No, you post a link to where you've seen it or posted it, eg FF.net, LJ or your own site.

ETA Some folk have issues with FF.net and who they sell ad space to, spyware and stuff. If you have an LJ or somewhere else, I'll have a look...

Other people don't mind the spyware.

Okay. Well, this is one I wrote. It does contain spoilers for the pilot. It is just a short vignette featuring Coach Taylor. If you decide to read it, I would appreciate a review--good or bad. :-)

Just bumping this up here because now that the pilot has aired, maybe some of you would like to read this. It's just my take on what Coach Taylor might have done immediately after the episode ended.

Ok, I'm desperate for more fanfiction for this show. I mean, how have we had 6 episodes, but only 2 stories?? Both stories are fantastic though.

I suck at writing fanfic. Like really suck. But even I might need to break out the creative juices soon if no one wants to come to my rescue ::sniffle::

Stele3: It was me that commented as anon on your lj page-- for whatever reason I couldn't get my account to work and let me comment. But I will second what I said there and add this HOT. HOT. HOT.

Consider this me pleading for more fanfic :-)

Hey, break out the creative juices, by all means! If you want a beta, I'd be more than willing.

I would love to write another fanfic for this show, but haven't had a good idea yet. Well, I sort of have, but it probably wouldn't fit into this show.

There are people on LJ starting to talk about FNL fic. I recc'ed your story Stele3, so hopefully that will inspire more people to write! I have all these plot bunnies running around in my head, so hopefully something creative will pop out one of these days!

Ok, so I bit the bullet and wrote my very first FNL fanfic.

He missed him.

Title: He missed him.
Fandom: Friday Night Lights
Pairing: Jason Street/Tim Riggins
Rating: R, just to be safe. M/M implied relationship but no sex. Barely even touching.
Disclaimer: I do not own Friday Night Lights. God bless Peter Berg and NBC. May they make money off of FNL for many seasons to come.

Author's Notes: This is a scene filler for the last episode, 1.6.

Warnings: Slash. Serious angst.

I want to bump this up. I'm seeing some great fic getting started and feel called to make a couple of recs.

Marianna is writing some really nice Tim/Lyla stuff. I especially like her latest, Hold on, Hold on.

The Make-up by YOKJML

This one's a Jason/Tim story, adult in theme and content, but if that's your thing, it's going to make you VERY happy.

And another entry in the Jason/Tim world is Man Up by Hackthis. Great look at how Tim and Jason became friends...and more.

In case anyone craves Matt/Julie, I have found two so far, both well-written and, in the spirit of the 'ship, adorable and sweet.

Thanks for the rec, kristy922 - that was sweet and well-done.

I just realized that all three Matt/Julie fics have so far been all about their first date. Not that I'm complaining - this good 'ship makes me squee like no other 'ship before.

I can't believe that after the last episode there aren't any new stories pouring in. Of course, I'm not a writer, so I'm not complaining, just wishing. Also does anyone know of any other good Matt/Julie stories, I can't find any besides the three linked in here, which I have definately enjoyed.

nextian, I posted a list of all the Matt/Julie goodies (fics, vids, etc) that I could find on an LJ page of Matt_Julie livejournal community. There's one new fic on the last episode so far, and there are a few more fics other than the three fics listed on this thread.
