From my TiVo, which has never misled me: "The Cain family hosts the annual charity ball to prevent the public from discovering that Leopold has been kidnapped; Conrad Cain confronts a fomer childhood friend who appears unannounced."

I don't know, I had to look away each time he brought the razor out.

Wow, so was everyone watching The Nine instead tonight or something?

I continue to very much enjoy this show. However, Aubrey annoyed me a little bit tonight by taking off while in the dressing room. Why does no one on television shows ever realize that maybe they have a bodyguard for a reason? Especially one day after finding out your brother had been kidnapped and having been kidnapped yourself. But I'll forgive her since I liked her through the rest of the episode.

I agree. She became the most responsible member of the family by the night's end.

So who shot Sully? Cain looked like he was just walking off some steam, plus, I don't think he could have arrived at the bar on foot in time to shoot Sully.

I did a lot of swapping back and forth b/t this and "The Nine," which was super intense and moving so fast that I was dizzy.

I still really liked Kidnapped; I really enjoy the bodyguards all around. They're something about them that makes them strangely endearing. And the father still really creeps me out...

I thought this was a really good episode. Particularly liked how Anthony Rapp's character seems to know relevant details but has had no phone calls or visitors in jail. I thought that Sully would be around a lot longer to torment Conrad and to be a possible suspect. Obviously I was wrong. If Conrad didn't shoot him, then someone else knows way too much about the Cain family, their enemies and their movements. I also liked how the younger daughter figured out that Leo had been taken. Love her bodyguard.

I watched The Nine and TiVo'd Kidnapped, just finished watching it. Another good episode. I'm really starting to feel some pain from Ellie. I wish I could tell her to relax, it's just a TV show.

Totally didn't see it coming -- Aubrey's boyfriend Tucker scamming the family. He's obviously not smart enough to think of it, and it's surprising that he even has friends that smart.

I think Leopold might be trying to give himself an infection, or something that looks like an infection. They can't kill him until they get the money, and they know someone will want to hear Leopold's voice before they get paid.

Nice to see another face from Oz, even though he didn't last long.

I think the kidnapper had Sullivan killed, either because he's in on it but not following the rules, or maybe thinking that Sullivan would interfere. ??

Yes, and I'm not looking forward to it. Otherwise, it was a really good episode -- best so far. I enjoyed several things about it:

1) Daddy Cain still has some thug in him. I appreciate that.

2) To the Rescue Me fans on here -- Mick!!!!! Love him!!!!!

3) To the Oz fans on here -- color me shocked. I never, EVER thought I could enjoy the actor who played McManus (because I despised McManus so much), but he was down right menacing tonight as Sully. I'm kind of bummed that he was shot.

4) I spent most of the episode wanting to slap Aubrey in her self-righteous, self-involved little face. Having said that, I was glad that she got it together for the toast (which was lovely). Unexpected and out of character (the writers didn't really lay the groundwork for it -- I know better than to expect the zig, but the set-up for the zag should have been a little better), but lovely nonetheless.

5) Loved the scene when the younger daughter reveals that she knows Leo has been kidnapped. How in the world did they think that they could keep it from her? She's smart, curious, and LIVING IN THE HOUSE!!!!!!

Scenes for next week -- come on. The kidnappers have reach so long that they're going to send an assassin into the operating room? WTF? I get enough suspension of disbelief from Prison Break. I'm already cutting this show MAJOR slack (it's inconceivable that no one in NYC saw the kidnapping or heard the shooting that happened in broad daylight). I hope it doesn't force me to swallow TOO many improbabilities. I'm committed, so I'll probably watch it anyway, but I'll be annoyed. :-)

That's who he was! That was driving me insane while I was watching the episode and I didn't know his character's name so I couldn't even look up who it was.

Did Ellie tell Knapp about the guy at the party or did he see her leave and follow her? When I watched it I assume he just followed her due to the way she reacted when his car pulled up, but now I'm not sure.

Man, I love this show. The plot just keeps going, and unlike a lot of other shows, I think it's going somewhere.

I definitely think Leo, smart kid that he is, is trying to get his babysitters to take him to a doctor. I'm really interested in what Mexican Andy Griffith is going to do about it as well. It was nice to see that somebody noticed something for once at least!

Love how Sisto just does not let up. "I am going to count to three, and then I will take out your eye." Brrr. That's hardcore, right there.

Ow! What was Leo doing to his leg??

Cutting open his leg, shoving food into it. Most likely to intentionally infect it. If he's only good to them alive, they'd HAVE to seek medical attention for something like that, without it being obvious that he did it to himself.

I literally collapsed into a fit of giggles when Jimbo commented that he liked the shrimp puffs. If he's only going to have one line a week, I hope they're all as good as that.

Did anyone else think that Mrs. Cain looked a little turned on while watching Knapp in action with Tucker? Personally, I'd be rather frightened if my ride home was threatening to remove someone's eyeball in front of me, but she seemed more intrigued than nauseated.

Considering I watched Lost season premiere before switching to this, I couldn't help but think that Kellogg's jail should start using the same glass cleaner as the Dharma Initiative. You could barely see him throughout the scene, especially with some of those camera shots. It reminded me of "The Angles" from that MySpace video. Or Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.

McManus has seen better days. That hair. Yikes.

"Sorry, Wrong Nunmber" is also the name of a classic movie about a woman who overhears a plot to kill her, which has some parallels with Leopold's situation.

Loved how Leo heard the guys talking about the cops and thought he was dead any second, and had his razor blade at the ready. Loved the tiny moment of relief he showed after the guy decided not to; the kid is very tightly wound up after overhearing they’re going to kill him. And smart! Infecting himself to get to a doctor; he knows being handcuffed he’s never gonna make another run for it, so get the help to come to him.

I loved how the authorities know about Leo. Probably think he’s their plaything. Ick. Wonder if the cop plays the traditional corrupt Mexican and expects a bribe, or if he’ll help Leo.

Aubrey sure cleans up good! I didn’t realize she was so pretty.

I’m guessing Kellogg (Rapp) planned the whole thing out, day by day, and that’s how he knows what’s happening. The others are just following his plan.

I adore Jimbo. My new favorite actor.

He obviously shares a history with Knapp regarding a kidnapped girl. If he orchestrated this, is it all tied to Knapp having nothing to do with the Cains and their family secrets? I think he is a very interesting twist.

Is the FBI guy who seems to be falling for Aubrey the same guy who shot her kidnapper last week and who may possibly be working for the bad guys?

Just finished watching my recording of this -- and next week, "The Nine" gets recorded, because this is more intriguing.

I am officially in love with Jeremy Sisto's character, but it was inevitable; I'm a sucker for the tortured genius who kicks ass.

I'm assuming Mrs. Cain did *not* ask him along on the drop, despite what he said to the FauxKidnapper. And as for her being at all turned on by his violence, I think she was probably just relieved to be with someone who is taking action on behalf of her son. From her perspective (she hasn't been along on any of the investigation, rescue of Aubrey, etc.), everything has to have seemed very passive.

Delroy Lindo looks so fine, but I wish he could be getting more done. Of course, he's smart enough to actually team up with Knapp rather than working against him, and at least this week he's gotten some evidence out of Mykelti. (And I admit, my theory about Mykelti seems kaput for now...but who knows?)

Loved seeing Conrad show some of the old neighborhood in him. I think the stylists screwed up with Conrad's hair -- it's too long and unruly for his station in life -- but it did work when you saw him rougher.

The show would be interesting enough but Larry, the mysterious jailed guy, is fascinating. Perhaps Tooms (bouncing ball guy) is his brother and this is revenge? Too banal, right?

I fear for Jimbo.

I had soccer at 7:30 and we go out to the bar afterward. What? We have to put on the calories that we burn right after the game. I watched the episode at 12 AM when I got home.

The one show which was able to cast kids who can act and it is getting the ax. Alice making the comment to Jimbo about how they took her brother simply broke my heart. I have a sneaking suspicion that Jimbo is not going to allow anyone to look at Alice in a way that he finds offensive.

Love that Conrad is showing his stripes. He gets his ass whipped by his former best friend and then returns the favor, in spades. He must have beat on Sully pretty badly for Sully to have the cuts that he did. Not bad for a soft millionaire. Loved the FBI's reaction to Conrad's holding Sully off the roof.

Aubrey is really growing on me. I had no problem with her whinning throughout the episode. Her brother has been kidnapped. She was kidnapped. Not only that but she was nearly killed by said kidnapper and was in his grasp when he was killed. I would say that she had a rather traumatic few days. I can give her a pass on being a bit of a bitch. Heck, I would be huddeled under my bed in the fetal position sucking my thumb if I had a day like that. And now all her parents are telling her is that she has to attend a fancy party and pretend that all is right with the world? Yeah, I would be more then a bit bitchy if I were not catatonic.

That said, what a great toast. She covered for her missing parents very nicely. She made the guests feel at home. She made the FBI kid want to have sex. Not bad for someone who is has had a very bad couple of days. I felt for her when she saw Leo at the bottom of the pool asking for help. That was a great scene.

Leo's situation gets more and more interesting. The one bad guy managed to give Leo what he needed in order to hide what it was he was doing to his leg. All he has to do is put on the bandage that the one guy tossed him and the now festering leg is covered up. Smart kid.

I wonder how long it is before the Sherrif turns them over for a reward from the FBI?

I thought the toast sounded too rehearsed and not as off-the-cuff as it should have been. I'm glad Aubrey stuck her neck out for her family, though.

If they had shown Aubrey overhearing her mother's breakdown in the bathroom during the party -- that would have worked to make her transition more believable.

And speaking of that scene: Dana Delaney rocked it.

For some reason, I didn't pick up on Aubrey's bodyguard being the same guy as the new hire who admires King and shot Aubrey's kidnapper. But for Ramona, look in the last episode thread -- some of us think he may be up to no good because the Main Kidnapper takes out everyone who's involved once they've outlived their usefulness, and Aubrey's abductor definitely had.

Ah, interesting theory. I think last night's episode darkens that idea though, because it seems more like they are going for more of a "overexcited, overinvolved rookie cop falls for his charge" thing for that character.

One other thing I forgot to mention: when Sully was hanging over the edge of the roof, I was focused on his bloody teeth! It was a seriously realistic shot.

Interesting to hear that Delroy Lindo's character was instrumental in Virgil becoming a bodyguard. I would like to hear more backstory on why Leo needed a bodyguard to begin with - but Aubrey was completely unguarded at college. Speaking of college, I think I heard Aubrey make a partial reference to her best friend who was killed. You would think that she would have said more about her.

Wow, that was good! Now I'm really disappointed this show is getting the ax.

I am officially in love with the pairing of Alice and Jimbo. I could watch them interact all night--and Alice was so adorable in her party dress. I am going to be seriously upset if anything happens to Jimbo because I have a feeling he would throw himself in front of a semi to protect Alice.

Did anyone else think that Mrs. Cain looked a little turned on while watching Knapp in action with Tucker? Personally, I'd be rather frightened if my ride home was threatening to remove someone's eyeball in front of me, but she seemed more intrigued than nauseated.

I thought Ellie looked terrified yet still determined to find out if they knew anything about Leo. Personally, I was drooling. Knapp beating the snot out of those guys was HOT. Jeremy Sisto rocked the episode (and slapping him in a tux didn't hurt, either).

I have a theory. People were watching The Nine (I couldn't, I was taping Kidnapped and Two A Days at the same time as The Nine) knowing that they could watch a recording of Kidnapped or the episode on line later.
