So Millionaire came in in 1999 and changed game shows forever. Got it, Regis. Time to see if anyone's knocked you off the top of the era you've created since then. (In order to be eligible, a show must have premiered alongside or after Millionaire, so Jeopardy and the like are out. Hollywood Showdown comes close enough. Pyramid and Twenty One's modern remakes are eligible, but not their older versions. So Dick Clark can't save you now, Donny.)

The rules:

The rules are the same as any survival game.

The characters in the game all start off with 15 points. TWoPpers can then cast either a (++) vote to give someone 2 points, or a (--) to take away 2 votes. Each TWoPper can only cast their votes once a day. That's a calendar day, not 24 hours between votes. You can vote at 11:59pm, and again 2 minutes later at 12:01am. You can vote for 3 people at a time. When someone's vote total reaches 0, they're eliminated.

When half of the field is eliminated, then players will only be allowed to receive 1(+) vote, while still potentially receiving 2 negative votes. This is to help make sure the game doesn't last forever.

Also, you can't vote for one person multiple times in a day, it has to be 3 different people.

Please also post the standings with your vote, in rank order. It makes it easier to do the math and prevents an overkill/waste of vote.

So far I seem to be the only one to know Chance Of A Lifetime and Dirty Rotten Cheater. (I know people know Cash Cab abd Twenty One.) So, primer:
*Chance Of A Lifetime was a Millionaire ripoff that lasted a week on FOX. The hook seemed to be that the first question was to wipe out your credit card debt (as long as that debt was under $1,000.) They had a shredder right there to destroy the credit card statement when you got it right.
*Dirty Rotten Cheater had six players, one of which was fed all the answers to use however they wished. Top 10 questions were asked, with #1 being worth the least and #10 being worth the most (it's easier to get #1 than #10, after all). After each round, players voted on who they thought was the Cheater. Whoever they picked got eliminated, but if they were wrong, everyone's winnings got cut in half. When there were two left, the audience took a shot. Whoever was voted to be the honest player got their prize money. It lasted three months on PAX.
