Surprisingly, he had the most votes (the women who voted for him stayed and the women who voted for the other guy had to leave...no rose ceremony that episode as I recall)
Actually, none of the women had to leave. When a few of the women didn't get a rose, they said, "Who cares? I voted for the other guy anyway." Even though Byron's season opener wasn't the best execution of the concept for two bachelors, I still wish they had brought back Kiptyn and Reid together, only without booting one of them, and with the women vying for one or both of them. I think the two guys together would have been hilarious, comparing notes on the crazy women and all, and they're both nice, attractive guys. I'm sure that ship has sailed, but if they're going to keep recycling characters, I wish they'd bring back somebody I'd actually like to see who has a good personality. There have been so many clunkers in the recycled contestants plan--Blob, Jenn Scheft, Deanna, Mesnick, now Ali--probably a couple I'm forgetting. I don't know who is telling Fleiss that those people are "America's Sweethearts." Blech!
