I have to give the artist credit, a Hero sandwich as the art? Creative.

Ooh, I like sandwiches. Nice picture! I am so glad that this show is getting recaped, because it one of my most antipicipated of new season (along with The Nine.) I like the Lost-ish vibe it seems to be giving, and Greg Grunberg is one of my favorite TV actors. So thanks Glark!

Well, the guy ripping his shirt over was optioned to Smallville. If TPTB knew then what they know now, I'm sure the clip art would be figures of Clark and Lex holding hands in a cornfield.

Hi, I'm Lantern7. I'm a comic book geek, and the greatest number of my posts wind up in the Cartoons forum. And I'm intrigued to see what Heroes brings to the table. Oh, and if I end up winning the "guess the shows" contest, I'd be willing to homage the commerical where the otaku stops time and yells "I DID IT!" in his cubicle. That's a cute teaser right there.

I guessed wrong on Six Degrees but I was right about Heroes. I actually thought Heroes was a lock to be recapped.

I like the more sci-fi shows over procedurals or reality shows so I'll definitley watch until it gets cancelled. But I can't say I'm enthused. In fact I don't like any of the actors on this show, Milo and the girl who plays Claire specifically.

Not only am I glad to see this show's getting recapped, but I'm happy to see Erin's recapping. Snarky times are ahead.

Now I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope it manages to distinguish itself from Lost.

And Lantern7? That teaser is my favorite.

I'm not super bit into SciFi, but I really really want to see this one. And I like Erin a lot... so in here to atleast give it a try. But I've already decided I'm going to give every show TwoP picks up an episode try.

I liked the teaser a lot too, but none of the cast really brings me in.

Hey all - I'm excited for the Erin recap action on this show as well. I'm very intrigued by the promos, and I'm curious where this show will go.

Anyway, I usually post all over the place - most of the summer I could be found in the World Series of Pop Culture (under Game Shows) thread.

Ooo, Lantern7, great to see your snark over here. I'm a Smallville, er, fan as well.

I was definitely not into scifi either, until this past November when I discovered the wonderfulness that is the Whedonverse. (Unless Lost counts as scifi). But this show seems incredibly intriguing.

Aaand I'm three for three! And I couldn't be more excited to have beaten my performance last year. And seeing as I was completely unaware of this show until those incessant promos during Treasure Hunters, I'm pretty thankful I started watching that.

"Believe it or not, I'm walking on air."

Now I am hungry for a sandwich. I can't wait to see all these ordinary people finding that they have super powers. Wouldn't it be cool, if we all discovered super powers. I would like the super powers of chocolate.

I'm so excited this show is being recapped. I have high hopes for it, especially since I've discovered a newfound love for Milo Ventimiglia. Plus, Erin is one of my favorite recappers.

Oooh, me too! I am very excited about that, 'cause I wasn't around last year. My other picks I think are kind of iffy though.

And Erin's recapping? Yay! Her snarky goodness was the only thing that kept Alias alive for me.

Me too. Something strange is happening because I think I just beat last years guesses.

Not sure what I think about the whole Heroes premise. I might check it out to see if it's any good.

I'm looking good so far as well with my guesses! However.. purple.. color scheme..? Blech.. well, actually, maybe it rather suits this show, from what I've seen of the pilot episode.

And Erin recapping? That's going to be awesome.. because there's definitely high levels of cheese going on and she'll make it exponentially funnier to watch! Can't wait!

Woo! I'm three for three, too. And, I'm acutally pretty excited about this one, it looks neat (assuming it is not written by anyone associated with Windfall).

The Nine will probably be my kryptonite. It seemed like I was the only one not guessing it. But, the premise just sounds so lame I think they'll cancel it 20 minutes in and end the hour with the Gaither Gospel Hour.

Ohhh, I hope you're wrong, since I'm three for three myself, and I didn't guess The Nine.

It looks like a smear of pastrami, some pre-processed slabs of cheese, and some quickly deteriorating vegetables skewered by cellophane-tipped toothpicks. That's the icon above, not (necessarily) the show...but with Erin Recapping it, I'm in. Awesome.

Yeah, it can't be a good omen when the show is inheriting Charmed's color scheme. That's like moving into the Amityville House.

I can't wait for this show. I love the idea of an X-Men premise but set in real life. The lack of a unifying, knowledgeable leader like Professor Xavier makes it that much more realistic and creates angst and drama like no other.

I'm a big sci-fi fan in general so I'm excited to see a premise as "comic-booky" as this make it on a major network. Plus Milo (can we just call him Not!Jesse?) sure brings the pretty.

And my favorite trailer so far? It's the one when the cheerleader picks herself up after throwing herself off a skywalk, pops her shoulder back in, and says to the camera, "That's the sixth time."

At the very least, I'm hoping that this show makes up for the stillborn Mercy Reef and Ultra pilots. Also, I don't see any tights...give credit to SV for that.

As for the game...I'm also 3-for-3, but I'm living in fear that Ugly Betty will take off her glasses and pop me in the face for not picking her show.

Hey, I'mm 3 for 3, too! My big worry is that at the last minute I switched Shark to Smith. Or maybe it was the other way around. Is it bad I can't remember which? All of the shows this year have single word titles, and I am getting so confused. And do they really expect me to remember the difference between Kidnapped and Vanished?

Yay, so far I'm still in the pool, but then again Heroes was a lock anyway. Now it gets tricky.

And Erin is recapping? I love her and now I'll have to watch. I wasn't going to after seeing the pilot (it bored me, and just like jeyseyfield I didn't really like any characters), which was great since I watch too much anyway.

Well, I predicted Heroes but crashed out the competition for not picking Six Degrees. Stupid Abrams.

The pilot was average, but there's plenty room for improvement.

Me too! And this is my first ever time guessing! And I'm a Brit and never even heard of any of these shows before guessing! But I know Vanished is gonna get me, I can't believe I picked Kidnapped instead.

And Erin is recapping! Her Alias S4 recaps are sheer snarky brilliance. I'm excited about the premise, I'm excited about the recapper, I'm so signing on for this show.

Out of interest, is the sandwich next to the name "Heroes" just a filler until a real icon is made, or is there a character called SandwichGirl? *prays for the latter*

I just can't wait for this show. I like iconic superheroes a little better than tortured superheroes, but I love stories about how superheroes actually come to terms with their powers, so this show holds a lot of promise for me. Looks like a great cast so far, and with the budget and staff, it has the potential to tell the type of coming-to-grips story that other superhero shows haven't told very well (yeah, yeah, Smallville, I'm talkin' to you; you hear me?).

In short: squee!

Three for three!

I'm interested in this show mainly because I'm a geek. Superheroes are my thing. How can I resist?

I'm also 3-for-3, but I'm living in fear that Ugly Betty will take off her glasses and pop me in the face for not picking her show.

I'm more frightened of Shark biting me in the butt for removing it in favor of Men in Trees.
