Eileen in Brooklyn: Anything you can tease about True Blood, like who is Sookie going to choose, Bill or Eric?
How about…neither? "We call it season of the bromance," sexy star Alexander Skarsgård told us at a presser for his new movie Battleship. "We just started [filming] and we're on episode four of season five. I have a lot with Steve [Stephen Moyer] this year," he said, quipping, "Eric is very intrigued by Bill now." Honestly, we're Team Eric no matter whom he hooks up with (especially if he's nekkid)! TV's Top Couple round two, y'all?

Source e! online

He may just be the creepiest member of True Blood’s Vampire Authority -- because he looks harmless, but is quite the opposite.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Jacob Hopkins has landed the recurring role as the final member of True Blood’s highest vampire governing body, the Vampire Authority.

Hopkins plays Alexander Drew, one of the Authority's chancellors who was turned to darkness at the age of 9-years-old. Alexander is described as an impetuous vamp who likes to taunt those around him.

He joins SVU star Cristopher Meloni, Spartacus actor Peter Mensah, and General Hospital and Cougar Town actress Carolyn Hennesy on the Authority.

Gail in Canton, Ohio: Love all the True Blood spoilers you've been giving us! Any more?
Vampires will have something else to fear besides werewolves, the sun and silver in the upcoming season of True Blood. This new dude is way, way worse. He's…a redneck. And an anti-vampire one at that. This hunter will be a recurring character on T.B.'s new season, so he'll likely be raising all kinds of hell, like killing vamps and taking others prisoner. Want to hear the best part? His name is…wait for it…Joe Bob. You're welcome.

Meanwhile: Sookie’s vow for a life without vampires is put to the test; Lafayette struggles with his latest acquisition; Patrick calls in a favor from Terry, that will put his relationship with Arlene under pressure; Jessica takes a backseat, while Jason caters for anunwelcome house guest; Pam tries to make amends, and Bill and Eric plan their escape from the forces now pursuing them, but are soon drawn into a plot that will shatter the very foundations of the vampire hierarchy, and bring them face to face with their deadliest enemy.

I wonder what Patrick has been up to since the war and whether or not this favor has something to do with it.

episode 5.04, We’ll Meet Again.

In episode four we’re finally going to learn what happened to Terry back in ’03 when he was serving in Iraq—and believe us when we say it’s going to be intense. In a flashback to 2003, we’ll see his squad head out for a night of partying and mischief that goes tragically awry

Judging only by his posttraumatic stress disorder, this episode is going to be a must see.

From A True Blood Wedding

Violet in Seattle, Wash: Please tell me you've got something on True Blood? Maybe who Sookie is going to end up with?!
True Blood is on its way this summer and we've just gotta say, there's nothing like a southern wedding: the birds are chirping, the heat is overwhelming, and the vampires are crashing your rehearsal dinner. To answer your burning question: Yes! There is going to be a wedding. And there is going to be karaoke at the dinner!

I'm thinking its too soon for Sookie & Eric's wedding, but then again this show is known for its fast pace and I don't see any couple ready to marry at this point.

What's coming up on True Blood this season? — Gina
NATALIE: The fifth season will feature a flashback to the 1930s that will show us the fate of Bill's daughter Sarah (aka Portia Bellefleur's great-great-great-grandmother — ick). Appropriately, Bill Compton himself — that is, Stephen Moyer -- is stepping behind the camera to direct the episode.

From Ask Ausiello

Question: OK, I’m dying here. Can I please have some True Blood scoop! —Mariamne
Ausiello: Ever wonder what an eight-pack looks like on a teenager? There’s a good chance you’ll find out in this season’s ninth episode, titled “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” which introduces us to an “innocent-faced” 14-year-old Alcide. That flashback sequence also features a young Debbie, so my guess is we’ll probably see how that toxic relationship of theirs took shape. Speaking of TB, the show is also casting a Marilyn Manson-esque vampire who was once powerful and heroic but is now a sad old man.

Teen Wolf Alert!

Kim: Can't wait for True Blood to start! Any good intel?
Ever wonder what a teenage Joe Manganiello looked like? We like to imagine tall, ripped and gorgeous, but we digress. The True Blood casting department will have their hands full looking for someone to play a 14-year-old Alcide for a flashback this season. In addition to our fave werewolf, we can't wait to see a young and innocent Debbie Pelt (Brit Morgan) appear before V addiction, motorcycle gangs of werewolves, paranoia and jealousy took over.

Underworld alert?!

Liz in Costa Mesa, Calif.: True Blood is the best part of the summer, so I'll need to know what to expect in the new season.
First of all, in case you haven't heard, True Blood's new season starts on June 10, so mark it on your Alexander Skarsgård-themed calendars. As for that to expect, we've met all different kinds of vampires in four seasons of True Blood, but in the new season T.B. will introduce us to a type of vamp we've never met before. We can't reveal more than that, but we can tell you that this character is described as strong and cocky, and they'll be around for more than one episode.

Tbfansource: Anything about True Blood?
A professor, two rednecks and an Authority guard all walk into a bar. It may sound like the beginning of a joke, but the True Blood team is on the lookout for just those characters. We are most intrigued by the Authority guard who is sent to pick up a vampire's progeny and escort her someplace. Jessica in danger perhaps?

Question: Do you have any True Blood scoop? The wait is seriously killing me! —Nishens

Ausiello: Terry will spend much of the season on the road with his ex-military buddy Patrick (Scott Foley). “Most of the time we are out in the greater 50 states tracking down other members of our platoon trying to get some closure to this event that happened over in Iraq,” reveals Foley of the duo’s hush-hush storyline, which required “a lot of running and fighting and jumping. There’s a lot of physicality.” Speaking of True Blood, have you seen these?!

I want to see Eric and his vampire sister get it on, in that little clip we saw in the S5 promo, when Eric grabbed Nora and gave her a very unbrotherly kiss on the mouth, those two had more chemistry then the boring Eric/Sookie love scenes.

Suzylem: I know the new season of True Blood has not started yet, but any word on what is coming up?

"They just released the new trailer, and there's some crazy stuff," Joe Manganiello says. "The million-dollar question is always, 'Is Alcide going to hook up with Sookie?'" So, you know, is he? Joe would only give a big smile. Translation: Duh. And yes, Joe is totally down with Alcide becoming a dad if that's how the HBO hit decides to handle Anna Paquin's real-life pregnancy. "I will say that I'm the only character on the show that can get her pregnant, so if they have to with it, there's kind of only one way you can go!"
