalance here.

I love you Burt. Never change.

I could listen to Idina and Lea sing duets for hours at a time. They are absolutely amazing.

Also, I might have cheered out loud when Finn showed up in a dress.

I laughed at Schuester's "slow clap" at the end.

Oh, yeah. That was ludicrous. It ruined a great moment.

Otherwise: that was spectacular. Burt Hummel continues to be magnificent! Tina was front and center! Santana's singing was off the charts! What a fantastic ep.

And yes, Finn went about it TOTALLY the wrong way, and I'm glad he got told off, but I can also understand where he was coming from. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it would be to be crushed on like that, and not reciprocate it at all.

I have a lot of different thoughts about the what this whole Kurt/Finn thing played out. In a lot of ways, I don’t like how it was handled - somehow, Finn became the “villain” in this episode, and Kurt seems to have avoided any kind of consequence for his persistently creepy behaviour towards Finn. Pretty much everything Finn says to Kurt prior to the “f-word” is entirely correct, which Kurt denies, and at no point does he have to face up to it (while Finn gets berated); shouldn’t Burt also find out how much Kurt has been manipulating him? How is the endgame of Kurt's inappropriate behaviour Finn learning a lesson about latent homophobia?

Despite this being the “Lady GaGa” episode, KISS totally kicked GaGa’s ass.

Wow, Tina, two weeks in a row you get something to do! And they brought back Principal Figgins' religious fundamentalism again.

Imagaine my shock when Shaft actually spoke! And Mike spoke for the first time in the back 9! Amazing.

I love how Tinkles is basically on call whenever the Glee club members need him, even if it means accompanying Rachel to Carmel High.

OMG, I loved Burt, he was flat out amazing. Father of the Year, in my book.

Figgins+Vampires=hilarious

Santana KILLED Bad Romance. Much better than her part in "The Boy is Mine".

Apparently Matt is only allowed to speak when he's wearing his whiteface?

I was actually on Finn's side until he started throwing the f-bomb out to bash Kurt. Kurt still seems super creepy to me, and I don't know why it was so hard for him to see Finn's point of view. If a straight male was plotting some Machiavellian scheme to get a hot girl to move into his room, I'd be creeped out too.

EDIT: Oh -while the vocals were on point as always, I despised that version of Poker Face. Chris Daughtry and South Park both had awesome rocked-out covers of Poker Face, but turning it into a cabaret broadway performance did absolutely nothing for me.

Best.Glee.Episode.EVAH!
It was heartwarming, made me cry, hilarious and campy all att the same time. LOVE IT!

A few things:
-MATT SPEAKS! (And Mike<3). Please speak more, but next time be your just normal hot selves.
-Mike O'Malley deserves an Emmy. That was one of the best scenes I have seen on television in a while. Terrific acting from all 3 of them.
-Fierce Asian vampire Tina is amazing.
-Rachel's water story was so cute.
-Speaking of adorable, LOVED Poker Face. I always preferred the accoustic version, but the performance was truly flawless.
-Loved that Speechless was playing in Kurt's room.
-Cory in the Lady Gaga getup was the hottest thing ever.

ETA: Giggled at Rachel's line about Tinkles.

This wasn't the most enjoyable episode ever, but I think it was really impressively well-structured. Nice storytelling with a sense of resolution that wasn't pat and sitcommy.

I love you, Burt Hummel (although I did sympathize with Finn, even though his outburst was inappropriate and unnecessarily hurtful).

I'm trying to figure out the point where I went from rooting for underdogs to goofing on a musical improv troupe. I really hope there's more singing next week.

Could the Glee Club possibly stop crapping on Rachel before the end of the season? I'm almost inclined to join those comically intolerant football players. Usually, the bullies don't explain their hate crimes. Figgins' ignorance is bordering on incompetence. Kurt was always a representation of Ryan Murphy. Tonight, he became a Mary Sue.

Gee, is this the first time they named Brad?

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt like this. Burt's speech was nice and all, but it didn't address the whole issue of Finn feeling like Kurt was flirting with him when he had made it known he wasn't comfortable with it.

BTW: Finn sounded/looked extra yummy tonight.

Tossing Finn's anger filled "F" words in there confuses the issue, seemingly deliberately. It almost came off like a cheap stunt to turn the issue of Kurt's behavior around.

Absolutely! Finn has never been that continuously hurtful. Has he ever used that word before?

I have to agree that Santana was a star tonight. She killed Bad Romance. I don't like Lady Gaga, so musically this episode didn't have much for me.

Idina... What an amazing performance. *sigh* I haven't heard her sing in a while. As amazing as always.

Yes. that's where this episode went South.

I mean its almost taking this weird position that Kurt can get away with being a creep, and we are just supposed to be okay with it because he's SAD and a member of an otherwise unfairly treated group. Tossing Finn's anger filled "F" words in there confuses the issue, seemingly deliberately. It almost came off like a cheap stunt to turn the issue of Kurt's behavior around.

I'm gonna pull a Gaga and say LAHV LAHV LAHV.

"Speechless" playing in the background of Kurt and Finn's scene where Finn was taking off his make-up? Amazing. Perfect song for that moment.

I thought "Poker Face" would come off as awkwardly inappropriate, but instead it was hilariously inappropriate. It reminded me of Maeby and her uncle Michael singing "Afternoon Delight" on Arrested Development.

And I SHRIEKED when I saw Finn in Gaga's red latex Elizabethan gown (which she wore to meet the queen of England!). If there had been more Sue and Brittany, this would be my hands-down favorite Glee episode.

ETA: And it goes without saying that my girl Santana rocked "Bad Romance". Though really, if everyone couldn't handle the choreo for it, they should've just strategically focused on Naya and Heather rather than showing others' lackluster attempts.

It would have been a much more powerful scene if Kurt had interrupted his dad and said "No, Finn is right - I like him too much, and while I work through this we can't share a room". Kurt still gets the support from his dad, that support gives him the courage to admit what he's been doing to Finn, Finn gets vindicated a little and yelled at a little, and then everything works out and Finn and Kurt and Burt all build another bedroom onto the house together.
