This is something I've been thinking about since rewatching the episode. Peter said something about not being able to fix the leak. Originally I just thought he meant he couldn't fix it on the run, but I now think he means at all. Does anyone remember what Sarah said about running on the knee without fluid?
Regarding the hydraulic leak, I would think that that's a tough one to fix. You'd have to be able to plug the leak and also find the right kind of hydraulic fluid and it's doubtful that that's readily available.

Here's a trick I use to open stubborn jars. First, grab a butter knife. Turn it so the blunt edge is facing down. Now smack the (edges of the) lid of the jar in like 3 places, each about the same distance from the next. For some reason, as I'm physics-challenged and I can't give you some scientific reason, this 99.9% of the time will get the lid to twist off.

Also, for the jars thing, a Jar Opener, essentially a textured piece of rubber that makes for a much more comfortable and even grip, works awesome.

A couple random thoughts. On the brick laying task, it would have been nice if they'd done some overhead camera shots. I mean straight down, so we could see and compare how the teams were doing. Shooting from a standing hieght didn't give enough perspective.
If Bil'el & Saiied had lasted, I wonder if they would have accepted assistence ie; putting on the safty harnesss to climb the wall from a woman, or if they would have waited for a man, if putting on the harness meant touching.
I agree withMiss Alli, it's time to raise the prize money. $280,000. is nice, but it's not Amazing. ( $5,000 minus 40% short term capital gains tax) Obviously TPTB end up spending that much housing & entertaining the teams that go out early. The Prize money should be more.

"Why's she getting on before all of us?"
"She has an artificial leg."
"Oh. [beat] Well, that's no excuse."
As for the camera cut, that's editing and could have been anything.
Lyn & Karlyn, on the other hand, were shown actually specifically bitching about it in reasonable detail and more unambiguous terms. Not saying that Tyler & James are righteous and upstanding gentlemen here, but I can't really tell from the editing.
