I don't think there's a show on TV more worthy of snark than Numb3rs- I'm glad they added it to the TWOP lineup.

I'm looking forward to a season of Don being stupid, Charlie's hair being over-gelled, and the plots being ridiculous. Huzzah!

OMG! Another show I watched just got added to TWOP. Now if they would just add Criminal Minds all of my regular fall shows would be recapped/weecapped. This is Teh Awesome! Thank you TWOP for recognizing the awesomeness of Numb3rs.

Is Peter MacNicol coming back? I wasn't really clear if he left the show or just took an extended break.

YAY! I am so glad that Numb3rs is getting the recap/weecap treatment. I love that show so much, even if it can get downright ridiculous (I mean, seriously - did we really need Charlie's math to figure that most people try to park as close to the shop/casino as they can and that a car conveniently parked out of sight of the cameras is suspicious?).

Also, I've noticed that some shows have a "Title this Thread" sticky where people can suggest clever titles for threads. I think we should have one for Numb3rs so we may all get our nerd on and name our threads.

ETA: Also also - everyone should read Keckler's A Formula For Numb3rs. I nearly killed myself laughing at it. The recaps/weecaps for this show are going to be pure comedy gold.

I literally squeed when I read the announcement that Numb3rs had been added to the site. It might be a little hard to read the snark on one of my favorite shows, but most of it was always said in the old thread anyway and I think it will be fun to read the recaps.

I was a little apprehensive on whether I would be as into the show this year what with Colby possibly being a spy and all, but this turn of events pretty much guarantees that I will be addicted to Numb3rs (and TWoP!) for the forseeable future. :)

I can't wait to hear what Cheuton and PvsNP think about all this...

Wow. I couldn't be more surprised than anyone to see that this show had been picked up. I've been a huge fan of this show from the start (hi to any ol' Square One TV hats around here!) and I had hoped that TWoP would pick up when it premiered, but it didn't happen. I haven't posted regularly around here in a long time, but I just had to post when I saw this! Dunno if anyone may recognize me here, but I used to be quite active around the 24 boards a good while back. Ya'ay Numb3rs!

I absolutely love the "A formula for Numb3rs" and am eagerly looking forward to the recaps going by this excellent recap of past seasons. My favourite observations being:

....he remains temporarily, petulantly stumped until:

• Amita suggests a "different angle"
• he sees a knapsack
• he sees a falling leaf
• he sees a bowl of popcorn
• he sees a puff of air as Larry emerges from the steam tunnels

I'm sure, if you looked back at the first season posts, you'd see several of us feeling guilty about just that. We got over it, and now we just enjoy it. Look for the trifecta: heat-packing, forearm-baring, sunglasses-wearing Don. It's a swoon-fest for the over-30 set.

I can't believe that TWOP added Numb3rs to its' lineup. Great news...eagerly awaiting this season's first viewing of the Jeans of Justice.

I hope that Megan and Larry are still together - and that Oswald makes at least one appearance. Is Kathy Najimy still part of the cast?

I'm so glad that Numb3rs doesn't often pull from my own area of expertise. I'm sure the errors would drive me crazy. But as it is I get to feel smart when I understand Charlie's explanations and then sit back and enjoy all the pretty, pretty actors. Life is good.

I agree, Cheuton and PvsNP better find us here soon, though. Won't be the same without them.

keckler's formula is amazing and hilarious. Especially the constant repetition of "Charlie writes an algorithm". Hmmm, that gives me an idea of a thread to start...

Okay, I woke up my usual grumpy self this morning, and then I find -- Numb3rs is being recapped. By the brilliant and hysterically funny Keckler, no less! And Dr. Mathra! I actually frightened scarydad, who has never seen me laugh out loud before 8 a.m. Immediately called scarydaughter #1, a fan of both Jeans of Justice (she's awed by the hotness of Don and Colbynotaspy) and Keckler (reading Keckler's recaps kept us watching every single episode of Enterprise -- now is that loyalty, or what?). By the way, SD#1 has a PhD in microbiology, so she can't watch bad science shows but loves bad math shows -- especially when they come with hot guys and guns. Amen.
