I feel that Big John and his awesome awesomeness need their own thread.

He has to herd these dicksucker whorebags to and fro AND make sure no one rips off Bret's wig.

In the VSpot extras for the early "peep show" episode, there's a great clip (3 minute mark) where Bert summons the next contestant, the curtain shoots up, and there's Big John slapping his butt in nothing but a speedo. It's hilarious. You can hear the screams from the other room.

Bret: "My eyes, my eyes..."
Big John: "Oh yeah baby, I brought it!"

I dont feel like we have seen nearly as much of him this season as we did last. Quite a disappointment!

Anyone in need of a Big John fix should mosey over to the VH1 VSpot extras; I think there's a fair amount of his behind the scenes snark provided by Big John. I can't stand navigating that site, so I rarely utilize it, but I did watch one video where he weighed in on the ho-testants and it was hilarious!

For VSpot it's easiest to just go to the Rock of Love listing from the side menu. Every episode has an "extras" video, and the first segment is always an after show hosted by Big John. So you don't have to go exploring to get his commentary.

And, apart from the eye liner this season (not so sure about that), it's always worth it. In season one he regularly asked why Bret kept Lacey around, with refreshing aggravation.

I like Big John and all, but that eyeliner is horrific. I mean, this man is a Marine??? WTF? Can you imagine the man sitting in front of a mirror and applying all that eyeliner?

It's pretty evident the aftershow hosting by Big John (and Kristia & Branci C) are done all at once, for all episodes, in one long session rather than bring them back every week. They're always in the same clothes on the same set, and don't actually have that much to say each time.

My point being, I think this season's eye liner was something Big John went for that one time and now regrets. Much like his "zebra bandanna" from this season's Mud Bowl.

Thanks for the link to Big John in a speedo! He looked great and he has an awesome sense of humor. I love him so much. And he truly is sensitive--I heard somewhere that he is real hurt how the girls never say goodbye to him after they're eliminated, he said something like how on FOL they often say goodbye to Big Rick but never to him. What the hell is that about? Every time one gets eliminated I am always sitting there going, "Come on, say goodbye to John, say goodbye to John!" And he is such a MAN to show his true feelings and admit this hurts him! Makes me love him more and want to nurture his ass, esp in that speedo.

My biggest dream, which I posted on another thread already, is to have one of them say after they've been eliminated, "Yeah, I aint losing any sleep over this, Bret is fug, I really just came so I could bang Big John."

After two seasons of the crappola that is Bert, I would love to see a ROL3 with Big John. He might actually be up for the "Big Love" and he seems to have a filter for skanks. I would much rather see him than Bert, yet again. I do love my Bert, but enough already.

If anyone else agrees with me, maybe we should rock VH1 with our requests. Big John!

Big John fans will enjoy the new VH1 extra where he shows us around the tour buses. And unlike in the season 3 episodes so far he seems to be enjoying himself. His comfort item on tour is his USMC blanket, to remember his roots.
