Shaun Micallef deserves a freaking Logie. Well, one that he won't give away as a prize, I mean. "This is a game show on Channel Ten. If your answers are Andy Warhol and Liechtenstein you're probably on the wrong show." It's about time someone took the piss out of smarmy game show hosts, and he's just the man to do it.
And it's weird that even though you know everything before the final game is pointless, it's still a helluva lot of fun to watch.

Did they change the rules to the "every team gets its own set of questions" round? Not only did it feel like there were fewer questions than usual, I thought it used to be two points off for a wrong answer, but only one point for a correct one. Now it's two? When did that happen? Or is it because nobody ever did well at that game?
Plus, were there seven items that shouldn't have been in the beach scene, instead of the usual six -- didn't crotch-high bathing suits for women come after 1950?

And the "crow". Brilliant. But did I miss it, or wasn't there a "May I Have The End-Game Envelope Please?" rant? They just went from "it's in the letter held by this old lady" to her bringing it over. Shame.

Amanda Keller seems to be doing a lot more of the comedic heavy lifting this year, that previously fell more on Charlie's shoulders. She's doing it extremely well though...some weeks she's been the only highlight of the show!
I can't help but wonder whether this is tied into the fact that Charlie seems less focused and more distracted than he did last year (pulling double duty on The 7PM Project after all), and also that he has had some extremely dud partners so far. Natalie Bassingthwaite was awful with her giggling, Jolene Anderson and Kate Ritchie were just non-entities, and even Ronan Keating seemed totally out of it last week. Perhaps things will improve.
Josh Thomas' performance has also improved, mainly through a better balance between the contrived hopelessness where he "surprisingly" turns the tables on Shaun and those glorious moments where his face falls totally blank and you know he genuinely has no idea. And his accidential destruction of the studio light was probably the moment of the week in the last episode.
As for the end game clue envelopes, I think they are relying a little too much on the panda now. Where's Isabeau the ladyhawk?

And a week without iChronoloco! just isn't a good week, really. Now with added perviness!

"I'm sorry, I don't know Jeannie. I've never even seen Bewitched!" So hilarious.
The maze was kind of a letdown, though.

That was perhaps the best episode in this show's history. And it didn't even have Chronoloco!
