Erica and Father Jack discover they are being tracked by a Seeker from the V's; Chad tries to be more investigative.

This was an okay episode, it was interesting to see more alien technology. I'm glad Chad isn't too complacent around the Vs. They definitely did their best to make Morena as strange looking as possible.

The file that Erica smuggled out was pretty thick, I'm surprised she got it out so easily.

Tyler and his infatuation is boring me already.

This episode wasn't as fast paced, but the show seems pretty solid so far. I'll continue watching for at least this 4 episode block.

That's pretty much how I felt about it. I enjoyed the pilot mor, but this was a solid effort.

I think the older priest is a V, though. Something about him is off...

Good continuance from the pilot. They really had Erica running around trying to put out a lot of fires this episode. Telling Father Hotness that was the second time she's heard him curse was a nice, light touch. Glad the writers are utilizing EM's sense of humor.

I'm finding myself very impressed with Morris Chestnut's delicate handling of his character's life falling apart. And I can't be the only one who is truly impressed at the gorgeous crown molding in his home. C'mon! ;-)

Tyler is still annoying, but a little less so this episode.

Ana deadly glare towards her assistant and when she realized (what is Scott Wolf's characters name?) underminded by pulling in an opposing view was spot on. The smile that never quite reaches her eyes is wonderful and creepy at the same time.

The snake hallucination on the guy they captured was disturbing.

Good episode.

"You're a frickin priest?" was funny. The rest, meh. I doubt I'll remember to watch next week. Such a shame cause I love me some Father Jack.

Yeah, the older priest does seem suspiciously V friendly.

I agree. Of course I am looking at just about everyone now, thinking they are a V!

I'm totally over Tyler. he's a snot. He needs slapped.

This one left me a little underwhelmed. It was much slower paced this week. I found myself much more interested in Morris Chestnut's character and Anna.

Any chance you're from Western Pennsylvania, Maryland, or West Virginia, SciFiNut?

I was a huge fan of the original V and even had some of the books...I'm glad this reimagining is great as well!

I kept doing the same thing. I kept distracting myself throughout the entire episode wondering whether not someone is a V.

I do agree with the poster above that the old priest is a V.

Another solid episode. This show is 2 for 2 in my book.

Today's episode wasn't as good as the pilot but it was still a solid effort that kept me entertained.

Tyler is still annoying as heck IMO. It pains me to see Erica love him so much while all he gives her in return are lies, lies and even more lies. Poor woman deserves better.

I'm still liking the Erica/Jack chemistry. "You're a freaking priest" was one of the best lines of the night.

The V torture session with the snake hallucination was all kinds of creepy.

And Dale's back in the land of the living. That's good to know. I can't wait to find out how they're going to utilize him in later episodes.

I think the older priest is a V, though. Something about him is off...

I agree. I've been thinking this ever since he gave Father Jack those odd looks during his sermon.

I told you Alan Tudyk wasn't dead!!! And you'll all be happy to know, I can now tell Robin Wood and Morris Chestnut apart. And may I just say, Morris Chestnut shirtless - da-a-a-m-m-m-n-n-n!!!!!!!!!!!!

"You're a fricken priest!?" Heh. I love you Elizabeth, you can deliver a line like nobody else.

I think I'll start calling the priest OldManV from now on. Come on, no way he isn't a V. If he isn't, he's the best red herring I've ever seen.

Chad is kind of a slimeball and I still like him. Maybe it's because of the dimples. *shrugs*

Tyler can just die. Now. You think with Mommy being an FBI agent he would have the common sense to listen to her. Instead, he's giving whiny-emo-useless teen a whole new meaning.

Anna is still creeping me out. But I won't be satisfied until I see her eat a hamster. Deliver show!

Count me in the "old man priest's a V" camp. In fact, Mr. Mezzo and I discussed it thusly right after one of his scenes with father Hotness:

Mr. Mezzo: I have a theory...
me: He's a lizard?
Mr.: Yup.

Though Mr. Mezzo was more pleased with my mixed-species metaphor when I yelled at Tyler after one of his annoyinger moments: "I hope she bites your head off after she has sex with you!!!"

Anybody else think of Phantasm when the seeker was chasing Erica and the good father? Or did I just out myself as old?
Nice to see Dale's alive, but Erica's kind of boned now.

I wonder if that sentiment was one that came from disappointment since he's now [technically] off limits?

SO glad Alan Tudyk's character is still alive. And count me in as yet another who believes the old priest is totally a V. Felt it since the first episode.

I don't know who's creepier....Anna or her assistant Marcus. I finally figured out where I've seen him before. He played serial killer Kyle Boone on an episode of 'NCIS'. He plays creepy real good.

Nope. Southern Indiana. :) Similar mentatlity - coal mining, southern and a bit redneck.

TexasChic, totally with you on Morris. Woof.

So far, i'm most interested in the Vistors. I love the looks on Anna (I'm also completely whipped for any Firefly alum. So take it with a grain of salt). But the telling point with that for me tonight was after Chad gave his little... ultimatum?... the V-flack was pissy, but the smile Anna slowly let out had something else. Plotting, evil ideas, adaption.

Over all though, this seemed a bit slower. But still excited for next week.

Mr. Mezzo: I have a theory...
me: He's a lizard?

I just had a Joss moment with that.

I liked it! I liked it a lot because it really picked up right after the first episode. Y'all wanted Agent Erica and Father Hotness having to run and do something about the dead bodies in there? They did!

Of course it all turned screwed up and WRONG. But that's good for the story.

Is it wrong that I'm feeling more sympathy for Lisa getting in trouble with her superiors about Tyler's lack of peace? Poor lizard girl. Hopefully she didn't get the snakes.

So we've got Mr. Chestnut going about trying to resurrect whatever original resistance happened when the sleeper Vs came around. And we've got Agent Erica somewhat plausibly searching out possible resistance fighters with that list. Hopefully they'll cross paths soon, because I don't see Erica and the Father staying alive very long if it remains just the two of them.

I think the reporter actually scored points with Anna because she DOES understand human culture better than her V subordinate. She had to make that original power play, but I think she also knows why he made his. Their power games are going to be interesting to watch. More of a chess match than the resistance will be an actual slugging match.

I don't think Dale's going to get very far with the "let me kill my ex-partner 'cause she saw my face" thing. If Erica increases her public profile (as they sort of hinted at in the previews) without just screaming "Vs are LIZARDS!" then it might be difficult to remove her without raising questions.

Alan Tudyk did look rakish with the head scar, didn't he?

Mr. Mezzo: I have a theory...
me: He's a lizard?

I just had a Joss moment with that.

"You're a frickin Priest!" was great. I do think Erica was a little dissapointed that the 4400 guy is now off limits. Her son still needs to go away.

So I too was playing who's a V during the show. We only really know that Erica and Jack are not.

I thought her boss was V because he seemed to know way to much about a case she didn't tell him about.

Wash is still alive, yay! Maybe we'll get some scenes with him and Morena. Who is doing a good job of being really creepy both in actions and looks. Although she's had practice being an Alien leader from Stargate.

When Chad made his power play, I was like you don't know what they are so they could just eat you or something. So I'd be careful trying to play them.

Chad! Okay, thanks...that would have bugged me all night.

During the pilot, I wasn't sure if I was going to like Chad, because he rolled over pretty fast. But this episode gave me some hope for him yet. He got Anna's attention on his terms by deciding not to be the V's mouthpiece at their whimsy, which was ballsy. Nice little back and forth between them that could prove to be a really intriguing storyline.

Tory! And Starbuck's daddy!

Speaking of Battlestar, the first few episodes of that show felt like they were about something specific: the Cylon attack every 33 minutes; the water situation and the prison ship. I almost wish this was a more standalone episode. It didn't have a particular set-piece, or anything notable to distinguish it. It just felt like a continuation of the pilot, or part two of a miniseries.

If Erica really doesn't want her son falling in with the Vs, why isn't she a little more specific? Maybe she doesn't have to use the words "lizard people," but the only reason she gives him to stay away from them is because she wants him to.

I expected Chad's "Visitors: Pro or Con" stunt to end up costing Con Lady her life to serve as a warning to Chad.

Nice to see Rekha Sharma. Though the guy who played Tyler was annoying and not very good.

Did anyone try calling the 866 phone number that was on Dale's phone list?

Looking forward to more DianaAnna (Not!Diana?). I really like her character, her facial expressions, and just her presence. Hopefully now that they get their green card, we'll see even more of her.

Tyler needs to die. Love the paranoia about everyone being Visitors (the old priest is sooo a V). Also, loved seeing the dead partner pop into life at the end.
