Rock of Love With Bret Michaels

Here are more details about the show from VH1:
With twenty years of continuous multi-platinum success, sold-out tours and a couple of high-profile relationships that never led to the altar, Michaels is ready to wear his heart on his sleeve. The series will focus on the never-before-revealed private side of Michaels. With that said, the casting executives have received an overwhelming response from female fans of all ages. Residing with Michaels in his Los Angeles rock palace, these women will be tested on their devotion to him and their love and understanding of all that is rock-n-roll. To help narrow the field, Michaels will put these women through various challenges. The ladies who win these challenges will join Michaels on some wild and exclusive excursions, while those who can't hang like true backstage VIPs will be escorted out in bona fide rock star fashion.
Whether it's partying on the tour bus, jetting-off to a sun-kissed beach, or hanging with Michaels' celebrity friends, this 10-part series follows these lucky ladies on the rollercoaster ride of their lives. They'll all get a taste of living the rock star life, but in the end, only one lucky lady will win an all access pass to his heart.
Once VH1 reveals the famewhores who signed up for this skank-fest, it should be fun to snark on them. I wonder if Trishelle from "The Real World: Las Vegas" auditioned for this? It sounds like her kind of show.
I don't think this show will be as funny as "Flavor of Love" because Bret Michaels seems to take himself too seriously.

This show is such a breath of fresh air. I am so over Flavor Flav and I Love NY.
Although I am kind of curious as what happened between Bret and his long-time girlfriend and the mother of children, Kristi or Kristen?

I know I'll be watching! I was a Poison fan when I was a kid (even had a short-lived crush on Mr. Michaels when I was 11) and I am VH1's Celebreality bitch. They know how to keep a girl hooked on some bad TV!
Sign me up too. I was majorly in love with Bret back in the day. I wonder if he still looks as good in a speedo as he did in that poster I had in eighth grade.

I don't see this as being as out and out entertaining as Flavor of Love or I Love NY (because Bret's not as skanky as either of them) but the ladies should provide enough of a skank factor. I'd love to see real women my age with long time love for him duking it out - I'd take on SlinkyKat! But I have a feeling all the contestants will be 22 and all "Poison whaaa...?"

Is it wrong that I kind of wish I was a contestant on this show?
Absolutely not because I wish I was too.

I’m embarrassed to admit I know this but her name was Kristi Gibson. I’m curious too; I wondered what happened to her when I saw they were making this show. I was a huge Poison fan so I'll be watching.

Seriously, though, he's held up well, and didn't go to bloated and re-constructed like the aforementioned Vince Neil. There actually might be decent women....nah, it's a reality show! ;)

I was on the Flavor of Love train. Now I can't wait to see the rock version.
One thing I don't like so far. The guy is 44 but the contestants have to be 25-35. Why not take ladies up to 45?

I think CC Deville would've been more entertaining, IMHO.

Maybe all that past living like a rock star is catching up to him and his face?

You know what is bugging me about this show- the name! Couldn't TPTB have come up with a better name than "Rock of Love"? That just sounds... retarded.
They picked the title "Rock of Love" in an obvious nod to the title "Flavor of Love."

CC would have been far more entertaining, but at last check, he was still with Shannon Malone and they had just had a baby boy.
Somebody had sex with CC Deville without a condom? Eeewwwww! That's just gross.

How come nobody wants Bobby Dahl? If he still had that long hair I would love to take a chunk out of that! Or Nikki Sixx. And if they get shows they better lower the age limit from 25!

I saw the promo looked at my husband and said "I am so there!". He won't admit it, but he is too. Add two more for the VH-1 Celebreality bitch train! Next stop...Hootchietacular Goodness!

I am too young to remember when hair bands were the shit and had groupies all over them, but I've seen it on other VH1 specials. Was Brett Michaels hot in the day? That picture looks like Kid Rock's head pasted on some male model's body. Sidenote: you know what 80's band guy was insanely hot back in the day? Sebastian Bach. Dude was gorgeous, too bad he just looks sketchy now. Were I maybe 10 years older, I'd be in the right age range; sadly, I spent the late, late 80s in love with Jon Knight from New Kids On the Block.
