The rules of this game are simple:

1. Pick a song or album title.
2. Come up with a short description of a possible episode with this title, such as what you would see in the TV GUIDE.
3. PROFIT!!!

Okay, maybe not #3, but you get the drift.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT meant to be a fan fiction thread. Those of you who feel so inspired please post your fan fics on the thread designated for that. this is just for whatever little "story seeds" connected to song/album titles people come up with. :)

(Those of you who do not want to contribute story seeds can amusing themselves by guessing the names of the artists who made these songs/albums).

I'll get things started:

The Blue & the Grey
Two brothers, on their way
Two brothers, on their way
Two brothers, on their way
One wore blue and one wore grey

During the Battle of the Wilderness, two brothers - one who fought for the Union, the other the Confederacy - were slain. Every few years since then, brothers have died mysteriously on that same spot. Sam & Dean must find the source of this tragic curse and break it before it claims them as well! The episode will be laced through and through with flashbacks of the two doomed brothers, played of course by our very own J-Pad and The Ack.

The Ever-Popular Tortured-Artist Effect
There's this one electric guitar, see. And everybody who has owned it becomes absolute Guitar Gods. They also turn into revolting gits, get wasted and die. Did I mention that Sam has just spotted said guitar in a pawn shop window and bought it on a whim?

Howlin' At The Moon
Sam and Dean investigate weird killings in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and discover that they are the work of werewolves.

The Famous Final Scene
The ghost of a silent movie comic, who's career was destroyed after he was accused of rape and murder, is killing up-and-coming young comics. Or is it the ghost of his victim doing the killings?

These Eyes
Sam falls into the clutches of a crazy woman who wants to have visions like he does. And she only wants two things out of him...

People Who Died
When Sam & Dean investigate the strange deaths of several people, they discover one connecting thread: they were all friends with the same guy. Is this guy a straight-up murderer or is there something more weird afoot?

Back in Flesh
Ol' Yellow Eyes is Back! and you'll never guess who he's possessing now...

(People Who Died is by Jim Carroll!)

Rooms on Fire
Sam and Dean investigate the victims of the Demon's newest recruitment technique: pinning dads to the ceiling while they watch weekend football with their buddies.

Flaming Telepaths
Sam goes undercover as a bottom boy when a leather club gets possessed by the spirits of the cows used to make everyone's chaps.,

Kittens Got Claws
Sam and Dean have to deal with some possessed mountain lions in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming and end up sharing a tent in the middle of a July snowstorm....

Little Face
Sam and Dean go to the Borley Rectory, the most haunted house in England, where they see the images of spirits in the tiles of the kitchen floor.

Poor Fatty Arbuckle. He was falsely accused.

Yep! Which, when you consider that the song is AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL, makes Mr. Carroll an excellent candidate for a SUPERNATURAL episode based on him! Why should Robert Johnson get all the love?

Poor Fatty Arbuckle. He was falsely accused.

True dat. AND his career was completely destroyed. It was almost like he became a living ghost, hanging around Hollywood for years after his star fell. I honestly think he would be another excellent candidate for the "Robert Johnson Treatment".

So, I was listening to CD's last night, and I got another inspiration:

Born to Run
A rash of mysterious car crashes that occur on exactly on the same stretch of road lead Sam & Dean to suspect that a supernatural influence may be at work. The boys investigate, and, before you know it, Dean & Metallicar find themselves in a race with Death!

And, if those of you trying to guess who did the songs mentioned here don't figure out who did THIS one.... ;)

Diamond Dogs Sam and Dean investigate a series of deaths in a family where women are killed on their wedding day. (Cursed jewelry)

Sick Things A song recording causes a number of the listeners to commit suicide. (Extra points to anyone who can identify the original urban legend song.)

Fountain of Lamneth People are vanishing from a retirement village in southern Florida. AKA 'Don't Drink the Water'.

High School Confidential A flash back episode to when Daddy meets his future flame. (The character who plays the vessel of the YED should also be there.)

BTW-
Born to Run-Bruce Springsteen
Kittens got Claws- Whitesnake
Flaming Telepaths- BOC
These Eyes- Guess Who (why is this the only one to run through my head? Damn you!)

Don't recognize the rest.

Dirty Dreams En route to Toledo Ohio, rumored to be the root of all evil, Sam and Dean run across a slew of exhaustion related deaths. The boys are stumped until the monster itself, a succubus affecting dreams, comes after Sam.

Aunty Mib, I think the original urban legend song was Gloomy Sunday but I could be wrong.

Far Behind

A dead girl is given 36 hours back on earth to stop the boys being killed. Dean is disappointed when she has little answers about the afterlife...or his father. Sam finds out more about the ‘coming war’ and is surprised to learn that the girl committed suicide when the yellow-eyed demon killed her family.

Fortunate Son

Sam’s been having troubling visions about Ava and is frantic to find her. Dean is worried that they are being manipulated by the demon and are walking into a trap. They visit Missouri for answers but everything changes when Dean starts having the same visions.

Black Water

A tip from an old friend takes the boys to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Native American star-crossed lovers who drowned in the Singing River have long haunted Pascagoula but the situation turns nasty when developers disturb their souls.

Crazy on You

Ash warns Sam and Dean that they have a crazed internet following. A coven of witches has conjured a demon to lure the boys to them and now they’re all in danger. (tee hee)

Magic Man

Two words: immortal carnies

The Wind Cries Mary

Dean has a series of dreams about his mother. She seems to be pointing him back to Kansas but Dean doubts his dreams. The boys follow her directions and face a great betrayal.

Yikes, just call me thread-killer.

Fortunate Son - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Black Water - Doobie Brothers
Crazy on You - Heart
Magic Man - Heart
The Wind Cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix

BTW, everybody's story seeds so far sound awesome, keep 'em coming!

Sign of the Gypsy Queen

Sam and Dean investigate what they believe to be a cursed relic that causes horrific things to happen to whoever has it. Things get more complicated when they discover that a very dark and slightly unhinged spirit - who may or may not be a hundreds-of-years-old gypsy ghost - has attached itself to the object and is responsible for all the chaos.

Well, nothing like the Mullet Rock thread to give me a brainstorm (or, in this case, a brain squall, LOL):

Sympathy for the Devil

This story would be told entirely from the POV of someone who's body has been taken over by one of Ol' Yellow Eyes' spawnlings. We hear her desperate, frightened thoughts as she struggles against the evil that has overtaken her. Then, just when the poor thing is about to give up, two young men arrive at her doorstep...

Don't feel bad, harleykins, most of mine aren't mullet rock either. I kept trying to stick with mullet rock titles, but then I'd come across non-mullet-rock awesomeness and my will would crumble... ;)

Strange Brew
When Ellen reports strange behaviour from her patrons, the boys follow the trail back to Elsinore Brewery. There they discover a couple of hosers have been indiscriminately chanting Latin over the brewing vats, thereby creating batches of "Holy Beer" and "Hell Beer".

Because I am in such a silly mood after rewatching Tall Tales, I just had to do this:

The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys
A series of bizarre incidents at a Women's Only residence in New York city causes Sam and Dean to disguise themselves as Buffy and Hildegarde in order to gain access to the residence and investigate the strange goings-on. Complications ensue when one of the residents develops a hot crush on Dean while Sam falls for a pretty blonde... ;)

Veteran of the Psychic Wars Sam and Dean discover the only Psychic Kid to survive the last war 22 years ago.

The God that Failed SPN's take on the Monkey's Paw

Shout at the Devil The Winchesters v the Bell Witch

Papa Was a Rolling Stone for the flashback episode where we find out what really happened between John Winchester and Bill Harvelle on the the Devils Gate hunt.

Panis Angelicus a "Christmas" episode with cannibals.

and it was taken but I'm shameless

My Immortal Sam keeps seeing Jess. But it's not related in anyway to the Demon or even anything particularly Supernatural. He just can't let go and he must.

Crazy Train, Hair of the Dog and Sympathy for the Devil are inspired...

But we could also use "Devil in a Blue Dress" for the Sympathy plot... Hee.

Two Minutes to Midnight

The boys discover that the Demon's spawn have possessed high-level military officers and are planning to cause annihilation. Sam realized his DENSITY as the boys break in and are able to stop the nefarious plot with only moments to spare.

(Yep, utterly ridiculous, I know. Kinda like the whole DENSITY thing gone badly written comic book, hee.)
