Yes, and adorably dorky dancing at that! Seriously, John doing that jumping-while-holding-your-ankle-behind-your-back (yeah, you can see how up on dance moves I am) move is hilarious, I think because he's so lanky (mmm... LankyJohn) and has such long legs that it looks more awkward than when I've seen other people do it.

Not that I don't love watching him dance, because it is completely cute. That whole interview is beyond adorable; John's such a good storyteller. His expressions when he's telling that fan story are hilarious, especially him re-enacting how she must tell the story.

I would totally pet his face if I ever met him.

Okay, that's a lie, I'd be way too shy to actually do it. But I'd want to.

...And that's why John should be very thankful that I'll never get to meet him.

...And I think it's time for me to go to bed. I'm a bit punch-drunk with giddiness at having a JK thread, and I should stop before I embarass myself further. ;-)

I wanted to tell you how much I loved it but as a years-long lurker and only recent poster I'm always afraid of breaking some TWoP rule and going too far off-topic. I liked him when I was 12) says "this is written in screenplay format" for some reason makes me uncontrollably fangirly. It's TOO weird. I can't stop watching it. I find it very uncharacteristically Jim, I guess. Just a new look maybe? And I think he says some form of "fuck" at least 5 times ("you were my fucking ticket out of this shithole" or something? *goosebumps*) lol...I'm so weird.

If you go to Office Tally and click the Video link on the sidebar, they have almost all the interviews posted via MySpace (you don't have to be a MySpace member). I know that interview is there because I watched myself on Monday.

Hahaha that's my favourite part of the interview, along with the dancing (I used to hate when people did that ankle-grab, knee-pump thing, but he did it so WELL *swoon*), and when he says "oaawwkay, I don't see how that was appropriate" when he's telling the story about the girl putting her fingers in his mouth.

Thanks, CookieChica! I just rewatched John's first Leno interview (killing time until the marathon starts in a few minutes). It's a great interview, him telling that car story is hilarious. "And... that's my basketball story." And when he puts on that strong Boston accent? Very hot.

I also watched his Carson Daly interview for the first time. Jeez, he's a horrible interviewer. People hate on Leno a lot, but I think Carson's way worse. Kept interrupting and stepping all over John's stories. But it was awww-inducing when John was talking about knowing that Jenna would get the Pam role.

I think to us fangirls, it's like every thing John does becomes innately seductive and somehow sexual. I'd probably have to fan myself now, watching him tie his shoes in Basketball. But then again, he is wearing shorts, and his naked legs lead to thoughts of naked John..... what? I blacked out for a second there.

It's so funny, because that same picture that inspired the "climb him like a tree" comment, when I saw it, I thought the same thing, and then was embarrassed and thought better of posting it. I'm so glad someone did! Now we can all be as open as we want about our JK innermost thoughts, :) No, it IS a good thing! lol.

I'm also glad we have this thread because as much as we have some cool guys on this thread, I could tell a lot of people were getting a little tired of us going on and on about John on the Jim Halpert thread. So now hopefully we can gush away on here! :)
