Here is a recent, rather lengthy interview with Neil and Ariana Debose (who I always felt left too early on her season) about their musical, Bring It On. He might be a little old to be playing a high school student, but I guess his boyish grin helps him get away with that. :)

I actually got to see Neil in that show! He was kinda a secondary lead character, but what I found interesting was he was listed as the understudy to the main male lead who doesn't dance at all, just sings. Now I want to hear him sing.

I thought the show itself was kinda meh (mainly because I didn't like the music), but the dancing/cheering/stunts were great and I loved seeing him.

Cynic, here is Neil with one of his Bring It On castmates performing "Baptize Me" from The Book of Mormon. I wish the audio were a little better, but you can get an idea of what his singing voice sounds like.
