From zap2it.com:

Desmond experiences unexpected side effects when he and Sayid hit turbulence on the way to the freighter.

......Okay? That was probably the weirdest thing ever, and I'm pretty sure none of it made any sense.

Someone must be cutting onions around here... *SNIFF SNIFF*

Oh, that even cut through to my jaded heart.

I love you, Desmond!

Absolutely mind-blowing. I'm still a bit confused about Daniel's role in all of this.

I'm such a sap - got chills and everything. And Desmond with short hair...holy hot man.

All I have to say is, they better have given Kurt Vonnegut a writing credit for this ep.
Well, Minkowski pretty much confirmed this is a Charles Widmore operation top to bottom. But why pretend the boat is from Penny? Unless he means to do harm to Des. And Faraday continues to be the best of the Boaties.

Holy...something.

But I want to know more about what the boaties were saying about time passing differently on the island?

I haven't posted in the LOST forums in...years, but I have to tonight.

Best episode, hands down. My love for Desmond tripled, and I didn't even think that was possible.

That is probably the best episode of Lost yet. And they didn't fuck around with the secret surprise at :47 into it.

So maybe now we have the answer for why Desmond was in jail: going AWOL in this episode. Of course, if these flashes were already in his past, why doesn't he recognize Sayid?

That show rocked my socks off! It actually had me crying at the end which I didn't think would happen but Des and Penny just had me going.

So Des being Daniel's constant means what exactly?

Okay, I actually teared up a bit at the end there, even though the whole "constant" thing was cheesy and, and... Desmond's hair looks good, okay?

Confusing but awesome.

Lost, don't you ever come that close to killing Desmond again! Desmond is the key!

This may just be my crazy mind, but can someone check to see if the page in Daniel's notebook was the same both times (at the very end)? I know that the last look at it said "If something goes wrong, Desmond Hume will be my constant," but I could have sworn that right beforehand, it said "If something goes wrong, Desmond Hume will come back different." But then again, it could definitely have been the result of me just trying to read it really fast and seeing it wrong the first time.

OK, I just bawled like a baby at that last scene. One of the most beautiful scenes on this show ever. Desmond and Penny are truly the love story that defies time. Heh.

All the time jumps are making my brain hurt. Need to rewatch to take it all in.

Am I hallucinating, or was that Black Rock ship the same on the island? And the last name of the owner was HANSO? I don't know what to make of this. Perhaps he was the Hanso of the Orientation videos' relative and that's how they found their location for Dharma?

So... many... hot... men...

I was entertained. But are we to believe that "true love" has cured Desmond of radiation poisoning?

And if Harold Perrineau is included in the credits one more time without an actual episode appearance, I'm going to scream, "WAAAAAAAAALT!" at my television.

Already answered above. Ignore this and focus instead on the hotness of Desmond Hume.

I have to say that was one of the best episodes they've ever had. So many new questions, yet maybe a hint of a suggestion of a shadow of an answer or two! Desmond just has to get away from the damned Island!

I spent the first 50 minutes confused as all hell (though I now get that time on the island passes at a different rate than outside of it...I think.)

The last 10 minutes I was getting misty eyed. Sweet Lord, that was some fine TV. And Henry Ian Cusack in casual wear is a fine looking man.

I've got to remember to try the time displacement excuse the next time I zone out during a meeting at work.
Nice tie in to Desmond's earlier time jumper episode.
