The actor threads are no more. If you want to discuss the actors in other roles, we have always had a thread for that. If you are discussing them pertaining to the show, we have many threads for that: media thread, episode threads, character threads.
If there is something else worth mentioning that doesn't seem to fit anywhere else, ask me in the Moderator Q&A thread or via PM.
If you want to chat with other posters from those threads about how great Patrick Dempsey or Ellen Pompeo is, you can always use the Meet Market. That's always been the place for chatting, anyway.
