I'm not a Baldwin fan but I like that Daniel was tough and gave Janice a hard time. At least he was competitive, shame he wasn't given a chance.

Perhaps, viewers voted based on his past appperances on other "reality" shows.
Wonder how the future voting will effect all other "reality-show" celebs.
Read rumoUrs that Speidi that return to boost ratings.

ROFLMAO when she was told she was safe and she was like, "ARE YOU KIDDING!?!!??!?"
Oh, well. Didn't like D. B. much anyway. Just sat around and smoked all day, from what I saw.

the wee one!
But boo to America for voting Daniel out. And a bigger boo for keeping Janice in.

And who else thinks that it's totally unfair for her to even remain in the game? If she is that freakin' sick, she should go home.Who else is totally disappointed we can't vote to send Janice to the "Tunnel of Terror"?????
I was also floored at the vote. DB kept things interesting.
I want to marry Lou and adopt Sanjaya.

Janice's shout-outs during the semi-live portions of the show were sickening. How much of a famewhore is this woman? It's one thing to call out a family member's name but to yell out Perez Hilton's name is not desperate but also revoltingly shameless.
Sorry to see Daniel go. The guys had to start dropping out at some point so he would have been my choice to be the first of them to leave.

The Holly/Sanjaya romance? Cute! I don't know where Sanjaya stands in terms of his sexual preferences, but he and Holly are all sorts of adorable together. Even if they're just really good friends and nothing more, I don't think I'd mind watching this play out until the end of the season. I did have to do kind of a double take when I heard Janice mention Holly saying that Sanjaya's the sexiest man alive. Really? He's cute, sure, but the sexiest man alive? Heh.
It took me awhile but I truly believe these celebrities are actually in the jungle and not on some soundstage. Those bug bites are freaking atrocious. Sanjaya's back looked like a war zone. It's nice of the producers to provide everyone with those stickers to ward off the mosquitos and citronella spray. Stephen and Sanjaya singing about the citronella had me cracking up.
I'm enjoying this show more and more with each episode. What's wrong with me?
I think they all realized it was Janice and also realized that there was no use in pushing the issue with her. She was going to deny, deny, deny and nothing was going to get solved. Instead of turning it into a big fight, I think everyone probably just agreed to let it go.The granola bar mystery fizzled out pretty quickly. I don't know if those celebrities are simply stupid or apathetic.

I thought John Sally should have gone home this time--he seems to really be losing his patience with Janice and he takes losing the challenges too seriously.

I read that when the producers were looking for contestants, they offered a certain amount of money if the "celebrity" agreed to stay for one week and more money if they agreed to stay for 3 weeks.Wow! Didn't see this "celeb" being voted out.
I wasn't sure if what I read was true, but now I realize that it certainly could be. Daniel has a pregnant wife at home and he may have wanted some easy money for one weeks appearance. There is no way America voted him out, he wasn't boring and could be very witty in his interviews.
Which means the whole show is a sham, but I knew that from the first season, when Melissa Rivers managed to stay until the very end.

I, too, am shocked that Daniel was voted out tonight. If for nothing else he and Janice really brought the entertainment. But really we still have John Salley to pick at Janice he is just a bit nicer about it. :)
I can't figure out if Janice is genuinely this crazy or is doing it for the shock factor because the producers told her to????

Eh, I dunno. I mean, it's difficult to gauge what kind of criteria the audience is using when voting on who to keep. If I had to guess, I would say that it was Daniel's nonexistent fanbase that's to thank for him getting eliminated. The rest of the folks there have backers. Holly has the MTV crowd, Torrie has the wrestling crowd, John has the basketball crowd, etc. The only thing I could even remember Daniel being in was Celebrity Rehab and he certainly wasn't lovable there. I don't think the voting on this show's a sham. Daniel went home because no one voted to keep him. There is no way America voted him out, he wasn't boring and could be very witty in his interviews.
How uncomfortable was that encounter between Janice and Patti back by the confessionals? Janice approaches Patti to comfort her and Patti is like, "I really don't want to talk about this right now." And Janice is like, "you're just going to cut me off?" And Patti is like, "yea, pretty much." And then there was the awkward hug at the end. I kind of feel bad for Janice even though I know she's at fault for the position that she's in. I don't think she's truly a terrible person, she's just... insane. She has no social skills and it shows.

I'm just speculating that there was no need for a fan base, since he may have agreed to only a one week stay. Perhaps people who have no careers, like Patti, the wrestling lady and Sanjaya, may have signed on for the full season.Eh, I dunno. I mean, it's difficult to gauge what kind of criteria the audience is using when voting on who to keep. If I had to guess, I would say that it was Daniel's nonexistent fanbase that's to thank for him getting eliminated.
I always thought Sanjaya was gay... perhaps he likes Holly because she is close to his age... and not in a romantic way?

It's too bad about Daniel. First Frangela, now him. Who else will bring the saracasm to the confessionals?
And the comments about Janice being too sick to do the challenges, I agree. If she's too sick to do it, then for her own well being shouldn't she be at home getting treated to get better?

I try not to label people because I know that assumptions can often be wrong, but yea, I always thought he was gay too. Whatever the case may be with him though, I find his relationship (be it just a friendship or something romantic) with Holly to be awesome. I loved that he braided her hair for her, though that doesn't scream heterosexual to me. It'll be interesting to see where this all goes and if one will be able to get along without the other should the audience vote one of them off.I always thought Sanjaya was gay... perhaps he likes Holly because she is close to his age... and not in a romantic way?
As others have mentioned, there's no possible way this show is going to end on the 23rd at the rate that they're eliminating celebrities. There's going to need to be a mass exodus next week in order to whittle the group down to two or three players for the viewers to vote on at the end. It simply doesn't make sense otherwise.

How uncomfortable was that encounter between Janice and Patti back by the confessionals?
That's because Janice has no boundaries and always expects to get her own way. She should have shut the F up, and let Patti carry on without crying. Instead, she made it all about her again. Patti has every right to say "no thanks, not right now", which the other person should accept. It's not all about every person dissing poor misunderstood Janice.
Plus it's past time that MS Supermodel went home if she gets a pass on a challenge that's not till next week. Kick her nasty butt to the curb, already! She's so overripe with venom that its seeping out her pores and orifices. I think I'll just start out-screaming her every tieme she's on screen so I don't have to listen to her drivel.

Daniel, who was playing for his mother's charity, clearly wanted to be there for the long haul. Remember the whole "final 4" bs he was talking when he first entered the camp, saying Sanjaya could get a comfy seat and watch him, his brother, John, and Lou in the final? I thought that was funny at the time because it suggested Daniel hadn't a clue as to the actual strategy of the game. This is a show that has everything to do with getting people motivated enough to call in and vote for you and very, very little to do with being a good gamer or even, as Janice has proven, actually participating in any challenges at all. My feelings about Janice pretty much mirror Daniel's, but the way Daniel expressed that was probably a turn off to most potential voters.
As for built-in fan bases, I don't think Daniel's was any smaller to start with than Torie's, John's, or Patti's. His combative style, though, probably significantly limited the number of "new" voters he drew in.

I'm thrilled she didn't think it was funny because there's nothing funny about her except her surgically distorted face which reminds me of a bug on a windshield.
That comment is funny and true. Maybe that's why she "bugs" me.
I was disappointed that Daniel was the one to leave. I got a kick out of the Baldwin brothers sniping at Janice. I scattered my votes around for everyone, but Janice. So I am one who did vote for Daniel. I agree if Janice has a medical condition that's bad enough not to participate in competitions, she should be sent home. I was all geared up to vote for her to be in the next competition.

What's Homicide? Heh.What you don't think there are lot of old school Homicide fans out there watching this show? The only thing I could even remember Daniel being in was Celebrity Rehab and he certainly wasn't lovable there.
Torrie, John, and Patti had an extra week and a half to build a fan base whereas Daniel came in fresh and facing the vote. I can't help but feel like Daniel and Holly should have been exempt from the vote this week (Holly especially since she didn't get to compete in the immunity trial). Either way though, it's probably better that he went home this week considering he has an 8-month pregnant wife at home. He made some money for his mother's charity and a put a little money in his own pocket. That's probably good enough. As for built-in fan bases, I don't think Daniel's was any smaller to start with than Torie's, John's, or Patti's. His combative style, though, probably significantly limited the number of "new" voters he drew in.
Even if she was eligible and was chosen, she simply would have refused to do it anyway. I'm wondering if that's why the "medics" decided she couldn't participate in the next trial. Instead of saying she's fine and eligible to compete and risking the audience voting for her and then having her quit, take her out of the running with the bronchitis excuse and give another more willing celebrity a shot. She may be truly sick but, I kinda don't think so anymore.I was all geared up to vote for her to be in the next competition.

Do you mean she would refuse initially? Do the rules allow that? Or do you mean she would do like she has in the competitions she has agreed upon and then give up?

I am in love with LDP. I want him to adopt me.
I am reluctantly liking Holly. She appears to be such a nice girl, but any time she's been on The Hills I have HATED her. The last time I saw her she was drunk and throwing food around the table at Spiedi's wedding rehearsal dinner. I shouldn't have just admitted that I watch that show...
Why on earth was Janice yelling about Prop 8?
This woman disgusts me in ways I can't even explain. I have a feeling that her "Prop 8" shoutout was not genuine, rather just her way of trying to cinch the gay votes. I'm not sure she realizes that she is disliked by MANY types of people.Janice's shout-outs during the semi-live portions of the show were sickening. How much of a famewhore is this woman?
