(TiVo Says:) Another strange death leads Ned back to the site of Chuck's resurrection; pies laced with antidepressants brighten the lives of Aun Lily and Aunt Vivian.

Barnes looks into ordering laced pies for some of her forums.

I love this show so much it hurts.

And how hot was Ned swordfighting? Omg.

The sword fighting scene was fantastic. "Pooh, kick!"

I adore this show! My only quibble is that Charlotte should really be wearing long sleeves and gloves. But I can overlook it since her wardrobe is so cute.

That whole swordfighting scene was just the best thing I've seen on TV in longer than I can remember. The whole Pooh thing, and them screaming over the severed foot, and "I wanted to be a Jedi!" and "You framed someone for murder, you ass!" and Ned just being awesomeness personified. Gah. So much goodness.

Chenoweth's physicality as Olive adds so much to the character. It's hilarious.

Plastic wrap kisses make me swoony.

I like that they dealt with the morality of Ned's choice, and I loved the ending, when he said he'd do it everytime. So sweet.

I think this was my favorite episode so far.

Loved the tear running out of the eye patch. I hope the aunts are incorporated more in future episodes.

Do you want to be a delivery boy or a delivery man?

So resurrected people are immune to the proximity of death principle? Does that make them walking undead? If they die (again), what would happen if Ned touched them a second time? Or can they be resurrected an infinite number of times?

Questions aside, this was a great episode. The quirkiness continued even without Barry Sonnenfeld's direction. Can't believe the censors missed 'beaver boy loves his pie.'

It just keeps getting better. And Kristin Chenoweth and Raul Esparza? Now that's just genius. I can't even remember what my favorite part was. I might just have to watch it again!

OK, I was in love with this show from episode 1, but with every new ep I fall deeper in love. Please TV gods let this show get picked up! The 'kiss a beaver' joke was HILARIOUS! I can't believe they got that past the censors at 8pm!

Most incongruous race to accent since Fargo. I did enjoy Chuck calling Emerson 'Pooh'.

I like that they dealt with the morality of Ned's choice

So do I. I've been wanting to see that happen. And it did! We're really seeing the implications of everything dealt with. And now Chuck understands the urgency of the one-minute rule. (Though those were awfully long minutes, especially the escape from the funeral home.) And Olive has discovered who Chuck is, though she's mistaken about how she comes to be alive.

I was disappointed with a few narration details tonight, simply because I expect it to be perfect (on account of omnicience, and also because Jim Dale is so great): there was a "like" where "as" belonged, and a wrong preposition I can't recall just now. And isn't Murfreesboro accented on the first syllable, not the second? Or have I been saying it wrong all these years?

Glad to have the aunts back; it looks like they're with us to stay. Ellen Greene is affecting a voice for the role that's not so very different from Audrey.

Plus: Raul Esparza! And he's clearly set up to return. Off to drool in his thread.

I just love a show where characters use words such as "apt" and "umbrage".

And, please, please, please let Raul Esparza and KC have a duet!!!

Heheh at that point I yelled out "I do that!!" :) Because I do. Them puppies have a will of their own sometimes.

Also...Ned saying he's gonna see if they have saran wrap at the end was one of the sexiest moments ever. Like..swoon. :) And also nice that our minds get to wander, heee.

This episode just had so so many good moments...hilarious, poignant, etc. This show keeps getting better. I can't even express it.

Olive's getting a little more bitter which makes me sad...I don't want her to turn into a cranky foil. I liked being able to root for everyone in their own way.

And Emerson is perfect. His "Hell NO" and runnning away from bitch's proximity had us laughing loudly.

I have to watch it a few more times tomorrow. :)

It's pronounced with the accent on the second syllable.

I still can't believe how good this show is. At first I thought they just got lucky with the pilot but the past 2 episodes have been so much better than anything else on TV these days. I'd be surprised if this show doesn't clean up at the Emmys.

There's so much awesome packed into this episode but I absolutely loved the swordfight and that whole scene in the basement. Ned is so my new TV boyfriend. Speaking of Ned, I liked the way they dealt with his choice to keep Chuck around.

I still get really nervous whenever Ned and Chuck stand next to each other. I kind of wish Chuck is always covered from head to toe (and carrying plastic wrap).

I really liked this episode, but I'm definitely with Emerson that Chuck can be super annoying sometimes. I wish she would stop babbling and realize that really, Ned can only bring people back for one minute, so let him do his stuff so no one else gets hurt. It's hard to root for them when she keeps getting in the way so overtly and just being a nuisance. But overall, this show rocks.

I don't think Chuck was immune to the proximity of death thing. I think she just didn't care and that's why she didn't run when Ned couldn't get the coffin open. Or she didn't think about it. One or the other. That's my guess anyway.

Well I was sure about 5 minutes into it that I was going to have to give up on this show because Chuck was as endlessly annoying to me in the show open as she was the entire last episode and Ned was beginning to grate as well.

But they got dramatically less annoying the rest of the episode and the story was so good that I think this might actually be my favorite episode so far of the series.

I hope the limited annoyance continues next week with regard to Chuck and Ned. I identify so much more with Emerson than those two it concerns me a little.

The Olive twist should be an interesting to deal with. Can't wait for next week.

Love you Show!

Nope, the accent should be on the "free" part.

All I could think of when Ned and Chuck kissed was "I'd kill to be some plastic wrap right now".

Yay, on actually seeing the aunts this week. I also loved Olive's reaction when she figured it all out.

Now with Raul Esparza, KC and Ellen Greene on this show, this show is baiting itself for a musical episode.

Oh and can we make Emerson say "Oh HELL no!" every episode because I laughed so hard I cried watching him say that and running out to make sure he didn't die thanks to Ned.

[Murfreesboro]'s pronounced with the accent on the second syllable.

It's never too late to live and learn; thanks for the information! (I did check online before posting, but couldn't find a pronunciation hint anywhere.) My family used to drive through on summer vacations, and always accented the "Mur-", figuring it came from a name like Murphy.

The more I think about the episode, the more it makes me smile, with all the variety packed into it. How long till the next one again?

Each week I watch with dread, thinking that the show will somehow lose its charm and start dumbing down for the masses. Each week I am pleasantly surprised. This show is the antidote for the reality TV plague, being as how it surpasses reality and ventures into the surreal frequently.

I love how Ned moves so carefully, his hands frequently behind his back so as to not accidentally touch anyone or anything.

The swordfight was all kinds of awesome. Well choreographed and with some shots that reminded me of classic cinematic sword duels.

As a long time Disney fan, when Emerson got stuck my very first thought was of Pooh and I was so happy with all the referances that followed:)

Loved, absolutely loved this episode and what's amazing is that I liked it even more than the first two. I didn't catch who directed it, (darn, another reason to rewatch) but they did an amazing job.

I loved the sword fight, the Jedi line, Wilford Woodruff's southern accent (Mormon shoutout) and Emerson's fleeing the building. "Oh HELL no!" is my favorite Emersonism of the series to date.

I'm glad they dealt with Ned's causing inadvertantly the death of the funeral director and also agree that Chuck got noticibly less annoying as the episode went on.

Looking forward to more Daisies.

I loved the framing of Olive behind the fence at the Aunt's house. They did a nice job of giving her the creeps. I imagine that, on another show, the narration that Jim Dale did while she delivered the pie would have been an extended Olive monologue.

Best episode so far, and I loved the last two. There were so many quotable moments that I don't even know where to begin!

The Prince Charming part with Ned smiling up at Chuck was great. [snip --Barnes] I love her and find her adorable.
