Does this mean we have to re-introduce ourselves?

Because if so, then I want to be someone completely different.

From the last page:

And the next thing I knew I was watching SBTB on YouTube. The acting is just horrible but I sure loved that show.

It's on in the mornings! I watch it a lot, and I'm not ashamed to admit it!

Julia Roberts's niece has a new movie coming out. I want to see it. Something about school on a cruise ship.

She has a show in Nickelodeon. Unfabulous. I haven't watched it, so I can't comment on if the name is fitting or not.

Speaking of...I'm thinking of making some chicken noodle soup. Unfortunately, that would require me to get up off the couch, so I'm not sure how likely that will be.

I first read that as *tries to feel husband* and I was "huh"?

Chicken noodle soup sounds good.

My local news just had some footage from the camera that's trained on the space shuttle launch pad. It was really funny. It's just the space shuttle sitting there...normal...normal...and then all of a sudden a spider starts crawling across the lens and it looks like the space shuttle is being attacked by a giant spider. It made me laugh.

That is awesome, petunia.

We just replaced my old barcode reader with one that looks like the head of one of the creatures from the Alien films. I am not sure if any of the kids who come in would get the reference, but I considered taping a piece of paper with a picture of teeth over the front.

Also, I learned today that it is near impossible to explain to a seven-year-old why I don't like that Souljaboy Tellem song. Apparently, the song is neither silly nor irritating, and the utter lack of imagination that went into creating it is unimportant.

I also learned that people need to turn their $500 bicycles into $500 fire hazards becase they cannot afford bicycle locks.

How long had you been without electricity?

And I am on the first page.

Treat yourself to a cookie, young man.

What kind of barriers did you encounter?

Apparently, its impossible to explain it to an eighteen-year-old, too. A guy in my speech class gave an informative speech over Soulja Boy and why he's an amazing artist. I was in shock.

How long had you been without electricity?

Since my previous lj entry.

Treat yourself to a cookie, young man.

I have none, but I had one on Saturday, so it is okay.

What kind of barriers did you encounter?

The phrases "so?" and "no, it's not" frequently cropped up. I did not take part in the debate team in high school, so I found it difficult to refute these counter-arguments.

Informative, as in a good exercise in persuasive speaking and intellectual Devil's Advocacy or was it more along the lines of buzzwords and exaggerated gesticulations?

I usually reply with the "rubber-glue" retort.

gesticulations

I wouldn't have believed that was a word until FF said it was okay.

Does that work with songs?

Oh, nice. I just saw that advert for Free Credit Report that has that guy and his band dicking around at his girlfriend's place while she is doing household chores and doing laundry that I would guess is his.

So did Polter-Cow punch through the wall seperating different dimensions, leading to this?

Does this mean we have to re-introduce ourselves?

Because if so, then I want to be someone completely different.

We could all have different backstories. It's our own Meet Market post-Crisis. A whole new continuity.

This week I have confessed my love of Britney, Rihanna, and now Soulja Boy Tellem.

I know one of those peeps, and that's Britney. I might know who Rihanna is, did she sing that "Umbrella" song?

Damn, I'm out of touch with today's music scene. Damn kids with their baggy pants, and not staying off my lawn.

The Crank That dance is fun!

You don't need the song to do the dance, though, do you?

I might know who Rihanna is, did she sing that "Umbrella" song?

She also did that song about cheating on her boyfriend and contemplating killing him because she is just that awesome.

Doubtful. I think he's still recovering from his shoulder surgery.

That's how I recently determined I have high-frequency hearing loss. Now I need to go get my ears checked next year. I have no idea why or how I'd have it, but I seem to. Bummer.

Hey, liz, against your better judgment, I am watching that ABC Family movie. So far, Melissa Joan Hart looks like deranged Annie. But when Kyle Howard came on, I got more interested.

I should be doing holiday cards. Or at least something productive that isn't this junk.

More snow coming tomorrow!
