Not long ago, there were little drawings at the top of each page associated with whatever show you were reading about. They're gone, and I miss them. What happened to them? Where did they go? Will we ever see them again?

Hope so.

I know it's been asked a million times in the Recap/Forum bugs threads, but can you tell us why they're gone? Is it a rights issue? A cost issue? Did you just get bored of them?
Enquiring minds want to know.

Should we try drawing them in ourselves? And, purely hypothetically, do you know how to get marker off a monitor screen?

Enquiring minds are going to have to settle for "we're working on something for the redesign" for the time being. I'll post something more about design stuff soon.
Yeah, that's not a bad idea Shelwood (check stock portfolio for Samsung and ViewSonic).

Thanks Glark. Nice to know there's more stuff planned.
By the way, now that I read my note... Should it have been "Enquiring minds" or "Inquiring minds?"

I'm going to revamp the whole Bugs/Feedback area soon and start there what will turn into the official TWoP Happenings blog once we get blog software going on the site.
I hope to having a sneak peek and running commentary on the redesign process.

In any case, if we never see our favorite pretty pictures again, please let the artist know that he or she has fans... I always looked forward to seeing how new shows would be illustrated, and was consistently impressed with the wit and artistry in each little thumbnail. More than once a particularly intriguing illustration inspired me to click on the recap...even if I'd never seen the show! The unity of the graphics and color scheme made for a very balanced and harmonious-looking site. I'll continue to visit (I loves me some recaps!), but every time I open the homepage, I give a little sniff of regret.

It's just clipart -- that weird "almost" connection to the shows was an editorial choice from a pre-existing collection.

Your choices were so good that it made it seem like each picture was specifically drawn for the show it represented.
