Is she completely aware of the circumstances that can ensue from being a "high priced call-girl"?

I'm looking forward to the show solely because of Piper's performance. I think she's adorable and from the previews, Piper definitely aims to be enticing and versatile.

I think she's perfect in the role. Physically she's gorgeous but she also gives Hannah/Belle some depth as well. Not many actresses her age could do that.

Someone mentioned in the Ep 2 thread that some people who have seen BP in Doctor Who would find her difficult in this role. It was not the case for me because I've seen BP in many things since her role as Rose including the two Sally Lockhart movies and Mansfield Park. I think this is her best role since Rose S1. I think it's impossible to like this show if you don't find BP somewhat appealing physically or otherwise since it is character driven. She's really worked at this character more than any of the others I've seen in awhile.

I had never heard of her before this show, but I read in a magazine today that she had a hit song in England at age 15, married a DJ at age 18 who was 16 years older, and apparently is married again, all at the ripe old age of 25.

It's no wonder I thought she was at least 30 up until now. She comes across as much older than 25 on the show.

In terms of finding her appealing physically, her character is very well put-together in terms of hair, wardrobe, etc, but she doesn't really have a pretty or attractive face IMO.

I have a habit of finding "interesting" looking women sexy. The whole 'she's sexy and I can't quite explain why' factor is very high with her. She seems a little 'weathered' on here, where as Dr Who and it's soft lenses are better for her. I can see how her looks get polarizing opinions.

The thing about Billie Piper isn't that she's got stupendous looks, but rather that she's got a very formidable level of charisma. She can get away with imperfect features, and still COME OFF as if she's beautiful, because she's got something kind of magnetic about her.

I don't know. The more I watch the more I am convinced she's a butterface. Her facial features are very rodent-like. Nice hair and body though.
