Here is an article I hadn't seen until today. Apparently DK recently visited a law school to talk about the career of entertainment law and the relationship he has with his lawyer. I wouldn't have even thought of that as a specialty if someone had asked me about the different kinds of lawyers, but it makes sense that it is, especially out in California.

This is an article I just found. It's focused on the Tony Scott aspect of the premiere with a side of Val Kilmer, but it's very, very complimentary.

So now that I've seen it, am I still excited? Did it live up to its potential? Did it take an ardent movie fan and make him want to begin watching a television show with any regularity? In short: yes.

AP: Filmmaker Scott Turns 'Numb3rs' Helmer

"Numb3rs" star David Krumholtz realized the show's season premiere was being directed by a real detail man when the cast was given hairstyling advice, including product recommendations.

I think zap2it.com already did an article this summer about Scott directing the season premiere that is airing tonight, but there's a new, more in depth article about that up on the site now: 'Numb3rs Counts on Scott for Action

It has some great tidbits, and it also mentions how Scott revamped and added some things to old sets, like putting a working fish tank with live fish in the Eppes house set which is cool. I'll be looking for those tonight. It's probably always good when your big time executive producer gives some personal attention to your show. :)

Do you think the fish will last longer than the cockatoo?

The fish probably won't last if Charlie is taking care of them. However if Amita is around more, as evidenced by the "didn't notice you wake up" remark, then maybe the fish will be OK. She seems a bit more responsible about those things. Alan would likely step in if he saw fish floating belly-up in the tank or anything like that.

Krumholtz takes EW's pop culture personality test.

A word of warning--it's at the lj community ohnotheydidnt, so the comments may get...raunchy. And offensive. Or both.

Today's Science Friday on Talk of the Nation, NPR radio program, has Gary Lorden a math consultant for Numb3rs and coauthor, of The Numbers Behind Numb3rs.

ETA:
This interview was so adorkable. Especially Keith Devlin talking about how DK makes math sexy, practically causing a sea change in the way all kids see math.

A review of "Hollywood Homicide" at TV Squad.

Also, it appears that David Krumholtz will be "celeblogging" for TVGuide.com.

Anyone catch Numb3rs being mentioned on The Soup?

Something like...

"And now, a special message from The Soup: Numb3rs is still on the air! This has been a special message from The Soup."

The spelling of the show's name was a question on Who Wants to be a Millionaire last week.

I thought that was kinda groovy.

I just hope it was one of the low-money questions. If it was for, say, a quarter-million or up, that'd be depressing.

If CBS would give the show a little love (like, say, promote it maybe) this wouldn't be a news flash.

They're really pushing Criminal Minds as their lead crime drama these days, hey? I love Criminal Minds and I'm glad it's doing really well, but I think the near complete lack of promotion for Numb3rs (resulting from CBS almost exclusively pushing CM) is probably going to lead to Numb3rs being cancelled this season.

I wouldn't worry about cancellation, missastro, especially this early. Even without much promotion, Numb3rs usually wins its time slot.
