I've shamelessly stolen this from several of the other boards!

This is another simple yet surprisingly fun and addictive game: Someone makes a wish such as, "I wish Francie liked coffee ice cream." Someone else corrupts this wish with, for example, "Granted! But she becomes so obsessed with coffee ice cream that she ignores her friends and Will really does become a heroin addict."

Then the person who 'granted' the above wish makes one of their own, and so on. It's perfect for snarky TWoPers, and brings new meaning to the adage 'be careful what you wish for'!

I'll start us off with....

I wish Vaughn had never married Lauren.

Granted! But he married Alice instead.

I wish that the "missing" two years had never happened.

Granted! But Sydney was abducted by the Covenant without the memory erasing part. The show just became about her working as Julia Thorne and we never saw any of the original cast again.

I wish Sloane wasn't "good" in seasons 3 and 4.

Granted! But in an evil, Rambaldi-induced paranoia, he killed Jack and married Irina.

I wish that Vaughn hadn't been "killed" at the beginning of Season 5.

Granted. But then Vaughn would have run off with Renee and left Sydney and the baby.

I wish Weiss hadn't been shot in the neck.

Granted! But Vaughn got shot instead and dies and Weiss and Sydney ended up together.

I wish Irina was not all-out evil in the series finale.

Granted! But instead she went with Syd/Jack/Vaughn to stop Sloane. In an effort to save Jack she tackled Sloane and ran right into Clifford and was turned into a Red-Eyed Zombie.

I wish we had gotten to see some Sarkney action.

Granted! But then we learn that Sark is actually Katya's son, and Sydney got busy with her cousin. Blech.

I wish that Nadia was Jack's daughter.

Granted! But then we find out that her mother is actually Emily Sloane.

I wish they showed Vaughn's mother.

Granted! But then Vaughn's mom and Irina fall madly in love/lust, and head out to take over the world together.

I wish Irina had been behind the S5 Vaughnapping.

Granted! But then Vaughn got Stockholm Syndrome. And... yeah. I'll stop there.

I wish Will hadn't been put in Witness Protection following Season 2.

Granted! He passed all the tests and became a field agent.....where he got shot in the neck.....and died.

I wish Dixon and Director Chase had gotten together in S5.

I wish that Jack had only blown up Sloane, not himself.

Granted! But the Sloane-parts were drenched in Rambaldi goo, forming new mini-Sloanes with the urge to dominate the world and run around shirtless.

I wish Jack had killed Cuvee instead of just beating on him.

Granted! But his dying words were "Tell Sydney I'm so sorry I never got to know her as my daughter."

I wish Rambaldi had made an appearance.

Granted, but then we would have found out that Jack was Rambaldi all the time and then he really would have had to explain the obession he had with his daughter. Ad nasuem while Syd kept yelling at him and hurling statements like the cologne one.

I wish that they didn't take down SD-6 in season 2.

Granted, but then we found out Vaughn was actually the head of it.

I wish Sark had been Irina and Sloane's kid, instead of Nadia.

I wish Daddy Vaughn wasn't dead.

Granted. But then we would have found that he was actually a Follower of Rambaldi and he would have joined with Sloane and caused Syd and Vaughn hell.

I wish that Renee didn't die.

Granted! But instead of joining Syd & the CIA, she hooks up with Sloane, Sark & Peyton.....a realllly bad-ass group.

I wish Anna hadn't died.

Granted. But when she tried to turn herself back into Anna, she turned herself into Vaughn.

I wish we had actually seen Irina during season three.

Granted! But they would have executed her for beating the living tar out of Lauren with her bare hands.

I wish Weiss & Nadia ended up together.

Granted! But then Vaughn would have murdered 'his' Weiss in a jealous rage.

I wish Emily hadn't revealed the CIA wire to Sloane when Sydney et al were waiting outside the villa.

Granted! But then she eventually finds out about Nadia, murders Sloane in a rage, becomes Rambaldi-obsessed in her remorse, and hassles the gang as Aunt Inappropriate.

I wish Vaughn would've beat up on Sark more.

Granted! But then, both he and Sark would have decided that they reaaaaly like it, and instead of being a soap opera, the last half of Season 3 would have turned into one giant Vark slash movie.

Granted. But then, all she would do would be talk about boullibaise recipes.

I wish Syd and Vaughn had hooked up before SD-6 was taken down, and had a few clandestine "meetings" in that damn warehouse.

Granted. But then Sydney would have found Jack "interrogating" Irina against the chain link fence and Syd would still be curled up in full fetal wondering why Dad was trying to kill Mom THAT WAY. (An eyebrow waggle is implicit.)

I wish we'd seen the passive transmitter scene in ADT.

Granted! But the truth of the matter was that Jack knew Irina would expect him to do something like that, so he had Marshall "accidentally" implant it after he implanted the other transmitter. Irina just thought Marshall was being a little creep and told Jack he'd better kill Marshall at a later date.

I wish Nadia hadn't turned into a zombie.
