I work a few blocks away from there but that is definitely not my "scene." And I can't stand Sam. But I guess its a good thing for him that he found a gig.

Haha, nor do I. And I'm not surprised at this development, either -- he gave off tremendously psychotic vibes during S2. They'll probably find a body in his trunk.

" He had that coming.

Regarding his place of work, however, I thought he was maintaining his resort-restaurant, "The Surf Lodge"?

Top Chef season 2 finalist, Sam Talbot, was arrested earlier this month after driving his truck onto sand dunes on a Long Island beach.

One, isn't that kind of hard? I don't drive, but even I know.. sand dunes?

He had to be been drinking something....

When police responded to a complaints that someone was driving a Chevy truck on the beach, they realized he was driving with a suspended license too. He failed to pay a fine and show up in court for a previous citation. They immediately arrested him and he was later released on $100 bail.

Now I want to know what the previous citation was, and damn only a $100???? Crap that should be more. Especially since he had a suspended license.

$100 really is a slap on the wrist when he was also driving on a suspended license. What's really going on here?

I'm smelling bribery. And apparently I can't dig, as I can't seem to find out why he has a suspended license. But seriously, I'm annoyed at $100. It should be more.

Here's hoping to another arrest... just hope he doesn't hurt anyone but himself.

$100 is the bail, not the fine. Which means he was processed and arraigned, not just ticketed.

Ah, stand corrected. Well then the bail should have been more. Then again I'm bias.

He's opening Imperial No. 9 in Manhattan.

He's also getting a divorce.

A Chef is Cooking- a fawning NY Times piece that appeared in the Fashion & Style section instead of the Dining area. (It also inspired general outcry among Voltaggio supporters on Twitter.)

And whenever his name appears in print, the words “hot,” “hottie” or “hottest” are usually not far behind.

Funny, because whenever his name appears in my head, the words "asshole," "prick" and "pube-covered potato face" are usually not far behind.
