A: ...My daughter's teachers inspire me. Nurses, people that take care of the disabled. Disabled people inspire me, because they're survivors. The blind inspire me. When you see a one-legged skier, who's blind with a helmet, just look at them....

Janice loves the blind one-legged skiers. Of course.

I truly, truly hope that Janice is funny-crazy like she used to be on Top Model, and not depressing-crazy like she was on The Surreal Life.

I hope she does what she says regarding the first quote. As to the second quote, is she black? lol. Vaseline is a staple in the black community, at least the community in which I grew up in. I never leave home without it.

That is awesome. I used to live down the street from the National Braille Press in Boston (which was kind of a bad location because the sidewalks are all historic and ripped apart by tree roots and stuff, and blind people had to be pretty spry to keep from tripping all over the place). Anyway, I would often see this eyepatched old guy who appeared to be staring intently out the window, and it always scared the crap out of me. Then one time I saw him walking down the street and he was clearly blind, but he also had a hook for a hand! I felt really bad for a while (but I was still secretly a little terrified). Then I found out that he is the president of the NBP! And that he's actually really awesome (he climbed Kilamanjaro or something!) and Janice would love him!

Which I think is the essence why I'm fascinated/in love with/totally confuzzled by her.

Interesting-ish article on the show here. The fact that she calls Twiggy 'Stumpy' is one of those spot on Janice-isms that I love especially because Twiggy is still a million times more famous than Janice ever was but was, in fact, too short for runway work.

Janice's latest Howard Stern Show appearance is recapped here (maybe NSFW). Some highlights:

Janice asked Misty [the Prostitute] how she does the truck stop [tryst] thing because [Janice]'s tried that [on Surreal Life] and it didn't work. Misty said that she has to lower her price but it's not hard to find guys who are looking for some.

Janice said that she was ready to come on the show and admit that she screwed up the last time she was on the show. She said she was all messed up on coke and vodka and she wasn't herself that day.

Howard asked Janice to pull down her pants so he could see what she looks like. She said she's not going to do that unless Howard does it first.

She's a member of the PTA, folks!

I listened to that Howard Stern interview, and for the first time in my life, Janice kinda...annoyed me. I just don't dig her acting all pious about what a great mother she is because she doesn't drink around her kids, yet she freely admits she was all fucked up on coke and vodka during her last appearance. Of course, I do give her props for having the balls to admit that, instead of just pretending she was sober (I didn't hear that particular appearance, so I don't know if it was super-obvious she was fucked up or not). I guess my bottom line is, I still dig her, but I no longer crave a "what would Janice do?" t-shirt.

Girlfriend looks good although you could bounce a quarter off of her face but she is sooooo skinny. And not in a good way, not even in an actress-with-an-eating-disorder way, but like she has AIDS or cancer kind of way. Her arms are as spindly as my ancient Grandmother's, who lives in a home.

Filtered lens aside, Janice has been looking good these days. Perhaps she requested that her latest plastic surgery make her look like an older version of young Janice, versus retooling her to make her look more anglo.

She also is more tanned. I am not a fan of the current tanning craze, but it works for Janice.

Once Janice's face "settles" from all the botox and surgeries, she tends to look stunning -- I thought she looked much better "3 months later" in the 2nd episode than she did in the first.

In her latest appearance on Jimmy Kimmell, she admits to spiking Naomi Campbell's drinks with Ipacac syrup, saying "that's why she's so angry." Awesome. And crazy.

You know I never watched ANTM, I have issues with Tyra Banks's undeserverd fame. So, I was a little on the skeptical side when I first heard about this show. I decided to give myself 5 minutes- now I'm completely freaking hooked and its all Janice's fault.

All the while I was watching it I had this inner dialog in my head:

Bitch is crazy.
Damn she rocks so hard.
Bitch is batshit crazy.
She is the most awesome person ever.
Damn is she high right now?
This woman rules and I must bow down to her awesomeness.

And on and on it went. All I can say is I love me some Janice right now and I am hoping to find my inner Janice very soon- preferably without the heavy drug use or expensive cosmetic procedures.

I was kind of afraid that this show would hurt my self esteem what with them calling skinny girls fat and all, but I think we are much harsher to the girls on the threads than they are on the show so it's all good.

Yeah. It would seem that when Ms. D showed up, Omarosa wasn't finished yet, and she reportedly looked gooood. Janice got so pissed off, she stormed off, and came back stark naked. They photographed her for an hour while Omarosa refused to leave.

I had a dream last night that I was living with Janice. It was very strange and so real that when I woke up I truly thought she would be making me breakfast. Like bagel bites or something. Then again, I'm 7 months pregnant. I think that has a lot to do with it. Weird.

Heh, I Love Me, I had a dream about Janice lately, too. I'm not pregnant, but I'm getting ready to move, and I'm really anxious about it. So in my dream, Janice was making me walk the runway with a moving box full of my husband's heavy record albums, and she was yelling at me that I wasn't being "fierce" enough with the box.

No, I don't know what it means, but it might have something to do with the fact that Janice scares me almost as much as looking for a new place to live does.

I see that as being Janice's new story: I didn't have to go abroad to rescue some poor girl from the African bush or steppes of Eastern Europe, I just had to step out the front door of my modeling agency.*

*Of course the story is going to evolve that Janice and not Peter discovered Sara.
