The only thing that worries me is that it sounds like a lot of people were unimpressed with the first episode and if they don't tune in to watch more then.....
It's one thing to have viewers for the premiere but to hold on to them is another. Who knows, I expect some shows to start off with a small fan base and then grow as word of mouth spreads. Unless PrP gets better, I doubt that will happen.

That is great news indeed! I don't know what those figures interpret for but that quote I know. Lol. Hopefully the second episode won't show a drop of viewers cause it's a very close match w/ BW.making it the most-watched series premiere thus far this season.

I hate when they don't have the ratings in "millions" of viewers. Hoping that info is avaliable soon.

Bionic Woman will likely have the same problem next week. And the buzz is that next week's PP is real good.

Pair that with the buzz that next week's BW is even worse, I've heard it totally falls apart next week. Guess we will see.

At least next week we can look forward to having the most hyped premiere of the season as our lead-in!
This is true, but if PD has great numbers PrP needs to hold them. Holding the previous show's ratings is important.

The overnights were really good - I mean, ~15 million (once all the ratings come in and not just the overnights) for a debut on Wednesday night is pretty awesome. Understandably, this would be expected - given the hype and the fact that it's a spin-off of last season's #1 scripted show - but given how tepid the press has been (and I blame a lot of that on the general Grey's backlash, which is both fair and unfair to PrP) and how poorly the backdoor was received, I think it's a good sign.
I'm not sold on the show, but I'm sold on the cast -- so I really want it to get better and succeed.

Not bad! Thats about what Heroes pulled last year and they're still around so we just gotta hope that Shonda and Co bring their 'A' game. BW had about 13.59 million. So it is definitely close.14.24 million viewers
Amen. Premieres are always hyped and all that jazz, but the coming weeks are really important. Week 3 may even be a better indicator because if BW really "falls apart" in week two, then theyre ratings will be better predicted by the following week. If last night was good, people may tune in next week.Next weeks numbers are what really matters, those will be a good predictor of what the show gets every week.
I'm really glad there is hype about PrP week 2, because the word needed to get out that even though last night stumbled, next week is what we really want to see.
