Canada's Worst Driver

Right off the bat, I think Ashley or (most likely) Ken will get booted from the show; both have serious attitude issues. That said, Ashley probably could get out normally if she fixes her attitude. Donna has some drunk issues that I hope they address, time iwll tell if the lessons will be learned. Lindsey has potential to leave eventually, she's the closest to a 'normal' contestant, same for Kurt and Amy. Emily needs more practice and training in general, same for Teagun.
And speaking of Teagun, Andrew let him drive his truck? *shudder* Was the windshield broken when Teagun got it? Cuz it looked broken at the bottom of the garage.
And man, putting them in a porsche for the first challenge. What were they thinking? *sob* that poor car. The experts were practically in tears I think....
Wooley probably wanted to arrest all 8 of the contestants based on that drive to Guelph. (Anyone know where they started from? I almost think it was Kitchener area or something). The 4 he isolated definitely deserved time in the slammer, even more than the few minutes they had.
After the first ep, I'd say Lindsay or Kurt will be the first to graduate. No way in hell will Wooley let any of the 4 special ones (Donna, Ashley, Ken and Teagun, and probably Emily) go early on.
And finally, Andrew's snark level was off the charts. After 3 Worst Drivers and 3 WOrst Handymen, he's pulling out all the stops this time.

Ashley scares me the most. Every so often You run across one of those vehicles in this town, and they always scare the crap out of me. There is very little you can do to damage one of those, so the drivers develop the attitude that the rules don't apply to them. Scary.

I would be terrified to do a Teagan wobble, especially in a high centre of gravity vehicle.
I do think it would be fun to do some of the challenges they have to do. :D
I totally love Andrew. His snark is the best on TV these days.

Teagan is scary... but I suspect he's about 75% inexperienced, 25% bad driver. Of the Big Bad 4, he'll probably be the first to leave, assuming he learns. I hope he can do some of the challenges off camera even after he graduates though.

As for Teagan, all he needs to do is learn not to panic and over-correct. He gets over that, and the wobble is gone.

(Anyone know where they started from? I almost think it was Kitchener area or something).
They started at the Duke Street Parking Garage. It is unusual enough to be used in commercials now, most recently an Audi commercial.

I've got no problem with Curt leaving first; he's still a bad driver, but compared to the rest he isn't the worst and he was showing signs of improvement. And I like Andrew's reasoning. Curt will still make small infractions, but will otherwise be fine. Amy is probably the better at the moment, but when she screws up, she screws up bad.
Teagun on the other hand *shudder* Andrew's poor truck.... He was pumping that brake pedal so fast it looked like he had his 4-ways on. If they can break him of his pump-habit, he will probably be fine but man, that boy's foot only has 2 positions: Off or Floored. (ok a 3rd one being between both pedals); no sense of in between at all.
The snark was strong tonight, Andrew standing next to the building during the laundry truck challenge with Donna driving there. Man....
Andrew: "Wait for it in 4... 3... 2...."
*BOOM*
Donna: "What did I hit?!"
Andrew: "Same thing you hit the last 4 times, Donna. The building."
Emily's the blind one this year, that's surprising. And Ken being colour blind was probably a pleasant surprise for the show producers.

I find the host is getting snarkier as he goes through shows - last season of worst handyman had some pretty good stuff, too.
Colour Blindness is actually really common in males - the current principal of my former high school is, and the teachers are always trying to mess with him on it.

I'm really curious about waht next weeks <TotalDramaIsland>Most Extreme Event Ev-vah!</TotalDramaIsland> will be and who will be the second expulsion ever. Of the crew so far, while they're bad, none of them seem unteachably bad yet. (Unlike a couple seasons back when that road racer just refused to learn)
Hmm... In order of who I expect to be booted though, I'd say Donna (she just can't seem to see the stop signs) is most likely, Teagun, Ashley and Emily equally likely as the next 3, but if it is Ashley it would be really disappointing, since she was so close to graduating this round.

I'm really loving that I can recognize everywhere they're driving. That red light that Donna blew on her way to the rehab centre? That red light takes FOREVARRRR to turn. Seriously. I almost don't blame her for running it. Almost.
Tell me about it. And it takes just as long at 4 am as it does during daylight...
Although I really dislike Wooley, as well - something about him just rings very false and very judgemental.
ETA: I think what kind of irks me is that they know these people are unsafe drivers, and yet rather than tag the vehicles in some way visible to other drivers (They have dots on top, if you'll notice, so the cameras can follow them), as they're forced to do with driver's ed, they instead plop them on roads that, oh, everybody else is driving. I consider this programme essentially driver's ed, and the drivers are even more twitchy because they know they're on camera.

At least they gave her a cozy ride home. :)

Personally, I'm glad she's off the road (or at least legally off the road; I'm sure she's probably still driving). She didn't show any signs of improving really.
If she wasn't sent off this week, I think it may have been Lindsey who would have left this week, but I'll have to watch again to be sure. (Was distracted with raids in EQ to pay attention to what was going on past the teetertotter stage.)

That being said - THIS PARTICULAR attack may have had less to do with the stress of driving than the shock of having cold water dumped all over her. Hearts can react poorly to fast temperature changes, and cause all kinds of issues - the aforementioned mother isn't even supposed to enter an air conditioned building at full charge during the summer.
I thought it was sweet of them to give her a limo ride out. I also think they did a good job in trying to *show* her how bad she was at driving in general - giving her all the evidence, rather than just stating "we think you suck". Moreover, I think that her son simply doesn't want the hassle that he KNOWS is going to happen - he's going to be driving her around and Hyacinthed to death. (Although I think it's going to be less "mind the pedestrian, Richard" and more "why are we waiting here! you don't need to stop, it's just a red light!"... and in that voice. *shudder.*) My partner suggested that rather than renting a limo, however, they should have gotten her a cab and a year's bus pass in sudbury.

I thought that it was a tight two-horse race with Teagen and Donna (though Emily was a strong dark-horse). Both of them absolulely were scary, though Teagen is just bad, bad nerves. But Donna just wasn't getting it. I honestly thought that she was sticking around on the show just to get a chance at a high-speed race. She would then pretend to get it long enough to get off the show, but.....
I never want to be on the road with her at all. I'm also glad that the show had the nerve to kick her off for her own safety & initializes the steps to get her off the road. Most reality shows would have kept her on, as she was a sure winner for the title. Good for the show to realize that some people just can't get it at all.
But the son is going to suffer for it. The son will be ferrying her around town all day long.
I think that Ashley is easily the next person out. After that, it's a crap-shoot. Lindsay is bad, but she is slowly getting it. She escapes leaving a Teagen, Emily and Amy final three. I think that Teagen has it in the bag now.

The show has had the courage to boot the truly incorrigible off before, like that Street Racer in CWD2. I was sure that what's her name in CWD3 was going to be booted off too at various points (I still think she should've been declared CWD though). It was refreshing to see the racer in CWD3 actually redeem himself and graduate (I think the producers were half hoping he would earn another boot like in 2.)
As for the remaining 5, I think the poster above called it. Over Andrew's I'm sure off-camera objections, there's another reason to keep Teagen on; he's the last man standing among 4 women, and I'm sure The Powers do NOT want to have an all-women Final 3 episode.

Here's the thing, though: if the worst 3 drivers just happen to be women, it would be wrong to vote one off just for the sake of PCness.

As for the drivers, I actually think that Ashley and Amy would have graduated if they didn't have their husbands along. It's temper management for both of them. Ashley should be out next week. She's so close.
I actually don't know now who is the second place winner for this show (Donna "IS" the winner). Teagan is the worst driver, but I could see it being Emily. I wonder how much she will improve with Glasses next week.

In any case, it was fairly clear this was the 'traditional' Non-elimination round.
I agree with teh poster's above. Ashley is still a dunce behind the wheel, but, as the snake showed, she's probably the best of the bunch. Amy also showed a lot of improvement just by not freaking out.
Emily, she's blind as a bat and Teagen just needs more practice... a LOT more practice. Next week should be interesting though.

Ashley did really good too, but her husband is a horrible passenger for her. I hope they can focus on that next episode for her.
Amy is still having a rough time but she's improving a lot... maybe not quite enough not to be worst but improving. I'm surprised one of the judges actually seemed to suggest her to be released.
Teagen is actually improving a bit as well, but not as much. He's got a LONG way to go. Doing that figure eight with the 4 other CWD's, I felt sorry for the ladies.
I think a lot will depend on what glasses for Emily does. She has 2 eps to show significant improvement.
Honestly, I'm not sure which of the bottom three will be the worst. Too many unknowns at the moment.

Ashley's in the top 3.... Ok, but she's not the worst driver by any stretch of the imagination. At least not compared to Emily and Amy. As the show pointed out, most of her issues come from the passenger seat. Glad Andrew tore into her husband like that, but I doubt it'll do much good in the end.
After seeing Emily with her glasses, there wasn't really much improvement, though she can finally see. And unlike the other contestants, she doesn't seem capable of learning for some reason. I wonder if there's a language issue somewhere? Having her husband and Andrew and the trainers and so forth yelling at her in her not-primary language can't be helping.
Of the Top 3, my guess:
Worst: Emily. Glasses didn't help enough.
Second worst: Amy: She's shown significant improvement, but still has a way to go. If Teagen hadn't graduated, he would have been in this slot.
Third: Ashley. Kick her husband out and she would probably have left a few episodes ago.

Taeolos, I almost agree. It's Amy worst, Emily second and Ashley third. Amy nerves are worse than Emily bad eyesight. Ashley isn't in their category.
Donna still won it all, though.
