You live on the West Coast and you come on here just to see what happened in the episode, even though you'll see it in less than 3 hours!

You regularly use "You know you love me, xoxo" as a sign off on instant messages.
You secretly want your own angsty moment scored to The Bravery and wish you had enough money so you could toss expensive technology away while looking sad and fab.

The first thing you think when you visit common Manhattan locations (MET, Rockefeller Center, Etc) is the episode of GG where the location was first shown.

You see a girl at a party who resembles Blair, and you keep gushing at her about how she resembles Blair, and she doesn't even watch Gossip Girl.

You keep going back to the GG books and making a wishlist of all the book incidents and characters you want on the show and get super excited when you notice a line from the books making it into the show...
You actually start visiting places on the show and in the book just cos they were on GG...
You download a song you didn't even like that much cos the use of it on GG was so genius you now need to hear it constantly to remind you of the awesomeness of that moment (Apologize in Hi, Society)...
I need help, don't I?

When you don't want to check out that show "Chuck" because there is only one "Chuck" for you since Gossip Girl's Chuck, and no other poor bastard by the same name can even hope to compare.
When you see said show 'Chuck' advertised, but all that brings to mind is lovely scarfed Chuck and you start smiling like an idiot.

Seriously. I'm reading the New York thread so you can all tell me where I should be going.
... when you're taking your first ever trip to New York for a friend's wedding, and when you find out it's in the DUMBO neighborhood you're PSYCHED!

...So you buy a pair of all black patent leather Tory Burch flats and know that Blair would totally approve.

... when you're 32 years old and planning your first ever trip to New York, and your husband says "What do you want to see?" and you say, "All the outside places where they film Gossip Girl!"
Right On!
YKYOWGGW
Your 4 year old not only knows the characters, but their real names as well ("Hey, that's Blake & Penn!"). <and no, she's not allowed to watch the show>

....the return of The Mole inspires a dream of The Mole: Upper East Side NYC starring the GG characters (I'm curious to see how Blair in particular would do).

...when you start referring to yourself and your friends by only their first initials!
My friends were so annoyed by that, I'm not allowed to do that anymore... *pout* I felt a little like Blair Waldorf everytime I could call my friend Sandra "S".
... when you download Blair's ringtone and make it your text message ringtone.

Uh, just reading that made my heart race. And then I watched the scene it's in on youtube and my chest constricted. There are parts of GG that are art, seriously. Season 2 never did that to me.

Maybe not as many for me in S2, but I loved all the moments that were paired with these songs: Chuck & Blair during the blackout in 2.3 - "I Can Feel A Hot One" by Manchester Orchestra, 2.13 - "Signs" by Bloc Party & "Slow Show" by The National when Bart died (Signs especially), and in 2.19 - "Kids" by MGMT when Nate was with his family.Season 2 never did that to me.
