Frack. It's going to take some time for me to process this. They certainly weren't shy about the body count this episode. I think I felt badly for everyone except Vergis and Barnabas. I hope Chloe gets to be the one to gank Barnabas. When she had to choose who would live or die, I was hoping for her to shoot him.

Who's Chloe? (re post above)

Phimon! D:

Amaaanda!! D: D:

On the bright side it was nice to be totally right about Emmanuelle being Evelyn.

The proto-raptors were also pretty neat.

But still!

Holy fucking shit!

This show! This show is killing me!

Poor, Poor Amanda. You were too good for the worlds. Maybe Daniel will learn some important things from your death. Who am I kidding?

I'm assuming that Nestor is dead as we saw that Clarice had left the car and the previews indicate that She. Is. Pissed.
I just hope that she'll have the pleasure of offing Barnabas and soon. He needs killing.

No more sympathy for Zoe-bot. Philo was a good guy and she tossed him away like refuse.

Evelyn sure pounced fast. She manipulated Joseph back into the real world by breaking his heart so she could fix it...she may well become a wicked stepmother. If she's willing to tear Joseph away from Tammy like that...what could it bode for poor Willy?

Death all around tonight. Nestor, Philo, Amanda, maybe Zoe (again?). At least nobody hurt Serge.

Well. They pretty much just blew up the entire show, much as Battlestar was prone to do, except the mothership never had that high of a body count.

If there was never another episode of Caprica, I'd be satisfied with the prequel thus far. We can pretty much infer that nothing good will transpire from any of the events to come. Both Daniel and Joseph are once again at their lowest point (although Daniel has literally nothing left at this point and has no obvious escape from the hole he's dug himself, while Joseph can finally start his healing with Evelyn and his remaining family).

The STO storyline is still a bore, but it feels as if the setup is finally complete and it will finally be heading somewhere interesting.

Wait! What did I miss? Vergis is OK and Barnabas only on the way to be taken out, right?
That box with the green label will get to be used and I doubt that the Graystone/Zoe conflict is done. Neither is the Tamara/Dad one - I am sure. There are other worlds in the V-world where they can meet.

This show! This show is killing me!

Not you. But just about everyone else.

No kidding...she knew where Tammy was all along and manipulated their meeting. Some Persephone!

I am going to guess that U87/Zoe-A is ok. A military weapon that can't withstand a blown up gas tank would be worth crap.

FRAK, FRAK, FRAK

As a veteran of BSG, I should be used to these cliffhangers by now? But Ronald D. Moore and Co. really know how to do them esp. the first mid-season ones.

I definitely need time to process this entire episode. Everyone was facing the hard truths left and right. I thought last week foreshadowed humanity/Caprica's/colonies end. But tonight it totally hit like a ton of bricks, that the fall is going to be down right brutal. I can't even begin to fathom how anyone survived physically, mentally or emotionally.

The fact that Zoe was born into "life" so to speak due to an act of blood and violence combined with the irony that there is literal blood on her hands; is chilling.

It certainly, however, makes me see BSG in a new light and understand just how desperate and tired everyone was.

Sure thing, baby.

RDM knows what he's doing when it comes to cliffhangers for sure. Wish they had given us some indicator when Caprica would be returning.

Count me in for those who thought I saw Michelle Forbes for a second. I'd kill to see the actors who played the Pegasus crew again in Caprica, I loved the Pegasus arc, its what really got BSG's claws in me.

...did anyone catch who was singing...I swear I heard Gaeta!

I think Sasha is Cain, another awesome callback to the series.

Zoe-bot has lost all love and understanding from me after tonight, granted Philomon annoyed me but he didn't have to die like that, swatted away like he was nothing.

Loved the proto-raptors, kind of a skynet feel to them, what were those funky rifles that the troops had at the roadblock?

For Evelyn and the whole V-world thing I'm not sure how I should feel, worried that she and Tammy did this to him or glad that he won't be killing himself with that "Amp" stuff in the game.

Wrenchwind, yes she was. She was the sergeant who investigated the water bombing in the first season, I believe.

I think Evelyn did what she had to. She initially hoped finding Tammy would help him, and only after it became clear that he'd become addicted to amp (and that's my only quibble with the show ... I'd have liked even a half-scene's worth of lead in to that, despite the hints in previous episodes) did she go and talk to Tamara to ask what should be done. She cares, she's strong (and Tauron, rather than simply Tauron-familiar, which was what I previously came away with), and I think she's on the side of whatever angels may still survive in this show.

ETA: dalek sec, I felt even more empathy for Zoe, because it seemed to me that she had no true gut understanding that her touch could quite truly kill. She knew, intellectually, that she was in a robot's body, but she didn't realize that what would have been an angry slap, had she been in her own body, was a lethal action in her current prison. Her shock and self-loathing was pretty evident as she drove. I think she was actually trying to kill herself with that crash. Poor thing doesn't realize she's not going to get out of hell that easily.

I think only one in addition to Definitely Dead Philomon.

Best of all possible worlds it's Clarice's husband. She's got more. The call to Daniel could have been about the bot.

I'm putting money on Amanda somehow being alive.

But damn, it's all switched up now fer sure.

The problem I have with Evelyn is that she gave him the amp. She definitely had a hand in creating that problem.

I thought the flashbacks with Zoe & the music/vocals at the end were so heavy handed... that I laughed. Maybe cause I really don't care about Zoe or Zoe-A. Yes, they're 16 year olds but very annoying. Actually I really don't care for any of the Graystones.

Loved the Lacy subplot. Although she still didn't yell at Zoe-A about if she followed real Zoe onto the train she'd be dead.

Poor Phil, Poor Nester. RIP. I suspect these are the only two characters that actually died in this episode.

I don't for a second think that Amanda really went over. I suspect they'll have like her Angel brother grab her or something. Or C. Willow.

Evelyn being Josephs guide...wow how surprising!! Except that it wasn't. I really wish they'd go more into the virtual world Tamara. Tamara's subplot is so much more interesting then Zoe-A's.

No Sam, No William?

It seems that BSG has made me jaded.

In her defense, I don't think she meant to kill him. And I expect her to be really sorry about it.

I thought she was sincerely doing what was necessary. He had become totally strung out. But now that you mention it, she was the one who turned him on to Amp, and she may have prevented him from finding her earlier. And she probably knew Heracles' avatar name because she had investigated him for Joseph, not because Tad had contacted her.

When will it resume?

According to Sasha Roiz: October. Which is way better than the January or July of 2011 I was reading elsewhere.

She also knew where Tammy was, and led Joseph on a wild goose chase.
