I am starting to wish that Sookie and Pam would have themselves a romance so Pam would get more story. Either that or she should have her own spin-off show. Called "Pam".

"You have vampire in your cleavage"...Pam rocks!

I especially loved her wearing sunglasses on top of her head...AS IF!

Maybe we can rename this thread to: "Pam: Deadly in Pastels" or "Pam: Deathly Preppy"??

Or maybe: "Pam: Abercrombie & Bitch"

(Bitch in a good, snarky way!)

Or a title that incorporates so many aspects of the lovely Pam's personality, including the fashionista: "Pam: It's All in the Vault"

I love Pam's anachronistic high-pitched giggle whenever Eric says something dryly amusing in his low, deep voice. They make such a such great (non-romantic) pair. If she was turned during Victorian or Edwardian times, and brought up to be a lady, her little laugh is like the polite, society-woman laugh bestowed upon gentlemen companions when they say something that delights her.

I'm dying to get backstory on this girl (or current story, anything). I like the idea of her as a Victorian lady who's gone all dark as a vamp (because duh) while keeping that giggle from her polite society days. And truly she gets all of the best lines.

Was she included in the books at all? If so feel free to PM me with some general stuff book readers.

Pam is definitely in the books and CH goes briefly into her backstory, too.

This is what got me the most above any of her perfect lines. That laugh. Her perfect little chuckle and glance at Eric before Bill chided her for being up Eric's backside. Which she snickered that it was a good place to be (I agree). She has the right amount of sarcastic reserve with a pinch of evil.

It was a musical, practiced laugh, and Pam is so composed in her facial expressions. Definitely remnants from her corset-and-fan days. My mother's always complaining about how I laugh too freely and too loudly for a well brought up girl - I bet she'd approve of Pam.

Girls are not supposed to laugh freely? Rats, I missed yet another memo.

I was noticing how Pam introduced Ginger in this bored, perfunctory rap - "SookieGingahGingahSookie" - and then Eric did it later with Bill and Chow, and I think that basically, Pam imitates Eric. How cute is that? She totally looks up to him, and not just literally with his being 10 feet taller.

I love Pam. I knew I would as soon as I saw who was portraying her. Loved her trench dress and the scarf over her elastic.

I own the khaki/cable knit pink sweater outfit so I wore it to work to celebrate on Mon.

Also loved her pose when the trio was waiting for Bill/Sookie to stop slobbering.

Pam always seems to be in control of herself no matter the situation. She has the same type of "stillness' in her scenes that Bill has -- I can't wait for a scene in which she lets it rip! I'd love to see her with Jason as her boy toy, while she's wearing one of her black dominatrix outfits!

I was pulled completely out of the scene saying "What the hell is Pam wearing?" She totally kills me though.

I'm already a fan of Pam, but the utterly dismissive and annoyed eye roll she gave when Eric and Bill did their "whose fangs are bigger" bit has endured her to me forever.

I thought that outfit MADE the scene. It was SO incongruous in comparison to what she is, and her mannerisms that it totally rocked.

She is the single best character on the show.

Signing in on the Pam love. She is the perfect foil and an absolute scene stealer everytime she's onscreen -- which is not often enough. KB has chemistry with everyone. Her mannerisms and the way she delivers all of her lines are just perfect. And her latest outfit with the white pearls was just classic. The eye roll at Eric and Bill for their over-the-top machismo was a hoot.
Jessica though -- she must be some kind of annoying if she even got under Pam's skin!

I hope Pam gets a little romance next season....I'd love to see her work her wiles on Jason or even give Hoyt or Terry a love bite or two :-))

Her rocking Chanelesque suit aside, what made it from me was the oversized patent leather bag!

I rearranged the wording (sounds better now).

My impression is, Pam plays for the other team. For her to be on board with no more horny, cute Jessica, the annoyance factor must be truly out of this world.

I love Pam for wearing such an outfit, although I thought the outfit itself was hiddeous, it would not have looked good on anyone, anywhere. I loved the bag, I'm known for my giant bag's of crazy!

yes-love her wardrobe, even her pink cable knit sweater.

by the way-the trench dress is a DVF: was on sale last season at Bergdorf's. i actually tried it on but didn't go for it.

I hope we get to see the back story for Pam. I feel like they haven't really done anything to flesh out her character to this point. She has that serious southern belle accent, but she speaks Swedish/old norse/whatever Eric speaks, so I wonder about where she came from, how they met, how long they've been in Louisiana, etc.
