I'm going to miss this place.
And finally, because Donna is awesome...and so are you.

Nice entries, Uberlisa. Damn, at this rate, I'm gonna be a gibbering wreck by the end of May.
More classics . . .
X-Play (this is "Roger the Stan Lee Experience," whose punchlines usually involved him banging Jack Kirby's wife. I guess you had to be there.)
Wes Bergmann from Real World/Road Rules Challenge (don't ask me which one; they kinda blur together after a while)
South Park (like I said, I was altering the posters for file size; hence the wonky-looking text)
Doctor Who, with an assist from Chapelle's Show (my first DW poster!)

One thing I'm going to miss on TWoP . . . making these posters. It wasn't like making art with the Pixel Challenges, but there was something about finding just the right image and text to display. If there's a place where we can do motivators and/or Pixel Challenges, I would be game. I haven't fired up an anagram generator in forever . . .
I was going to post all of my posters in order, but I don't think there will be enough time. I'll be happy to take show requests, and I'll see if I have them in my archives. I'll also show off my old stuff a bit at a time, but I'm not going to go hog-wild with it. For instance, all this stuff is from Fullmetal Alchemist except when indicated . . .
(this was back when we figured the thread was closing, so I wanted to throw in a farewell)
(another farewell, this one from Mellow Maromi and the gang from Paranoia Agent)
(this one's from the FMA movie, Conqueror of Shamballa)

They're showing up on my Firefox. I'm not sure how to remedy the problem.

Lets see if the following comes through . . . with The Boondocks set to air its fourth season in three weeks, I thought I'd revisit some of my older posters.
(Katt Williams as A Pimp Named Slickback)
(working off the S2 trailer)
(working off S1 highlights)
(I moved this up . . . "Attack Of The Killer Kung Fu Wolf Bitch" airs tonight at 12:30, with Aisha Tyler as Luna)
Once again . . . I'm taking requests. If you got a show, maybe I've goofed on it over the years.

Turning lemons into awesome sauce.
Clothes make the pirate. (A re-do of an old motivator.)
Apparently they thought it was an eating contest.
"Does Ukobach have to cook a bitch?"

I found somebody who wants to add his two cents . . . the star of Pixel Challenge #57 . . .
Okay . . . .onto more entries from The Boondocks, especially since their new season trailer is currently online . . .
(the second season opener centered on Soul Plane II: The Blackjacking. No, really)
(that's been my mood for the past week, to be honest)
(also from "Attack Of The Killer Kung Fu Wolf Bitch" . . . and I thought it would air last night, but I forgot about Adult Swim's penchant for April Fools' Day changes to programming)

I have saved something like 800 motivators from this thread, from Doctor Who to BSG, from Stargate franchises to ... well, every single SF show you can imagine - even Lexx, and all the fantasy, and anime, and British shows, all the weird little humor shows that I love, and the weird little humor things that didn't come from shows, but that made perfect sense as motivators. All of you guys, people like Lantern7 and Trini, Uberlisa and so, so, so, so many others - you are witty, weird, gifted, creative, and you have made my life, and my computer wallpapers, better since 2006, when I first fell into TWoP. Thank you so much.
Also, Hell to the YYeeah! on that Sherlock OT3, Uberlisa!!!!

Kaffyr . . . thanks. That means a lot to me.
ETA: While I'm here, I might as well unload some Doctor Who . . .
(this was back when the show stopped being recapped)

Cutest demon ever.
Insert your own "losing face" joke here.

Until I get requests, I'll just go on my merry way. In this case, I'm sticking with Doctor Who . . .
(from the IDW series, which was published before Matt Smith made bow ties sexy)
(back when Neil Gaiman was confirmed for working on an episode, which would become "The Doctor's Wife." Apologies to Delirium for cutting her face off midway, especially since she was subcontracted to write "Nightmare In Silver")

"And there's nothing wrong with green hair! It's very stylish!"
I don't take recreational drugs. I just watch anime..
It's been a while since I used my favorite running joke.

Please tell me I'm not the only person to see something like this in real life . . .
Posted Apr 16, 2014 @ 3:06 PM
No Lantern7, my town has been lousy with sign twirlers dressed as Liberty and Uncle Sam advertising tax preparation for the last month. Damned cosplaying traffic hazards...

Ah, Lantern7 ... I just saw some poor fellow dressed like that, albeit with a warm woolen hat on underneath the crown (it was cold yesterday in Chicago.) He appeared to be singing softly to himself; I assume that meant he was having a little more fun than Grampa was.
