"So, Fatima, what, in explicit detail, did they do to your genitals? Does that make you feel inadequate?"
And in no way was that me trying to be funny. I am serious. We all know Tyra.

As awful as this is going to sound, I can totally see Tyra asking her about the genital mutilation.
"So, Fatima, what, in explicit detail, did they do to your genitals? Does that make you feel inadequate?"
And in no way was that me trying to be funny. I am serious. We all know Tyra.
Ugh, I know. I'm cringing already.
Oh gods, I know! After she does that, she'll probably get on her soap box and go all pseudo-activist about clitoridectomy, possibly even quoting exerpts from The Vagina Monologues. Because we all know that every time there's a tragic tale, Tyra has to make it about her.
I hope she'll have the decency to leave out the obligatory photo montage of herself, should she do this. Then again, making somebody's personal tragedy about herself pretty much throws all decency out the window. I sincerely hope she doesn't go there.

I don't want to see Tyra tackle FGM either. It's truly too serious of a subject for this show.

However, I felt sick to my stomach thinking about Tyra exploiting Fatima's experiences. Not because I think Fatima should keep it a secret (if she wants to be active about raising her voice to tell her story then more power to her) but I cannot think of a more inappropriate venue than Top Model. Unfortunately, Tyra has no shame or morals it seems, so I plan to switch the channel when the inevitable "And can you tell us about that...?" happens.

But I think she's amazingly beautiful, and I hope she does well.

Therefore Tyra is going to give her a bright red weave a la Brittany C8 and kick her off in the third episode for not being able to rock it.
ANTM: Bringing out pessimism since 2003.

Though Fatima is a very natural beauty so hopefully she'll rock the pictures, but the expliotation will still be there. :(

Boston represent! This is total redemption from Mila, who I personally didn't hate but she wasn't very good .
