On the whole, a very enjoyable episode. I'm really looking forward to how it goes down between Nancy, Guillermo and Esteban. Plus seeing Lupita, Marvin and Sanjay again was such a treat! I hope they stick around for a while.

I'm glad Nancy's getting back in the game, the maternity thing was gonna get boring easily.

Funny, interesting episode, with some decent plot development, both good and bad.

• Nancy's old crew drops by, nice to see Marvin dropped 10 pounds. It shows!
• Celia and Isabelle, getting along like usual. More Xanax!
• Captain Till drops charges against Celia, turns down her drink invite cause he's involved - With his male underling
• Guillermo turns Nancy to move some weed sp Nancy tracks down Esteban, gets spanked, and gets her product.
• Doug joins the Minutemen to help further his and Andy coyote business.

Damn, that episode was crazy. I enjoyed it but did feel like they tried to pack a little too much in...Which is why this show needs to be more than 27 minutes.

LOVED the scenes with Celia and Isabelle. Their relationship is just so fabulous and twisted. And EP never fails to be hilarious. Loved the shout out to the Joker :)

LUPITA! OMG I was so happy to see her. And Marvin and CLinique and Sanjay. So glad they reintroduced some of those characters!

The Mayor spanking Nancy was hilarious. I think he's ridiculously hot. But she is stupid to cross Guillermo. THat look Guillermo gave her was purely sinister at the end. I don't think she realizes who she is fucking with. I get the feeling that he's actually a lot more dangerous than U-Turn ever was.

I loved the little montage with the Mountain Goats song. Sort of a celebration of non-traditional love, or the need for human connection maybe. Till and his partner (they were wearing rings, I noticed), Silas and the older woman (Lisa?), The Minute Man and his body builder, Doug and Maria, Nancy and the drug-dealing yet humanitarian mayor...All totally out of the realm of what is considered "normal" but all the more moving because of it. This show, even at its most absurd and outrageous, is really fundamentally about the loneliness and alienation of the characters, for me at least. You can't ever truly hate any of them despite their innumerable flaws because they are so vulnerable and lost at times.

ETA: MLP is ridiculously, ridiculously beautiful. I want to know how she keeps getting more so as she gets older!

Silas is extremely hot, which disturbs me as I think I'm older than cheese lady. Loved seeing old faces, and minuteman was a hott. The show is indeed, so, so wrong that it struck me as nothing so much as a live action "South Park," redeemed by superb casting/writing/acting. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Just felt like I needed to take a shower after this episode. I think Nancy is an adrenaline junkie, she's not happy unless she's really living on the edge of danger. Her family is not at the top of her list because Shane obviously is crying out for help and no one is there to give it to him. I guess Nancy is the mother of all MILFs with Shane using her photos as his favorite masturbation mementos.

Loved the montage of all the loving going on with the various players. When did Silas become so skilled in the love arts? Maybe all that practice with his deaf mute girlfriend has paid off. Roy Till who whudda thunk it? He sure seemed happy with his fellow cop and good for him.

Something tells me that Guillermo is not taking it too well that Nancy is bucking the chain of command and going to Mayor Spankey to get her product. This show is taking a much darker turn this season than the previous ones.

Ok so continuity problems here, campers. Clinique "mercy fucked" Sanjay sometime immidiatly after Shane graduated. ( Jr High, I assume) So lets call it June, then there was summer school, ( July) then there was fire season, ( Aug/ Sept) the kids still aren't in school yet, So is it really NINE months later (FEBRUARY) and Nancy & Celia just haven't gotten around to putting the kids in school yet, or is it the end of summer & Clinique somehow gestated this child in three months? ( or is it not Sanjays baby - but whats's the point of that?) Seriously pick a time line & stick with it writers!

And what happened to Silas's car anyhow? No 17 year old just leaves his car to the firestorm.

Marvins obviously lost more than 10 pounds. ( but hey " back to my high school wieght" hee!)

The Silas/Lisa sex is both hot & disturbing. I'm wondering how old they are going to say she is (actress is 38, Hunter is 21) A 28 year old mom I could believe doing this a lot easier than a 38 year old mom. ( I'm a 43 year old mom, I don't find my nieghbors 17year old attractive). The sex scenes in this show are always so abrupt, and they never happen in beds. I was woried about them doing it in the cheese shop, unhygenic and uncomfortable. Plus she had a handful of toothpicks! ( Yikes!) As much as I enjoy Silas's ass, it would have been more believable/ interesting to watch him court her for a while while she tries to justify the whole thing.

I floved seeing Nancy's old "contacts" although that scene made me miss Conrad more than ever. I hope he shows back up again at some point during this series. Marvin cracked me up so much I almost forgot that he is the one who finally snuffed out U-Turn. Not that I am complaining.

Just when I began to think that poor Shane was finally getting some balance in his life/psyche an episode like this came along. Frankly I would have rather seen Isabelle "enjoying" herself to Nancy's old pictures, and trust me that is not a scene I wished for but it would have been less disturbing than what we got. It is a good thing that Nancy is back to making some loot because Shane has many years of intensive therapy ahead of him.

Silas and the MILF were hot. Then again I have been digging Silas this season and it is not just the haircut. At least I hope not; am I that shallow? He seems more mature and less of of a douche these days.

Roy Till? That was a surprise but a fun one.

I am so glad that Isabelle is back. Celia and her youngest daughter really balance each other out in a highly dysfunctional but engaging way.

Andy and Doug's adventures aren't too exciting but since I recently had to read "Enrique's Journey" for a class I hope that something informative, but not overly dull, comes out of this storyline.

I did not dig the spanking scene, if a man tried that with me it would be on and not in a good way, but the Mayor is kind of hot. Of course so is ( a slightly puffy) Guillermo and he did not look happy at the end of the episode. I can't wait to see how this plays out.

I didn't get why Nancy and Celia are supposed to be so poor. Didn't Guillermo let Nancy name her own salary? Why wouldn't he be paying her? And I know he told her that Celia got minimum wage, but I didn't think she would take that literally. She's being paid not only to work in the shop, but also to keep quiet about The Hole. So why isn't Celia demanding payment? I've definitely had enough of pathetic Celia. I want to see her do something more than whine about her life and hit on extremely unattractive gay men. Give her a story, writers!

I would like the MILF storyline if there were an actual storyline.

It's weird that Andy has suddenly become the most likable character on the show for me.

I thought there were some great Celia moments in the episode, like in the Pharmacia and with Captain Till. I think Captain Till really does want Celia in that way, but he had to rebuff her in front of his gay lover. Otherwise the show has been really dishonest with the viewers in the past with Captain Till played as a guy who wanted a different kind of testimony from Celia. He seemed to be going through the motions when he was in bed, so I think his heart is with Celia.

I am not quite buying Shane at the end. I saw my mother naked by accident one time when I was about Shane's age and I am traumatized by the image to this day. I wonder if the pictures were real or Photoshopped? Just like there is an on-demand short about how the fake drugs are made, I want a featurette about the making of those pictures.

That's how I interpreted it...and his reaction to Isabelle's wanting the pictures. Nancy gives so much of her time and attention to everyone else, he wants something of her just for himself, and if they're dirty pictures, so be it. I thought it was incredibly sad, in addition to being disturbing.

Also, Guillermo looked so...odd. He had huge bags under his eyes, almost bruises...was there an implication that he got beat up or something? He definitely is not pleased - is he pissed or sad? It creeped me out a little.

I thought it was a reference to Barak Obama's "Yes We Can." Okay, that didn't make a lot of sense, but there was a politician featured and discussion of the hot political topic immigration.

Although I was glad to see a gay love scene on TV, I thought it was really random. If it comes back later as a storyline, fine. If not, was it just gratuitous? Roy Till doesn't need to be gay not to want Celia. The fact that she's mean and a little bent is reason enough.
