Jenna is not blogging these days because she is away shooting a movie in Chicago. I am puzzled though because I read the show started filming again this week though so I hope it doesn't mean she is MIA (or not very present) for a few episodes.

Morning Angel, I had that thought as well. Pam used up all her vacation days already this year, so it'd have to be sick days if she was going to be out of the office...

but this thread is about Jenna, so -- Jenna Fischer is awesome and I want to have her babies. There.

I think she said something about that earlier, that she was front loaded on the movie schedule or something. If not, maybe they could film scenes from a few eps all at once that don't involve her, until she can get there?

And speaking of Pam's vacation days, did she use ALL of them? At first I thought so too (when she says she tries to save them as long as she can and this year lasted until the 3rd week in January. But then I decided she just meant she tries to wait to START using them. I mean, she'd have to save some for her honeymoon right?

Good point, appletree - I'm not sure. According to twiztv.com, she says "I get ten vacation days a year. And I try to hold off taking them for as long as possible. And this year I got to the third week in January."

So it makes sense that she'd use 5 for a total of one week at the Poconos and hold off on the other 5.

Regarding Jenna posing nude for “Jane.” I usually get put off by posing nude. Not because I’m a total prude, but because today society has such a narrow definition of what makes a woman attractive. And today it’s a totally pornified/stripper look-emaciated body with huge bowling ball sized implants, fake tan, hair extensions, and collagen-filled lips. I would hardly call old school Hollywood a time of great diversity in America, but at least the famous actresses weren’t as interchangeable as they are now. Would anyone mistake Marilyn Monroe for Audrey Hepburn? Of course not; they were both beautiful women.

And speaking of Marilyn Monroe, I was watching a show about her in photographs and what I loved about her cheesecake shots were they were so fun, joyful, sweet, and warm. Hmm, fun, joyful, sweet, and warm. Sounds just like Jenna!

They actually showed the various images from the Jane spread on E! last night, including Jenna's. I think that alone lets you know how not graphic they are, especially since they didn't have to censor a thing. Jenna's image in particular is of her standing in front of a window and grasping a sheet to her chest while looking over her shoulder at the camera. All you see is the curve of her backside. Her hair isn't dolled up, in fact it looks like they simply ran a brush through it and her makeup is very natural. I'm not sure if there are more pictures in the spread, but judging by the images they've shown, the whole shoot is pretty classy.

I think she looks better more natural anyway. In fact that pretty much applies to most women I find attractive. There'll always be exceptions of course ... can't think of one right now, but I'm sure there will be.

She's so beautiful in a wonderfully natural way, and she seems to be an awesome person, too. I love that she loves and rescues animals. She could totally be my BFF! Except that she's way cooler than me.

I think a tastefully-done nude photo is acceptable now and again...if she's starts baring her lollilovelies in Stuff or FHM, however, we may need to have a talk with her.

She IS thin, but...sizes are really out of whack nowadays. The "size 2" of today would have been at least a 6 even 10 years ago. I am 28 and just found an old shirt I bought during college that is a Large. Literally EVERY shirt I buy now is an XS. WTF clothing industry? I don't think they way to help the obesity issue is to underrate sizes[/rant]

appletree, you are right about sizes. The more you pay for a garment, the thinner you suddenly become. It's a miracle!
