NBC Official Synopsis - Added 10.25.07
JEALOUSY ON WHEAT, HOLD THE MUSTARD—RACHEL BILSON GUEST STARS—Chuck (Zachary Levi) starts dating Lou (Rachel Bilson), a sandwich maker, and things seem to be going really well. This incites some jealousy on the behalf of Chuck’s “ex-girlfriend”, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), as she may be discovering that her feelings were not all just a cover. However, things seem to get complicated when Lou is discovered to be a part of a smuggling group. Is the relationship with Chuck another phony or is this relationship for real? Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) starts developing a new relationship with an unlikely girl. Adam Baldwin also stars.
So Rachel Bilson shows up in episode 8. The synopsis for episode 9 refers to Sarah as Chuck’s ex-girlfriend. Hmm. Wonder why they “break up”. Any theories? The episode 8 release makes it sound like Sarah and Casey both spout a few truths. Maybe that’s part of it? But I’m trying to figure out why they’d allow this pretty major alteration in cover story.
On the other hand, a Morgan-less double date? Sounds awesome. Anyway, it sounds like their sex life might be an ongoing question. I, too, saw the promo tonight (it ran twice actually -- once after TO and once after either Earl or 30 Rock, can't remember now which one). Looks hilariously awkward.
