Michael, what's with the tie?: Wardrobe, Hair and Makeup on Prison Break

Wardrode
- Michael's suit: Still fresh and so clean even after how many days w/o a shower or an iron? Is it too much to ask for a little dirt? And is he not hot, as in going to have heat stroke, in that thing? It's not like his tattoo comes up on his neck. He can undo the top button at least and get rid of the tie. Tie's not really necessary at this point.
- Michael's red shirt: I love that shirt and him in that shirt. I would like for it to reappear.
- Linc's shirt: Just come off already.
- C-Note's tank top: Nice.
- Tweener's sweatshirt: If he could have moved around in the trunk, he really should have taken it off.
- Nika's pink track suit: JLo called. She wants it back. Pepto pink.
Hair
- T-bag: Maybe I'm crazy but I like the blonde.
- Tweener: So glad he cut it.
Makeup
- Tattoo: Wherefore art thou? Even though I'm not a huge fan of the look of this particular tattoo (in season one it just looked like a blob from far away and just too much blue for my tastes), the little bit we see on his wrists is not cutting it.

What red shirt is that, nicepebbles? I only remember seeing one in some behind-the-scenes footage. Do you remember the episode?
Gotta mention this wardrobe specific too - Sara's green shirt. That looked SO good on her when she was talking to Michael's therapist. She definitely needs to wear more green.
Hair: love how they seem to be using Sara's hair as a barometer for how her life is going. Dirty, stringy hair = weak, damaged Sara. Shiny, wavy hair = hopeful, strong Sara.
I am dying for the tattoo to make a reappearance too. I still think this is the most unique aspect of the whole series and I'm sure some new viewers would love at least a glimpse.

This I love. Also, while I wasn't all that crazy about her shirt this week, I think that's the first time she wore something with a pattern.

I think Michael would look great in some casual khakis and a T-shirt; maybe add a hoodie (with the hood up like the real-life WM pics taken by fancams).
Actually good time to bring up the topic of clothes: The guys are wearing overalls. Where did they leave their clothes? If they were in the car, they're gone now. Does that mean they'll be running around in those overalls for awhile?

LMAO! OMG, I was pondering this exact question just last night! (I seriously need to get a life.) I am just hoping they dumped their clothes round the side of the house or something. I mean, sending Tweener off into town with anything they might need in that car would just be unforgiveably stupid (although the writers do seem to like to be making everyone more stupid than strictly necessary this season *eye roll*).Actually good time to bring up the topic of clothes: The guys are wearing overalls. Well, I'm not nicepebbles, but the red shirt is in a few eppies I think. It is when Michael is dealing with the 'Wall of Weird'. I'm sure there's at least a shot of it in 'Brother's Keeper'.What red shirt is that, nicepebbles? I only remember seeing one in some behind-the-scenes footage. Do you remember the episode?
Very true, and oh-so-noticeable that they are doing this!Hair: love how they seem to be using Sara's hair as a barometer for how her life is going. Ddirty, stringy hair = weak, damaged Sara. Shiny, wavy hair = hopeful, strong Sara.
You're not kidding! I know WM doesn't like the 'process' of having it applied, but I see no chance that we're going to see it next episode, which will mean seven episodes without a sniff of the tat (wrist shots do not count). This is just cheating!Tattoo: Wherefore art thou?

Thanks, Mink. I think we only saw it in BK. I have scene shots on him in it on few fans sites.mink: Well, I'm not nicepebbles, but the red shirt is in a few eppies I think. I just wanted to add my other choices for titles:
- Linc, button up! (Not sure how popular that idea is. lol)
- Linc? GQ is not calling (although they really should)

The breakout plans are really the star of the show. Engineer Scofield planned his brother's breakout for a year. His firm was responsible for remodelling the prison where the brother is imprisoned. Blueprints of the prison and all the escape plans were conceived of as a highly elaborate upper body tattoo. This tattoo supposedly took four months to get tattooed before Scofield purposely got himself sent to prison.
As a theatrical tattoo, this is one of the most impressive ever conceived.

All kidding re: seeing WM shirtless aside, I really do think TPTB need to remember this.

Has anyone ever thought of the characters' underwear choices?
And Sara? Perfectly matched bikini panties and lace bra from Victoria's Secret or Agent Provocateur?

I think she is more of a sensible undergarment girl. While the bra and panties might match, they won't be lace. Maybe cotton. Something that she can work long shifts in and that's easy to care for. She's not a lingerie girly-girl.And Sara? Perfectly matched bikini panties and lace bra from Victoria's Secret or Agent Provocateur?

ETA: Does anyone know which pic in the green t-shirt I'm talking about? Perhaps a link? I haven't seen it for a few or a couple of months and love to see it again.

And I don't mind Michael staying in his suit for now. I am patient ... I can wait ... errrrr ... I think.

I think he wears underwear, it would be boxer briefs, but he's been known to freeball when it wasn't necessary. And Bellick? I can totally see it. Now, I have to bleach my eyes.Linc - Freeballing or boxer briefs.
Bellick - Faded Christmas themed boxers from seven years ago.
I'm with you.allhailkingjack: Michael's red shirt was to die for. And I think his ideal underwear choice would be boxer briefs.
DUCK! I kid. Ultimately it doesn't matter what he wears but it's just something about that red shirt.bijoux83: Now, don't go throwing stones at me, but I'm actually kind of meh about that shirt.
I really like him better in dark colors, like here.
This green shirt?
Or this green shirt?

Although, now that I'm thinking about the wardrobe, do you suppose that hat that Michael gave Sucre, and which looked so very fine on Sucre, was for him or Linc? All those clothes were supposed to be for the brothers, after all; I'd love to know how they were going to divvy them up. The hoodie, which I think went to Sucre as well, would probably have gone to Linc, while Abruzzi's high-waters would've gone to Michael, but what of the rest?

Seeing him in that work uniform was a welcome change because he look so damn good in it. Along with his explanation to Jeanette (sp) that ended with getting her juices flowing. I loved that scene. But I digress. Bottom line, I like Michael in anything. Proof - I liked him in the white jumpsuit in the whack shack. I know, I know...I'm strange.
BTW, he was rocking that red shirt. Eventhough I think it's a bit darker than red.
I also like T-Bag's blond hair. And I don't ever want to see Linc's shirt buttoned. The view is just fine.
