Peplow, you seem to be ignoring a lot of the actual spoilers that are being posted here by repeating what we already seem to know are your viewpoints about Amy/Rory/River this coming series. I posted answers to your last queries in the post above yours.

The Weeping Angels can be stopped and probably will in the episode in question but not before they've done their bit.

According to DWM, pre-production for the Christmas special has also started as well, so it won't be too long before filming starts on it (another fortnight give or take) and we should then know who Jenna-Louise Coleman is playing.

Christmas specials are allways good. Doctor will need the "gift" of a new freind.
Look forward to finding out who else will be in it and what kind of threat the doctor and his new companion will be facing. Then 2013 will be the build up to the big 50th anniversary.Would love it if Captain Jack shows up.

There's a possibility we might be getting Series 7 earlier after all. The Media Guardian Edinburgh TV festival on the 23-25th August will have a exclusive preview screening of the Doctor Who Series 7 premier. Intriguing that. More details here

Had a feeling we would be getting it in september.
Will probably be the same next year with the second half of S7 being screened just before and on the 50th anniversary novemeber 23rd. Be a long summer but hopefully be worth it to give Amy and Rory a good send off.

Actually, it's not going to be that long really. Think about it, another three and a half months, long-ish but we've already had four months pass since the last episode that aired.

I think August/September will air the final Amy/Rory episodes, then the Christmas special in December with the new companion and the remaining eight episodes in 2013, along with other episodes being filmed next year as well.

Oh and it seems that Karen and Arthur finish filming tomorrow as well according to their Twitter pages.

This concerns episode 7.3 a western possible title "Gun Slinger" the one they filmed in spain.
Amy is waving a gun around and shooting bullets everywhere till they shout at her to stop.

No offence but she is not a very good shot. 6.1 TIA she tries to take out the "space man" not knowing she would have killed her own daughter if she hadn't missfired and only hit the helmet."I'm sorry I shot you I'm glad I missed but you killed the doctor or you're going to kill him".

Second time she nearly commits fillicide was Demons Run points a gun at River demanding to know what she had told the doctor Rory dissarms her just in time. River was pretty cool about it "she's good she's fine".

She tells the doctor he has been taking "stupid lessons " since their last adventure wonder what he did to deserve that?. Also liked when he gets chucked over the town border. Never seems to get a warm welcome does he?.

Morale of the story violence is bad and don't have weapons if you don't know how to use them properly. Cause more problems then they solve. Look forward to seeing this air in september.

Filming for the Christmas episode is due to start next week but it seems that Jenna-Louise Coleman is already in Cardiff ahead of it.

There's some rumblings on GallifreyBase that it might be a ghost story but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Oh and in 7x04, it seems that Amy and Rory are celebrating their second anniversary.

Ok can some help me with this ? 7.4 possibe title "Cubed" takes place on 26.6.2012 Amys and Rorys 2nd wedding anniversary

However in 6.14 TDTWATW They climed it had been 2 years since the doctors "death" meaning it was December 25th 2013
nearly 3 years since Utah when they last saw him.

Also River time line and is tied in with the others. Started university in 5123 so she would have graduated in 5127 or 28 where she was attacked by Kavarian and silence. She was still in prison in 5145 when she went to help in TPO.

Meaning her marriage and prison sentence last at least 17 years . Long time do we reallly think in nearly 20 years noone would have worked out that he was still alive ?. He admitied himself he stays out of trouble "badly".

Knowing the Doctor, he's probably seeing Amy/Rory in the wrong order during Series 7, though Moffat did say in an interview each time he sees them, they're getting older.

5.13 BB Outise Amys old house after the wedding Doctor "Who are you River ?"
River Song "You're going to find out soon (9 months 3 weeks to be exact) and I'm sorry but that's when everything changes"

Have their lives really changed all that much since Utah ? .Geographiclly yes but it also means the "family" of Doctor and 3 Ponds has also fragmented. Amy and Rory are back in Ledworth being "normal" and River bless her is cooling her high heels in the lovely facilities of Storm Cage maximum security prison.
$64000 question is what has the doctor been up to in that time ?. He has been declared legally "dead" so it must be quiet liberating for him. Got the silence and his many other enemies through time and space off his back.

What does a mad man in a blue box to do with himself then?. Maybe he can go back to doing some actual proper "doctoring"?.Allways going to be lives he can save and new babies he can help deliver.
Human biology doesn't change but medical science and technology does.Hope he keeps updated.
Also does he do other species as well or just specialise in humans?. Curious about his calling and qualifications that's all.

6.11 GC Rita does ask him if he is a "proper" doctor he says he is. Apparently he also has another qualification something to do with cheese.Ok it might be more of aa metaphor but he does try to heal and help. So one could argue the people he meets are his "patients". Like a real doctor sometimes he is sucsessfull other times not sadly he has lost people he tried to save.

Treated Cleaves clot in 6.6 AH and did try to do a birth plan with Amy before she had Meldoy.
Also has had other medical professionals as companions Martha was a doctor before she changed carrers then he met Rory a nurse.Wonder how many he will save in S7.

He referenced cheese making in The God Complex as did Rita.

There's rumours from the Daily Star (less reliable than other tabloids) that 7x02 is called Dinosaurs On A Spaceship and there's also rumours that Jenna's character will be called Clara, though that has not been confirmed. That episode is also supposed to feature Howard Carter (Rupert Graves character) and Nefertiti.

However this has been confirmed ...

Doctor Who Official ‏@bbcdoctorwho

History has been made! A new era begins! Jenna-Louise Coleman has just completed her first #DoctorWho read-through. One word. Brilliant!

So hopefully we'll know very soon the name of Jenna's character and get a photoshoot with her and Matt Smith as well.

Oh and there's a mini-episode as well on Thursday on BBC1 around 4.30pm.

Been thinking of the episode before the Ponds leave 7.4 possible title "Cubed"
Doctor has somethign in common with Henry VIII. He has also been a bit off a ladies man.
Ironic a early translation off the word "companion" could also mean "wife" got that from the Da Vinci Code.
Doctor has had different relationships with each companion. Rose,Martha,Donna,Amy and River. Each woman has taught him and given him different things.

Famous rhyme about Henrys 6 Queeens "Divorced (Catherine of Arragon) ,beheaded (Anne Boleyn)
died (Jane Seymour),divorced (Anne of Cleaves), beheaded (Katherine Howard), survived (Katherine Parr)". Henry called his last queen "Kate" and script calls the queen in cubed "Kate" too. So we will probably be seeing Henry at the end of his life and reign.

Between marriages Henry also had affairs with others. Our doctor has also met a lot of people.
Cleopatra met and "mentioned" him. Even eloped with Elizabeth 1 Henrys own daughter and had a brief union with Marilyn Monroe in the 50s. Reckon it will be hard for him to avoid another trip to the tower!.

7.5 untitled the Ponds swan song. Showdown with the weeping angels. Funny how in 3.10 "Blink" their victims didn't seem to mind what they did to them. Katherine Nightingale and Billy Shipton were both sent back in time to live to eventuall death from old age. Sally Sparrow was more upset she cared about them and missed them being with her in the present. How will Rory react to having his life stole?. Have to wait and see.

Interesting aside Amy and Rory seem to be going through a really bad patch before this. Rory even seems to be filing for a divorce on the day he is sent to 30's New York. After everything they have survived what could cause them to want to break up ?.Also considering how much therapy she had as a kid can't blame Amy for not wanting to go to Relate for marriage guidance counselling.

River returns too. Probably trying to help find her dad.We supposedly see them fail and Rory does die and is buried. Sort of a reverse GWW. They run out of time. Ironic there is so much but so little of it. Amy and Rory are soulmates. They are suppose to spend their lives together.Maybe seeing their daughter will help. Remind them of why they fell in love in the first place and what that love can do.

Final stage of grief is the hardest accepting the person is gone and not coming back. Do we really think Amy,River or the doctor would ever accept losing Rory?.Even if it means ripping the universe apart (again!). Hope he pulls of two miracles if he can stop the break up he can save Rory from his terrible fate. Best parting gift he can give them. A second chance to live and be happy.

There's more rumours that the Christmas special will be a ghost story. Jenna's started filming but we still don't know her character's name.

Peplow - Rory files for divorce in episode 1, he's in New York in episode 5. Within episodes 2, 3 and 4, him and Amy are in a good place with each other and are still married to each other, which I posted in other pages.

Like the idea of a ghost themed christmas specail. Seems appropriate in wintertime to thing of scary things.
Also rumors of an egyptian episode with Howard Carter the man who discovered Tutankamans tomb. Imagining the Doctor and his new companion having to fight mummies and evil ancient gods!.

Peplow, the Egyptian episode you've mentioned is the second one, rumoured to be titled Dinosaurs On A Spaceship and that one features Amy, Rory and the latter's father Brian as well as Neffertiti as well. I think Rupert Graves is playing Howard Carter in it as well but that hasn't been confirmed yet.

As for the episode currently being filmed now, I found this on GB ...

So with filming reported in Eddies's Diner again (last seen in The Impossible Astronaut) are they back at "Lake Sillencio" - seems a little unlikely that it would feature as somewhere else with the distinctive decor! TARDIS in the back alley, like before, too. Hmm!

Might finally get some answers then. Assuming the question hidden is plain sight is about the doctors real identity.
What could be so bad or dangerous about a name ?.

Also 11 is suppose to "fall" in the fields of trenzalore. Doesn't mean he will actully "die" maybe just lose his powers or something.

Think we need some lose ends tied up for the 50th anniversary.Jenny for example is he ever going to find out that she is still alive ?. Also Captain Jack has to come back for it.

We're not getting anything on Trenzalore/Fall Of The 11th until later, so probably not until the 50th anniversary to be honest.

I don't think we'll ever learn the Doctor's real name either. I don't think one would be cool enough to devise to be honest.

Jenny's not an important plot strand at all. Yes, it would be nice to see again briefly but she was meant as a one-off character and I'm sure the main priority will be Jenna's character for the latter half of Series 7 to a large degree.

Jack will probably be back as well, I know John Barrowman certainly wants to return according to some of his more recent interviews.

Would you lot like some new news, I have the new DWM (issue 448), honestly I swear the papershop in Salford precinct is in another time zone set one day in the future or something heh.

According to the new DWM the episode they are filming now isn't the Christmas special (that will be filmed later in the year), it isn't even the first ep to be shown in 2013. Ep filming now is written by Neil Cross new to DW and former head writer of spooks and its directed by Jamie Payne.

According to SM's production notes in ep 4 Rory at one point is working in a hospital filmed in the same place that Rory was working in The eleventh Hour but it is actually this time a different hospital not in Leadworth.

Sometimes rules can be broken other times they can be bent or twisted. Could the trip to new york present a chance to change things for the better?. Rory and Amy get there sometime in the late 1930s. If they waited long enough they could find Melody. She arrived and lived there between July 69 and January 70. Poor mite died and regenerated because she was cold and sick probably pnemonia. If Amy and Rory can get to her in time they can be a proper family again. Don't know waht this would mean for grown up Melody aka River but this is Doctor Who anything is possible. Maybe the Ponds can live in the past with the younger version and the Doctor can continue on into the future with the adult version of his wife. That way we can avoid universe shattering paradoxes. Also a little "heartbreak" for all 4 but it is the right thing to do. Amy and Rory are left with a second chance to raise their little girl.

I read somewhere it's episode 9 being filmed but it makes sense that Jenna's first episode she'd film wouldn't actually be her first episode if that makes sense. I just wish they'd announce her character's name and be done with it already.

Neil Cross is a good find. He also created Luther as well. I can't wait to see his episode.
