Do Not Open PMs From People You Don't Know

We've had a situation here lately where a poster was sending unsolicited spoilers to other posters via PM because they supported different contestants on a TV game show. I wish I could make the crime sound more pathetic than that, because I don't know what kind of gutless wonder would pull such a dick move, to purposely spoil someone who did not want to be spoiled, over a disagreement on some people you don't know on a show that you both enjoy AS ENTERTAINMENT. This is not your family, no money is changing hands, your pride is not on the line.

Anyway, the upshot is that even if I ban the alleged perpetrator of this asshole move, there's nothing to keep him or her from re-registering under another name, posting ten times to get PMs, and doing the same thing all over again out of spite. So don't open PMs from someone that you don't know or don't regularly correspond with. I'm sorry it's come to this but again, a small tiny select portion of posters apparently can't separate fantasy from reality, and I almost feel sorry for them, but not really.

Thanks and you can PM me all the spoilers you want, because I have to read the spoiler thread anyway, or just PM me if you have questions or concerns.
