Ah hell. I'll watch it anyway. Where else can you see Luke Cage and Iron Fist animated?

They don't have to get super-adult and dark with the themes and characterizations, but they can make it more palatable to teens and adults w/o frightening/boring the toddler set.
Brave and The Bold is a perfect example of a cartoon that's pleasing to all age groups while still being respectful of the canon.

I've made a list of some of my favorite quotes.
Iron Man: Sweetie, how about if Uncle Iron Man makes you a pretty new tiara, like the one Luke Cage wears?
Luke Cage: It’s a headband!
Iron Man: It’s a tiara; we’ve all discussed it.
Thor: MORE COWBELL! Thus spoke Thor.
Silver Surfer: So that is what happens to a toad when it is struck by lightning… What a let down.
Captain America: That’s just the phone, Hulk. If it’s President Roosevelt, tell him I’m not here.
Thor: As she made her dinner! Vile villain, a waste of good Asgardian meatballs! Frozen food never tastes fresh when thawed. Hast thou never watched the cooking man shows on the jumping picture box?
Captain American: [Falls from the sky, rescued by long-haired Thor] Thanks for the save, lady. Oh, you liberated women of today. Equal pay for equal work, I say!
Iron Man: There's no crying in super villain-land!
Thor: [to Loki, while putting him in a headlock] I be rubber, and thou art glue. Whatever thou speakest bounces off me and clings to you.... MOST WEAK! Disappearing is cheating!
Thor: O truly there is no greater glory than 2-for-1 coupon day!
Reptil: Mira! I mean look! ... Shouldn't we go after them?
Thor: ...Yea, but the prospect of store-wide savings weighs heavily on my soul.
Captain American: Hero up, Thor! And get a haircut, you look like a hippie.
Hulk: HULK CRASH!
Iron Man: That's new.
Iceman: You probably just want me to make popsicles like the last time it was hot outside.
Iron Man: Hey, those were fudgesicles. And that was a special request by the mayor!
Iceman: I don’t care; I’m not coming out of my Icy Cave of Being Aloneness.
Perhaps I just have an infantile sense of humor. Hee.

It seems to evoke a feeling that the show could've fit right at home during the 80's. Dr. Doom himself seems to have gotten inspiration from the likes of Cobra Commander, Skeletor and Megatron, with a hint of Gargamel. I do like how MODOK is one of the main minions, but I just do NOT like to voice for him. His design, however, just proves that Jack Kirby's style can be translated flawlessly into the show's character designs.
Also, that theme song has grown on me, mostly in the dark depths of my mind. It's a heck of an earworm.
The Spectacular Spider-Man is the reason why Spidey and none of his villains have appeared so far (although I have heard that they'll show up in Season 2).

But that show is a bit tough for the younger kids to follow.Brave and The Bold is a perfect example of a cartoon that's pleasing to all age groups while still being respectful of the canon.
My four year old and his friends absolutely love this show. I think it's geared towards the 3-6 year old crowd and it really is perfect for them. You can also buy all the characters complete with little sets and my son even has a Superhero Squad Chutes and Ladders game. I think the show is cute myself.

I hadn't thought of that. I assumed it was Marvel trying to replicate the success of DC's Tiny Titans in TV form. Kind of a gateway drug for the youngsters to their products and something grown up fans can sometimes get a chuckle out of.Marvel people thought that Brave & The Bold wasn't enough like Superfriends
Ha! I'm an adult and I'm always irritated by how BtBatB has the teaser and a episode plot. I'm like "But what happened with the other thing!?"But that show is a bit tough for the younger kids to follow.

I get why little kids would like it. And they don't really have to know the characters' comic book roots to enjoy it. It's a fun little show about superheroes. Some they may recognize like Iron Man, Hulk and the X-Men. I doubt alot of younger kids know who characters like Hawkman or Ms. Marvel are though. I love Ms Marvel by the way. I keep hoping she'll end up in one of these Marvel movies some day.

Reptil: My favorite cheese, Quesada Joe.
Hulk: (laughs) Cheese named Joe is Hulk's friend.
Reptil: Quesada Joe, it's Super Cheesy!
Speaking of Reptil, I can't believe I didn't even notice or suspect a fractal after the Brynnie Braton episode.

Add me to the Adam West-as-Nighthawk lovefest! I really liked Kevin Sorbo as KaZar as well!
This is the rare show that is animated, aimed for younger viewers, but makes the husband laugh once in a while. The 'stop, back that up just to be sure' kind of laugh. (I tend to watch first and save the ones I think he'd like on the dvr.)
I haven't seen the Ororo/Storm episodes, so I'm looking forward to them. Hopefully, we get the Wasp/Jan Van Dyne in one or two episodes.
Sadly, I'm watching eps out of order, sort of , from The Hub, and I'm catching up on missed episodes from the 6 part Dark Surfer arc! I will look and see if the All Captain Squad is coming up this week too, as I'm a sucker for stuff like Bitchy Smurf sketched out!
