I can't find the existing Cowboy thread, it appears to have been wiped.

I am resigned to the fact that this Tooliest of Tools, Idiot of Idiots, Lump of Lumps is going to be on the show. If Nakomis hadn't agreed to reappear he'd have zero chance, but because she's going to be there, I'm sure the producers aren't going to pass up the chance to try to force these two to reconcile. Gag.

I'm going to have to mute whenever he's on because his voss make mah airs blad.

Does anyone still have the link to his wedding website? I remember that his wife was wearing some kind of purple monstrosity straight out of a 1980s prom that made her bear an uncanny resemblance to Grimace.

I don't think he will make it.

First, hardly anyone will vote for him.

Second, the producers won't put him in. He only got in the first time because they stumbled on a highly unusual situation where two candidates shared a parent and didn't know it. I don't think he would have gotten past the first stages otherwise if he couldn't be part of an imagined shocking twist that pretty much fell flat. Actually, I don't think Nakomis would have either, but as it turned out she was cool, played strategy, and developed a decent fan base, and is a legitimate All Star candidate. Not so for Cowboy.

If they feel they need to include a guileless just-folks flunky from the heartland, they will go with George.

I honestly don't know how he made the 20 cut anyway, maybe they were testing the waters to see if America wants to see how his and Nakomis's relationship has developed. America isn't biting as far as I can tell.

I hope you're right, but he's been referred to as a "fan favorite" on sites like TV Guide.

With any luck, he won't get the opportunity to Cowboy Up ever again.

Really?? What the hell have I been missing?

I can't imagine anyone wanting to watch this goober cry it up and try to wax philosophically for another summer.

I doubt he'll be on. I've seen his website. Dude has 7 registrants.
On his other official website (I know), he has 6 friends from Canada, and 31 friends from the US (3 are Drew, Roddy, and that other horse guy).

I doubt he'll get the numbers to get in!

I could almost see the producers letting him in should Nakomis get an audience's choice spot, if only to piss her off and get every penny's worth from that twist.

That's why I think he's pretty assured of a producer's spot. They love Nakomis and either she gets in by fan vote or producer's choice. With her in the house, the chances of him going in increase exponentially.

Without Nakomis => almost nil. With Nakomis => pretty certain. That's how I see it, unfortunately I am preparing to be irritated by this schmuck for the whole summer.

Y'know, Cowboy, for all is crocodile tears re: getting Nakomis out was pretty cold when it came down to it.

In fact, when getting rid of everyone, afterwards he'd pull Bunkies on us. Unlike Bunky, though, I never believed the tears were too genuine.

I never understood why he voted Nakomis out over Diane. Diane never would have taken him to the end and Drew was back and forth on who to take until the end. If he had chosen Nakomis, either of them would have chosen him to be in the final 2, no question. I guess it doesn't matter now since he did make final 2, just wondering what made him think Diane was the better option?

I personally like to think Cletus the Slack-Jawed Cowboy was influenced by Diane's Plan A and Plan B, both skillfully camoflaged in underwire and lace.

I thought he voted out Nakomis instead of Diane because he was in lurrrrrvvvveee with Drew. Well, you know, he just loved the fact that these cool, good looking, frat boy types like Drew and Scott and Jase actually wanted to be friends with him. It was probably the first time in his life that he had actually felt accepted and like he was part of the "cool crowd".

So of course he's going to keep Diane over his sister. Diane was pretty, part of the cool crowd, and most importantly, Drew's "girlfriend". Cowboy would have done anything to please Drew.

It was a really stupid move, because I think if he had kept Nakomis instead of Diane, then he had more of a chance of looking like he was thinking with strategy. I don't think he would have won the money no matter who he went up against, but at least this way he wouldn't have alienated his sister.

I don't know, I don't think the producers would put Cowboy in just because Nakomis is in the house. They barely interacted when they were in the house together last time around; I just don't see the potential for high drama between those two. It doesn't seem that their relationship has changed much since they got out of the house, and I think Nakomis would ignore him (as would any sane individual).

Cowboy just about ruined Season 5 for me. Every week I hoped for his eviction, and every week it became clear that there were bigger fish to fry and he was not going anywhere. He, Diane and Drew were the worst final three ever, IMO. I know some people want him back in for entertainment value, but for me, laughing at his idiocy does not outweigh the pain of looking at him and listening to him talk.

I think that's exactly it. He'd rather fit in with the "cool people", than establish any kind of bond with his own sister. Ugh... Sounds like he still acts that way toward her too.

I see it this way as well. Dude's probably never been with the in crowd; I'm willing to bet that he's never even found the on-ramp to cool, so it stands to reason that he'd rather hang out with the frat boys. Nakomis, on the other hand, must seem like an alien to him, considering his way of life. I always thought he was happy to have found a sister, but that he would have been a little happier if his sister looked like Holly.

Too bad no one explained to him that hanging out with two "straight" guys who enjoy bathing together can be seen as being just as marginal as having a sister with green hair, piercings and tats. Oh, and who enjoys fetish balls and seeing people in tit clamps. I for one am all about putting Cowboy's head in a tit clamp.

I always felt a little sorry for cowboy. They guy was dumb as a box of hair. It was clear that he was so in love with the idea that he was part of the cool crowd that nothing else really mattered to him. He's like that kid in high school who wants so bad to be part of the group that he's willing to be the butt of their jokes and do their homework for them.

I hope he doesn't get back in. He just makes me too sad.

True. The little guy was sort of pathetic in that way. This is the real thing that hooks me anyway, about BB...the hamsters' tendency to form these really bizarre cliques that'd rarely occur in real life.

And I guess they don't, because usually people part ways after the show is over. Poor Cowboy. It's almost like he's be trying to reclaim the past.

Although, if he whines about missing the wife and Chason, I'll be tempted to walk into that house and slap him upside the head. Really.

Well, maybe Scott....

You guys remember those baths he used to take with Cowboy? And this is from a guy who rarely showered while in the house(and it was a little over a month!) so nasty!

That is hysterical. Even though he was and probably still is a pathetic little dipshit, he does have his funny moments. I can never get enough of seeing him trying to dance and land on his ass.

Can you imagine Cowturd in the house with Janelle? She will eat him alive. Now I am re-thinking my voting. I may want him in there after all.

Okay, I'll voice my unpopular opinion.

I don't hate Cowboy. I actually somewhat like him. His love for his fiancee and future-stepson sort of endeared me to him. I thought it was sweet that he wanted to give Chason everything that he didn't have as a child, since he grew up without a father. Yeah, he was pathetic and spineless (although he did call Drew out on a few occasions for turning on Jase)... But I thought he was an okay guy.

Honestly, I was kind of creeped out by how much he was into Chason. It just seemed weird to me. Danielle was a mother of two - Kent a father of two - Sheryl a mother of two - and none of them showed the level of hysteria and attachment that Cowboy did Chason. I felt bad and icked out for the kid who had clearly gotten wrapped up in this bond as evidenced by his equal display of hysteria.

Hee. I think though, that it was the same thing at play again...Cowboy's need to belong. You know how some kids are of Chason's age...they're very sweet and think adults are wonderful before they hit the teenage years and become paranoid psychos (it's the hormones, not the kids).

Also, I think the fact that his father suddenly appeared on the scene brought back all of those lonely years. I mean, I have to respect Cowboy for not wanting Chason to be without a father figure. Poor l'il Cowpoke.

I was thinking who played the worst Big Brother game out of those who made it far? I would say the top four has to be Jee, Howie, Diane, and Cowboy. But honestly did Cowboy really play all that bad of a game? Sure he rode Drew's coat tails and had no idea what he was doing. However, he did make it to the finals and that in and of itself makes his game worth something. I would tend to lean towards Jee as the worst player ever as he was just as clueless as Cowboy if not more so.

And yeah he was totally the unpopular guy who got to be cool for one summer. And if he makes it back in the house he will probably be around for awhile.

I'd say Jee was a worse player. Cowboy did nothing, but Jee was actively bad. Twice as HoH, Jee tried to get Erika booted and failed, losing his own ally as a "pawn" in the process. He got power-mad each time he was HoH, winning vetos he had absolutely no use for and other nonsense. Cowboy's strategy may have been no more than "keep quiet and do what the popular boys say," but at least he could follow it successfully. Every game move Jee made was a failure, and if I remember right, Jun canned his ass about week 8, so he barely made the jury. There's not really much comparison between the two, except that they were both dumb as posts.

I don't hate him either. I thought he was just a naive kid who was in way over his head. He didn't do anything great in the game but he wasn't too offensive either (except the stupid cowboy hat thing--you know what I mean.) And he was lucky that Drew chose him instead of Diane to go to finals. No way would he have won but he did manage to get 3 votes so he did better than Alison, Nicole or Danielle. I don't think he belongs in the pit of vipers who'll be entering the house this summer. They'll eat him alive.

I agree one hundred percent with that statement. If he gets in the house he will make it far. There is not a doubt in my mind about that. He and Bunky (I did not see season two but read the recaps) seem to be the ultimate keep them becasue they will vote blindly players. What I mean by that is once you have either one of them in your alliance they will follow you around like a puppy dog and vote whatever way you want them to. Now they may break away if you do something to them. However, for the most part they are loyal to a fault.

In his video pitch, Bunky at least indicated that he'd be willing to change his gameplay this time and be more deviant. I don't think Cowboy would. I think he'd get in an alliance and stick with it.

With Cowboy at least, it's almost as though he realizes he's not a great competitor or master strategist (or even an only mildly inept strategist), so his only course of action is to try to be a decent person and hope that other people get the boot first.
