I think there is literally zero chance that the spoiler thing will be mentioned.

Oh, I know, I know, and I'm sure all of you are right - but I can dream, can't I?

I love the fact that Russell pretty much controls the game no matter what. Go with him, and you end up with a final three of all people from your tribe. Go against him? All of his tribe is out of the game for real except for Mike, who would have to overcome amazing odds to get to the final three.

I fantasize (against all that I know to be true as far as timing, casting and when it was revealed that he was the leak) that russel was purposely placed in a tribe that was made up of contestants specifically predisposed to despise him. That is the ultimate producer payback rather than give russel any airtime or attention.

I actually think Ometepe would have hated him more. I remember early-on there were a couple of members of Zapatera that were excited about having Russell, Steve in particular, but like usual the minute his personality swept through the camp absolutely everyone hated him.

I don't know about "controls the game." I see it more as the spectre of Russell Hantz just refusing to let go, combined with the fact that the production staff seems to want to do everything to keep him relevant in the game weeks after he was eliminated.

I never thought I'd say this but I'm actually looking forward to how Russell is treated during the Reunion. I wish he would be completely ignored but there's no way it would happen. But watching him make a complete ass of himself at the HvV Reunion gives me hope that it will happen once again.

This. I'm rubbing my hands in glee just thinking about it. And then we get to watch clips of Rob doing amazing things and Russell has to sit through all of those. Hopefully he learns a thing or two how to actually play.

I guess Jeff Probst will actually be talking to people in the last row since that's where Russell will be. I don't know how Russell will be able to contain himself if he isn't the center of attention. And, if Rob should win (and, win fan favorite) Russell's head might explode. That's something to look forward to. LOL!

For sure, Russell won't be left ignored during the reunion because Jeff will want to probe him and extract as much juice as possible as to, "But how could YOU be eliminated in the third episode?!?!" And contrary to popular opinion, I happen to appreciate Jeff a lot and get that as a producer, he will take the side of show marketing. Which includes Russell, a person he loves to have on the show but, according to his own words, wouldn't want to hang out with in real life.

I share approximately the same opinion. While not being as gleeful as Jeff about Russell, I can appreciate that a villain of that nature does make for good TV. We viewers have a choice between getting offended or laughing our heads off about how he's playing the game. As long as TV is entertainment for me, I tend to pick the latter.

Although, he can scram away from the camera for a while now. The show's mistake was to have him come back too many times too soon. It feels like an Amanda overload.

How could he be eliminated in the third episode? Because he was playing with morons who all got themselves booted from the game almost immediately.

Unfortunately, I think the most we can hope for is a quiet little lawsuit filed in a couple weeks. I think even that is unlikely because Russell would be a dick about it and bring it more publicity than CBS/Mark Burnett wants. I think they'll just quietly disappear him from the Survivor pantheon like they did that Brian Heidik soft-core porn guy.

If it was a player JP didn't like, or if it was a woman who was the "leak" this is what they'd do. But, Probst had that interview with Russell post ouster where he sounded like he wanted him back in a future all star type Survivor. IMO, they (CBS/MB/JP) want him to come back too much to sue him. I do think they will use this leak history to get him at a damaged goods "sale price".

Wonder why he said Jeff can keep his number, maybe he doesn't have high hopes for it?

The Reunion was classic Russell Hantz. He starts off gracious towards Rob and even a little humble. But like a Jack-in-the-Box when you crank the handle, his ego just cannot stay down. So, he went and made an ass of himself. AGAIN.

Russell, Brandon and Brandon's father Shawn are all tweeting like crazy, Brandon and his father attacking Russell at every turn, and vice versa. But, to make things even worse, Russell is tweeting with Evil Dick from "Big Brother" -- the two of them are talking about forming a team to compete on "The Amazing Raice" together. Yuck.

BTW, Shawn Hantz's Twitter home page says "Brother of Russell Hantz from Survivor, father of Brandon Hantz from Survivor, and star of upcoming show on A&E.". Any idea what A&E show he's talking about?

It's a show on A&E that was supposed to debut in late 2011, so they only have a few weeks left. Or it's been delayed or not happening.

I can't explain why this is so amusing to me - many celebrities use their real, proper names on Twitter - but it cracks me up that Russell's Twitter handle is "Russell Hantz", mostly because he uses his full name as punctuation a lot of the time. I'm picturing the South Pacific reunion show afterparty.

Coach: "Say, Russell, are you on Twitter? I tweet as 'the_real_coach'. Maybe you could tweet as 'russell_from_survivor'."
Russell: "Why would I do that? AH'M RUSSELL HANTZ!"
Cochran: "Coach actually has a point. I tweet as 'SurvivorCochran'. It makes it easier for people who know you from Survivor to find you."
Russell: "EVERYBODY watchin' Survivor knows my name. AH'M RUSSELL HANTZ!"
Tyson is there for some reason: "I know what you mean, Russell. I tweet by my real name, too."
Russell: "Yeah, but nobody even remembers you. AH'M RUSSELL HANTZ! Do you think people on Twitter don't know that AH'M RUSSELL HANTZ?!"

Saw an ad for Russell's new show on A&E while watching Storage Wars Texas last night and screamed out loud in horror. Who had the idea that (a) ANYONE ever wanted to see that litte monster again on their TV and (b) WTH does he know about flipping homes? thought he was an oil equiment mogul? And did I see Brandon Hantz in the ad also or possibly his father since they look so much alike and are both insufferable. Definitely a family trait. At least it looks like we will get to see some of the women in their family as I am curious who could put up with them.

I'll be watching this show. Russell is a tragically flawed Survivor player, but as someone to watch on my television, he's a star. I don't know what it is about him - he's just got a watchable, compelling quality. There are plenty of jerks on TV, but Russell is so good at it. I would love to see him in just about any non-strategy-game context.

I would not. Because he's not watchable. He's not entertaining. He's just an unpleasant sight on every single level. So count me out.

Every time I see that stupid commercial with him saying if they don't sell the house quickly they're going to lose money, "...and I NEVER lose money," I have to add, "...except for three seasons on Survivor!"

Okay, I'm watching Russell's house-flipping show, and it's freaking me out. He's being just as much a stupid jackass as he was on Survivor. (Previews suggest that he shoves a cop later in this episode, for example.) But he's...talking differently. He's calmer. His trademark Russell cadence? Nowhere to be found. Even his accent is basically MIA. If you told me this guy were from Vermont, I'd believe you. Like, he just said, "Me and my wife have been having problems ever since I got back from Survivor." As opposed to, "Me? And MAH wife? Have been HAVIN' PROBLEMS! Ever since AH GOT BACK FROM SURVIVOR! AH'M RUSSELL HANTZ! *eyes bug out*"

He sounds like somebody's accountant, or like somebody's medicated him. I'm a little ashamed that I find his usual Russell schtick entertaining, but I kind of do. Okay - ten minutes in, this show has lost its viewer.

Yeah, I heard this morning. Hopefully, he's not as bad as Russell. Though with him in the house, I'm betting the women won't stand a chance.
