I guess because she doesn't flash her cooch, get drunk, spend time in jail, etc....we gotta big up her! *sarcasm*

1.Frist seen on the last season of "The Simple Life" w/ dumb broad in crime Paris (on E! of course)
2.then the internet rumors about the tape SHE said never existed
3.Magazine interview where she says tape doesn't exist
4.BOOM....tape is released
5.followed by a bunch of "wtf promotion" and appearances at clubs and parties
6.now with her very own show (on E! of course)

A small claim to fame:

I met Bruce Jenner some years ago (1991 or 1992) when he was a guest speaker at a convention my company put on. Turns out he and I have the same birthday (and so did his nanny at the time). He was really very nice - we chatted for a few minutes and a couple weeks later he sent me an autographed photo that said "Happy Birthday."

I don't remember him looking quite so bad in person but maybe he's had more plastic surgery since then.

Why is this girl a 'celebrity'. What does/did she do other then act like a slut for money (c'mon, tell me she's not collecting some of the profits for that tape?)

And it's obvious why the girls are such trash. In the first 10 min I saw the mother wearing 2 VERY inappropriately short mini dresses. Get drunk at a wine store (and then drive home). Obviously trying to relive her youth through her slutty children.

I'm watching my first episode (not the first, I don't think but my first). Anywho, Kim K. is about the most famous not famous person out there now that Paris has decided to live a more low-key existence. I remember her sister (Kourtney) from Filthy Rich Cattle Drive (another bad idea) and I thought I saw one of those Gastineau chicks (the daughter) at some point so I guess the world of famewhores is really small.

A couple of points:


The younger girl and the stripper pole - so glad Bruce busted that shit up. Finally, a shred of common sense in tinsel town.

Khloe and the dress - no friggin way was that Khloe's dress. Perhaps if Mia Tyler were her sister, yeah, but a dress Kim is wearing...no sweetie.

Are we going to pretend that Brody from the Hills is not a part of this family? I was hoping for some reality tv cross pollination. But I guess since this is on E! and The Hills is on MTV, our dear Brody does not exist on this show.

The two youngest are Paris and Lindsay in training.

Yes, I was happy that Bruce broke that up as well. I half way appreciated when the mom got mad that the girls were behind the bar and said it wasn't appropriate. But that looked like it was just for show because both her and the dad saw them behind the bar (or so it seems) before they served them the drinks.

I also agree about the dress. There is no way those 2 were the same clothing. No way

Yea I noticed that during one of her interviews back in the day. Honestly, I like Kim. Sure she's famous for being Paris' friend and the sex tape with Ray J (which I saw and it's funny as hell) but whatever. I would probably never be friends with her IRL because she seems vapid, but whatever. She has great style so that's enough for me.

Kris and Robert were divorced by that point and she was already remarried to Bruce so more than likely the kids were all living with her. If I remember correctly (from one of those books about the trial, possibly Robert's!), Robert had a girlfriend who was living with him and I think she was the only other one in the house at the time.


Ok, so one little girl was doing her best S Factor impersonation on the stripper pole (who gets stripper pole for their mom and stepdad's anniversary anyway?), then both little girls were behind the bar making drinks? I see there's a lot of structure and discipline going on there. I should be shocked. But alas...

You know who is unfortunate looking? Bruce. Seriously, there is no good reason that he should look that damned old and puffy in the face. Watching the previews I cringed at shots of them trying to have a sex life. Please, Lord, tell me that those scenes are brief and accompanied by a LOT of disgust by the children. I typed my last note before I saw the season preview. It does look like Brody will stop in.

I'm just now starting to think about the relationships between all these faux-famous kids. It's amazing the power of the tv editor because theoretically wouldn't Kim, Brittny Gastineau, et al run in the same crowd as LC, Lo, Audrina, etc. And wouldn't those folks run with the same packs as Paris, Nicole, Lindsay (pre-re-hab) etc.?

I also like Kim. I like how confortable she is with her "junk in the trunk" as her mother puts it. And I could see kim wearing her sisters dress. But I dont think the sister could wear it again because it would be all streched out.

Also I love that thier house looks quite normal form the outside. I mean its huge but it is so descrete looking from the front.
