1 No Lynch (The Mad Maple), 4 to (no) lynch
Posted Jul 13, 2008 @ 4:32 PM
Well, ExamplePlayer has been acting suspicious, and based on his last couple of posts, I'm just going to vote: ExamplePlayer
Let's assume several others have voted, I'd post the votes on each page.
ExamplePlayer: (Player1, OtherPlayer, Third)
No Lynch: (The Fifth Voter)
Not Voting: Player 6, Player 7, Player 8
With 8 Players alive, it takes four to lynch
So you have to ask yourself: Why wandkat? Who would kill her?
Let's say I'm The Mad Maple. She could ask Abril why she isn't innocent. Abril would then have to explain why and provide an alibi (since you mentioned it) and convince others she is part of the town. Everyone is a suspect. Start asking eachother questions, and interrogate. There is a killer on the loose.

Does that mean the bad guys got to go first? I think that's what's throwing me off. When I've played, the good guys get to go first.

I say no lynch since we don't have anything to go on really. I didn't know the victim.

No Lynch: (zombygirl, ButterflyBandit)
Not voting: (The Mad Maple, CarsonMcKay, fay, bluejaylove, AbrilOrchid, Split Ends)
With 8 players alive, it takes 4 players to lynch (or no lynch).
Remember, if you vote, you can unvote, but if it hits 4, all decisions are final, and it goes to night.

(And don't we need a majority? That would be 5 out of 8, not 4.)

(BTW - I'm out of town until Monday. Don't ditch me for not posting, please!)

After the brutal murder of wandakat, the town was unable to charge someone with the crime, leading to no lynch. It is now night, and the murdererers are still on the loose.
At this time it's night again. Will the mafia please make your decision privately about who your second victim will be.
With none of the mafia caught, they got together again, and this time, they whacked off AbrilOrchid, who is now at the bottom of the bay, with cement on her feet. She has been drowned by the mafia. With two of your citizens brutally murdered by the organized crime, a vote has been put out to lynch another person.
It is now Day 2. This time, I would definitely lynch someone. You have already lost two players. If you want, you can vote no lynch, but I would definitely discuss things over. You have no deadline as of now, so take your time. Build a case against a player who you think is mafia (or if you are a mafia member, convince the town that another townie is actually mafia, or just follow the votes of someone you know isn't). With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch.

Murdererers! Now we're getting serious!
the murdererers are still on the loose.
I guess I vote lynch, but I have no idea how to build a case against someone. Unless my case is built much like my method of betting on greyhound races: picking names I like.

Maybe that'd make this run better if people were playing as other characters.
I don't know. If you'd like some examples of how I'm used to doing it, you can check out www.mafiaheaven.net ... It takes you to the arcade first, but, if you click home, it goes to the game forum. We'll have an archive up soon of our old games for ideas.

Frankly, I figured this thread would be doing the same thing, only with a wider pool of characters to choose from.

I thrive on my Google ability and must have stories with potential clues (which will always, in some way, point to GrannyApple, as is the law).
