Ok I'm almost about to go Jessi on Pasha.

Not only is he cute, and kind of hot and a great dancer. But he knows how to fix computers? As someone who is so totally not computer savy, that is a very attractive quality.

What is this about teh gay? I haven't seen it, but I'd like to. I have horrible gaydar every person I've every thought was teh gay was totally teh straight LOL. I kid you not I'm 0 to like I've lost count.

Likes computers, has self-deprecating humour, mocks Benji?

Pasha's playing for keeps.

My gaydar's pretty accurate (bar and road tested), and I don't get a hit from Pasha at all. He was great tonight, though, and is apparently able to bring out the best in any partner. He did some great mugging with the eyebrow as well, and loved the computer geek 'confession'. Too cool.

Loved the eyebrows when Mary was talking about him "not laying hands on Sara" before this week (something like that). He is truly adorable. And a great dancer. I pray pray pray that he is in the final four (WITH Anya, so we may hope to see them dance together again!)

I thought the #4 by counting Sara's straps was pretty sexy, too.
Did not get the gay vibe from that either.

Pasha is my favorite partner dancer in this competition. I really like his styles and personality. I hope he will stay long enough to get a chance to partner with Lacey or Sabra (or Anya again).

But his chance in F4 seems not promising. From the way it looks right now(I don't know if the rule changes after top10), Lacey/Kameron are so locked in the F4 seats since they will never be in Bottom 3. That means Pasha will have to compete with strong performers like Danny or Niel multiple times. The odds doesn't look good.

If they play it the same way as last year, the dancers are voted on individually form the top 10 on, so Kameron will have to get his own votes from then on to stay. I predict he won't be long for the competition unless he's hiding some impressive skills.

That's good news for Pasha, though. I think people have voted for him a lot in spite of his partner.

I'm not one of those people who hates Benji, but ye gods, I felt sorry for Pasha he had to have the full Benji makeover, to dance a dance full of tricks which he didn't seem comfortable with. He's a great actor, almost as good an actor as he is a dancer. He even managed to make his partner seem competent.

He'll be safe this week, and he's more than earned it. He's becoming one of the most popular dancers on the show.

I had said I got a gay vibe from his MySpace page based on little more than the fact that he left his orientation blank and wasn't into Jessi. After reading everyone's replies I realize that was an ignorant snap judgement on my part. I suppose it's hard to fathom that a girl as pretty as Jessi can't have any guy she wants - which obviously she can't. As for last night, he and Sara were amazing together. I half expected Jessi to come running out and pull a Tonya Harding. My Pasha love went off the charts last night. I want to have his little Russian babies.

The west coast swing routine was full of dancing - actually constant dancing -- with judicious use of very difficult moves others blithely term "tricks" as though they are somehow a sham and not worthy of seeing the light of day. It was a difficult routine that wasn't all that watered down - unlike say, Dominic's last two, wait, no, three.

Yep. It is showcase WCS, so there are going to be tricks, but I just watched it again and it is mostly footwork. They spent very little time on the "tricks," and were doing complicated footwork for the majority of the routine, and performing the hell out of it while they were doing it. The judges were right - Benji did not go easy on them, and Sara did very well, I thought. Pasha was, of course, wonderful. I don't expect any less from him. :)

One of the biggest WTF? moments of last night (in a good way, Miss Misha Chan) was during the Pasha/Sara judging--that late forties, total dad type holding up a sparkly "I HEART Pasha for Russia!" sign.

If it's only good when compared to someone who has never danced WCS, I'm not sure if this is a ringing endorsement for the routine, to compliment it mainly compared to entirely different dance styles by entirely different choreographers and dancers. Or maybe I missed the episode where Dominic danced WCS.

All the dances on the show have been watered down from the original form, including this one, otherwise I don't know if Sara could've ever kept up with Pasha. She was barely with him even with this very watered down version (which makes three watered down dances for her).

The routine had a great deal of clomping around, wacky faces, wacky costumes. Pasha was wonderful, but I felt as if the routine was thrown at him, not something which came from his natural talents. In the rehearsal footage I didn't think he looked very happy with the circumstances.

I don't think the WCS was watered down very much. All of the dances are watered down a bit for the non specialists, but I thought this was one of the more difficult partner dances the show has had. I was very impressed with Benji's choreography and Pasha's partnering skills. He looked completely comfortable to me, and I have to give him credit for how comfortable Sara looked as well.

If, and I hope this doesn't happen, Lauren makes Top 10, I actually would be interested in seeing Pasha-Lauren. I did not think Pasha-Sara would work, and now I think Pasha is just amazing at creating chemistry and connection. I'm curious if he could actually make Lauren watchable. If I lived in NYC, I would totally save up money to buy a private lesson with Pasha so I could have the experience of dancing with a partner like that.

Um, how tall is Pasha? Does anyone know? When he was dancing with Jessi, I thought he was around 6', but then last night with Sara he suddenly seemed much shorter. Is she taller than Jessi; was it the camera angle?

Also, I really enjoyed the routine with Sara, but I think it confirmed for me that he and Jessi did have a chemistry with one another that was out of the ordinary.

Compared to some of the WCS I've seen, I thought this routine was watered down. Pasha sold what he had, but instead of being a showcase for his abilities, this felt more like a Benji routine tailored for other dancers.

term "tricks" as though they are somehow a sham and not worthy of seeing the light of day.

Some tricks are great. Others are the Alex da Silva variety and amount to fancy paper on an empty package. Thankfully this wasn't a da Silva routine.

Also, I really enjoyed the routine with Sara, but I think it confirmed for me that he and Jessi did have a chemistry with one another that was out of the ordinary.

Jessi was a good partner. Sara usually seems lost with a partner, but with Pasha's help, she might improve.

Personally I have a feeling Pasha and Anya are a couple, but the show just makes them keep it under wraps.

I just love Pasha. I do actually think he's shown a ton a versatility and as a ballroom dancer I'm impressed. I, frankly, was never on the Dmitry train and don't know much about Artem but Pasha is in a different league when it comes to being the Russian Ballroom stud; he's the real deal.

Where's all the Pasha love tonight?

I was so relieved that *America* didn't let me down - lol. Last night, I voted for the first time all season. Non-stop for Pasha/Sara and was very nervous about the number of votes I got in.

From the look on Sara's face tonight as she was sitting in Pasha's lap, I think she'd gladly chant that chorus with us. ;-)

I couldn't help but think .... "poor Jessi!"

Wow, the guy has quite a hypnotic effect on all of the girls. Sara was quite...um giddy. Wait till he gets to the top 10 and they start switching partners every week. He's going to have all of them chasing after him.

This show is obviously trying to make me think Pasha = Benji 2.0.

Last year, Benji was my favorite. This year? Pasha. Even Pasha, during his Jazz routine, had almost the same outfit as Benji, and in the WCS, looked and danced and acted as if he was the upgraded, sexy version. With his partnering with Jessi, they had a chemistry that rivaled Benjelle.

I'm convinced that if Pasha can pull of contemporary or hip hop, he has this competition in the bag. I hope that he has more surprises up his sleeve and that he can pull off some decent solos in the future.

I love Pasha too much to inflict Lauren on him. I live in New York City and just started latin ballroom lessons - cha cha. I know I'd be in 7th heaven if I danced with a partner like Pasha (he might not though ;o)).

Also, I really enjoyed the routine with Sara, but I think it confirmed for me that he and Jessi did have a chemistry with one another that was out of the ordinary.

If I compared Pasha/Jessi and their smooth waltz routine (week 1) with Pasha/Sara and their WCS (week 1), I would say that the Sara partnership is on par with, if not better than, the Jessi partnership. YMMV.

I think Pasha could make a coat rack look good ;).

Although the dance wasn't focused on him at all, I tried picking Pasha out in the group number last night, and from what I could tell, he managed to hold his own. So if my speculation is correct that next week Pasha and Sara will get Broadway or Pop, I don't think we have too much to worry about. *crosses fingers* I think the judges really like Pasha too and will want him for the tour, so I think he'll be safe at least for another week.
