Wow. Crystal is from Southampton, MA. I lived there for three years. We are talking small farm town without a McD's or Walmart in sight. I will have to see if she was a neighbor.

There was some girl in the second episode that Janice photographed named Naz, but she didn't pick 'cause she explained to the girl that she needed a bit more work and she agreed. I think Naz was of Indian descent, but she was a real cutie pie, with the little J-Lo vibe going on. Hope to see more from her.

Ian was hot as well. But hopefully he'll come back soon too.

In my opinion, most of the girls are mediocre-looking. Nyabul is atrocious-looking in person, but looks great in pictures. Lauren's looks are exaggerated, but she does take nice pictures. I think Crystal is beautiful and all the guys are pretty much debatable, but I think Janice did an OK job with them.

From what I can see so far, of the women, Crystal and Lareja look like winners. The men all look like typical male models: attractive but bland (Although TJ reminds me a great deal of Stephen from Top Chef. I think it's the nose.). I just can't get excited about any of them yet. Maybe when I see more of their personalities that'll change.

There was a girl in a green shirt standing in the lineup last episode, who got absolutely no screen time aside from being in the background a little bit. Is that girl Bre from ANTM's "cycle" 5? If so, then I am more dissappointed with Janice's picks than before.

For all the fuss Janice made about Sorin's manly physique, it doesn't seem to have done a lot of good as Oxygen has him listed as a woman.

I think Janice is blind!!! Or finding out that getting undiscovered models to go on a reality show isn't that easy. The males are the only ones who In my opinion have what it takes so far, I thought Crystal was gorgeous but then I saw this, ugh yuck. However I am pretty sure that finding good male models is a whole lot easier than finding good female ones, primarily because there are alot more men over 6 feet tall then women over 5' 10.

Tyra has to get girls that deliver the drama to so that makes it even harder. (and she isn't going after the homeless for it, although now that I mention it I wouldn't be surprised if there is a homeless girl on the next cycle)

Sorin = gay porn, not fashion at all. Those tattoos dont help either. He does however have a fantastic yummy ass, again perfect for gay porn. Oh didn't Janice mention he was packing to? I wouldn't be surprised if he is being contacted by falcon studios right now.

Why does Janice have a 5"7, 137 lb girl for a model? She used to call that too short and too fat. Jenascia and Eva were shorties, but no way were they that heavy on ANTM. (I did forget which one is the 5"7, 137 pounder.)
Nyabel is simply ugly.
Is Theresa Cutie a real name? And why would an attractive young woman be homeless in L.A.? She could at least get a cocktail waittress job in a day's time.
So far, her choices are worse than Tyra's.

I think the criteria for female models is different than it is for the male ones. The male ones tend to have a generic look to them. For the females, yes there is a focus on height and weight, but more important are certain facial features.

I think Nyabel is a good choice because so many of her features are exaggerated which makes for more interesting photographs. I think Janice sees Vogue and other Avante Guard types of work for her and that is why she is sticking with that choice.

Many models are not very good looking in person. I think we don't realize that because they photograph well. But plenty of absolutely gorgeous people look bland and average in photos. Exagerated features tend to pop more in photographs.
