Matthew Morrison as Link Larkin, Jane Lynch in the 40 Year Old Virgin, and Jayma Mays has played a girl named Charlie twice, in Ugly Betty and Heroes. Where else have you seen the cast?

Lea Michele in Spring Awakening on Broadway (and off for years before that), Matthew Morrison in South Pacific & Light in the Piazza at Lincoln Center.

Jenna Ushkowitz was also in Spring Awakening on Broadway, I believe as a member of the ensemble. I'm not sure if she was in it at the same time as Lea, who originated the role of Wendla (and was fantastic, I might add).

I do want to say how much I love the strong musical theatre presence not only in the premise but also in the stars! It really lends authenticity to the show. And excites proud musical theatre geeks (gleeks?) like myself.

Lea and Jenna did do SA together for a while towards the end of Lea's run.

Lea and Jenna have known each other since they were 8 years old - the Broadway community is a small group.

Lea has been in Les Miz, Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof and of course SA.

Jenna was in the King and I and SA.

And yes kudos to using show tunes.

Cory Monteith was Cheatin' Charlie Tanner in the first season of "Kyle XY." I also saw him recently as a shoplifting movie star on "The Assistants," a sitcom about 20-somethings working entry-level jobs on a studio lot, airing on The N (soon to be re-branded TeenNick). And, he popped up as the "younger, edgier version" of Ben Browder's character, Col. Mitchell, on the 200th episode of "Stargate SG-1" (titled, conveniently, "200").

Jayma Mays was in "Pushing Daisies," Dianna Agron was in "Heroes," Patrick Gallagher has a recurring role in "True Blood," Iqbal Theba was in "Chuck," and of course Jessalyn Gilsig was in "Boston Public," "Nip/Tuck," and "Friday Night Lights."

As much as I love Jane Lynch on this show, I'm pissed at Fox for forcing her to leave "Party Down."

And this isn't Jane's first time as a faculty member -- she was a HS teacher in the X-Files episode "Lord Of The Flies", one of the worst episodes in the show's history.

Jessalyn Gilsig was also on Heroes as Claire's biological mother that could manipulate fire.

Jane Lynch was awesome in Party Down on Starz playing a struggling actress that was a Cater Waiter. I'm happy she got this role but I will miss her on Party Down.

I was thinking Mercedes Jones was played by this actress, who I knew from 2001's Lovely & Amazing. I see now that I'm wrong, and this is pretty much Amber Riley's first credit.

In the casting sessions video that was on hulu Amber said she was cast in Sister Sass which was a Ryan Murphy production. He was surprised when he saw her at the audition cause he didn't know she could sing.

Did he play the brother that was taken by the wendigo?

This article linked in the Puck thread says that Kevin McHale (Artie) was the delivery guy that Micheal held hostage in the Launch Party episode of The Office. I never would have recognized him.

I've seen Matt Morrison in Hairspray, Light in the Piazza, South Pacific, and the off-Broadway show One Million Miles, which was based on the music of Patty Griffin. And he briefly played Adam Munson on As the World Turns. (He was replaced in that role by Matt Cavenaugh, who's now playing Tony in West Side Story).

Jane Lynch has been in almost everything! She's great in all the Christopher Guest movies. She also just played Julia Child's sister in Julie & Julia - it took a few minutes before I recognized her with red hair.

I've been wondering if the character name Sandy Ryerson is a shout-out to Groundhog Day, in which Stephen Tobolowsky's character's name was Ned Ryerson.

Jane Lynch was also the hilarious founder of Sturdy Wings, the mentorship program Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott are forced into to avoid prison in last year's Role Models, which I just watched last night as a matter of fact. Love her demented and repeated mentions of her past as a drug whore.

Jayma Mays' first feature film role was as Rachel McAdams' high-end hotel assistant in Wes Craven's 2005 airline-based thriller Red Eye, which I thought was one of Craven's better films. Plus Jayma pops up as a nurse in Flags of Our Fathers, and was the female lead in both Epic Movie and Paul Blart: Mall Cop, neither of which I've seen, thank God.

Jayma Mays was adorable as ever as Coat Check Girl in the episode Okay Awesome of How I Met Your Mother.

When was Dianna Agron on Heroes? That makes it four Heroes alumni in the cast, I think?

Season 2 for about 6 episodes. She plays the evil head cheerleader Debbie Marshall at Costa Verde High. (I guess she just has that vibe?)

Yes, that does make 4 Heroes Alums. Jessalyn Gilsig (Meredith Gordon), Jayma Mays (Charlie Andrews), Dianna Agron (Debbie Marshall), Stephen Tobolowsky (Bob Bishop)

Also keep an eye out on the new season of Heroes for Jayma Mays. She reprises her role of Charlie Andrews in Episode 8 "Once Upon a Time in Texas" (set to air in November of 2009) as Hiro goes about on time traveling journey.

In addition to Chuck, as already mentioned, Iqbal Theba also guested on Friends in the episode where Phoebe gives birth to her brothers triplets. He plays the doctor who diagnoses Joey with "Kidney Stones!!"

My mother's been raving about Jane Lynch's performance in Julie and Julia as Julia Childs' sister, and the completely believable goofy sisterly relationship she and Meryl Streep have.

Nah, just a bunch of singers and dancers. A couple of kids from SYTYCD are in there.

Jane Lynch was hilarious (as usual) in an ep from the first season of Weeds as an exercise-nut weed dealer known as the Candyman.

Does anybody know where I can find a list of the singers/dancers who make up Vocal Adrenaline? I'm sure they were different people in the two eps they've been in it, but I'd like to see a list, if there is one.

Lea won an award for narrating a short - here is the trailer.

She looks great in the Sari.

The award was best nonscripted host from NY tv festival.
